You can't help it, but you exhibit undesirable behavior. There are other explanations for poor impulse control, including the obvious: you want to be rude. When a person basically posts every single term for a type of physical manifestation and says they still can't find it, what then? huff and chortle have nothing to do with the kind of "exhalation" produced. Also, a snort needn't be some violent thing and is often used in dialogues. So plus 1 for finding one term the OP did not find.

Hi, this post will be very emotional, long and all over the place, but I need to put my thoughts somewhere
I'm 16F, my dad 41M has been an asshole my entire life. I don't remember him ever trying to connect with me or trying to be nice. My mom was 17 and he was around 24 or 25, and they only stayed together because of me. My mom would say what she'd do in life if I wasn't born and I just always felt so guilty for it, I wished she aborted me so I wouldn't have to make her life so miserable because she had to stay with him.
There were so many situations were he proved he doesn't love either of us. He would constantly argue with my mom, throw stuff around, a few times he locked us out out of our own apartment. When my middle sister was born, I was 10, he decided to drink with my grandpa. After he was done I had to walk his barely conscious ass home and then he met his friend and locked me in his car. He forgot about me and his friend was the one to come back for me while I had to walk home alone. Another time he would call me a pathetic mistake who can't do anything right because I couldn't find the TV remote. And another time he broke a shelf in anger because I didn't do the homework I had due in a week. The list goes on.
He did drugs too, i don't know what exactly, I never asked. Twice we had to call an ambulance on him in the span of 6 months after it got really bad. The first time I found him and I can't erase that image from my mind. The way he looked will haunt me forever I think. My mom told me to call them off after he "got better" so I did. Next time they came and nothing came out of it.
Last summer, all of his behavior got 100 times worse and he hit my mom. I stood up for her and told him all I think about him, I guess it was the adrenaline but I know I said too much. I said I hated him and I wished he fucking died, and all other awful things. He spilled a drink on me, hit me in the head and then threw me to he ground and ripped my shirt. He shattered my phone with a hammer from what I know, and i ran to my grandma who lives practically next to us (she's his mom and he also takes a lot of anger out on her). We called the police, my mom begged me to not tell them what he did, she promised she'll divorce him and I trusted her so I lied.
Of course they didn't divorce, instead it all continued to get even worse. My mom's family doesn't support her and we'd have nowhere to go if she divorce, she doesn't have the money to pay my dad back for the house if we stayed in it either.
But last week, my mom and grandma finally managed to convince him to go to rehab and since then he's acting completely different. I guess I should be happy but I'm not, I wish I could be. But whenever I talk to him and he's nice, I just remember all the stuff he did ever since I was little and I know I'll never be able to forgive him.
My mom is angry because to her he's clearly trying and if I want things to be better I need to put in the effort. I know I have to but I can't. I don't want to forgive him after all the things he did to me and everyone else. For my mom I guess it's easy to throw away all self respect and pretend like nothing has ever happened, but I can't and it eats me from the inside. I know others have it worse and I should be happy he's getting better from the looks of it, so I just feel guilty.
I'd want to go to therapy, but my mom said I'd tell some lies about my dad, so that's not an option. I'm scared of telling anyone outside of my family because I know this is petty, childish and every synonym of those. I wish I could forget about everything so I could forgive him.

I wanted to hop on here in case you were wasting your money at this terrible establishment. not only do they treat their adult employees like garbage- they like to bully the minors too! like really bad! Everything you have ever read negative about this place is all true. The owners are the bullies and the “lead” server is the worst. Please do not allow your kids to get a job there unless you want to be verbally abused daily and listen to constant bickering between the owners. They hold up this facade like they are just the nicest people when they are quite literally the opposite. Please consider why there is only one standing serving employee they’ve had for over a year now- the rest of the minors aren’t there enough to get fed up with the mistreatment because they only have to be there at most 2 shifts a week. THEY ARE THE WORST. SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSE WHERE!

I've seen several posts from people looking for work. Substitutes are needed greatly in CS and Bryan. The local charter schools also need assistance.
It's not the way subbing is portrayed in media. It's a very straightforward position and support is available as it is needed. The most it requires is a measure of patience and the ability to not give in to attempts to antagonize.

2025.01.22 18:16 handmademammoth Trying Fitness screening test.
I have a question. Why is the force test 20m rushes is 51 secs? And the FST is 46? I go to the gym 4-5x a week and work on my cardio and muscle strength. And I still can’t do it. I really don’t want to go on TRP platoon. I do well on the 15 min speed walk and the sand bag drag. I try and try and try and I can’t get under 46 seconds for the 20m rush for the life of me. It’s discouraging knowing I might end up in TRP anyway no matter how hard I exercise.

Buonasera a tutti, provo a chiedere consiglio su questa comunità su problema spinoso... alto 170 cm x63 kg, mi alleno da anni ma resto sempre lo stesso. Per 3 anni mi ha seguito un trainer a distanza, poi ho cambiato palestra e quando mi hanno rifatto la scheda abbiamo lavorato molto sui dettagli della tecnica. Nonostante ciò nei 3 anni, per quanto magari non lavorassi magari al 100% il muscoloso target, nonostante un alimentazione ben strutturata ( o almeno credo) non ho avuto variazioni sostanziali del fisico, tra le foto del 2021 e quelle di ora vedo pochissime differenze, mentre amici in 6 mesi hanno radicalmente cambiato fisico... consigli?
