2025.01.22 19:26 eifal Desert Tank Sega Model 2 Arcade (Help?!)
Hi all,
I've recently acquired a sega model 2 sit down arcade of Desert Tank! This is the same one that was sat in Trago Mills' arcade for years (not working properly). Last time I knew of it working, the polygons were all over the place (I imagine that's ROM problems), the screen was cracked (I think I've been bundled with a Daytona screen as there isn't any desert tank related colouring on the one I have) and to be honest, nothing works. I can hear static sound, a few lights around the motherboard (under the seat) turn on, the screen's red LED is very dimly lit after a few minutes of deciding whether or not it wants to turn on, no video though, nor signs of life. The sit down area has no lights coming up. I've been told by a fellow in the SEGA group that on the whole these systems are a pain, but to try the PSU first. I'm thinking I will buy an adapter for the RGB BNC connecters and just use an LCD to start. Any pointers to helpful spare sites, forums, anything Model 2 related, would be much appreciated. I'd like to say i could work with a multimeter and test bits and pieces so any diagrams of the circuit boards would be great too. Hope there's some people that know a thing or two about these beasts, or just general knowledge on arcade diagnosis would be great!

Nobody seems to know this. You do not experience the damage reflect of blademail through any type of debuff immunity. It’s not a matter of magic or physical. It is a spell being cast on you as far as the game is concerned, and that spell does not pierce bkb.
Go try it in demo im so annoyed that this isn’t common knowledge.

Hello all,
I’m extremely frustrated with Etsy and their support staff. Im wondering if this has happened to any of you. If so, what do I do?
I shipped the item. The tracking says the item has been delivered but the customer said they never received it . So Etsy proceeded to refund them . (They took the funds out of my account ) . 1) why would they take the funds out of my account when I did everything right ? 2) couldn’t the customer just say they didn’t recieve it . So now they have all their money back and the item?
Any help would be appreciated . Thank you all so much!

2025.01.22 19:26 mrstorydude How bad is it that for the past 18 years of my life, even after having taken 4 years of high school Spanish and an AP Spanish course equivalent, I thought that 'sayonara' is a Spanish word?
Before y'all get on my ass:
Japanese and Spanish sound very similar to an Arabic speaker, and my first language was Arabic. Around the time I got exposed to the term 'sayonara' it was with an American accent and a lot of Americans pronounce sayonara like a Spanish word than a Japanese one to me. I also had an absolutely tiny amount of exposure to Japanese or Spanish content my whole life (most of my Spanish exposure came from watching a couple of telenovellas and Japanese exposure only lasted for 2 years when I had an anime phase).

People on patentexaminer are losing it while they wait for official word from the Office on the impact. Meanwhile people are getting their employment offers rescinded due to the hiring freeze. Federal agencies are being asked to provide an accounting of everyone who is still in their probationary period.
While the office can probably limp along for a while without new hires, apparently something like 85% of the Office teleworks. If they actually end up enforcing the RTO mandate, it's going to decimate the Examiner corps.

We currently live in the US, and have the S7 MaxV Ultra with the Empty Wash Fill Dock. We are relocating to Europe soon, and would like to bring the Roborock with us, but looking on the back of the dock, it is only rated for 120V (50-60Hz). We were contemplating just using a voltage converter -- has anyone else had success using a US dock in Europe with a voltage converter? Alternatively, does anyone know if Roborock sells a version of the S7 dock designed for European voltage?
