2025.01.22 19:26 collisioncandy How long do I wait before asking when they’ll ship
Usually when I order from Depop they send it out within a couple days, but recently I had an order and the seller didn’t do anything for over a week and then refunded everything. Which was frustrating.
Now I’m waiting on another seller, bought on Saturday and it’s Wednesday and I do get that things get in the way. I was hopeful in thinking if order on Saturday I might expect it by early next week. Because that just usually the way it goes.
I really don’t want to come off as pushy. I’m not sure if I’m just being impatient. When I bought the item I did ask for them to keep me updated and they told me they’d ship asap. I’m really really hoping to get this item and I’d be crushed if I have to do this waiting forever dance again just to get nothing.

CONTEXT: I'm 30F in a relationship with 37M for about six months now. We live separately, but | get to sleep over at his apartment 2-3x a week and we see each other almost 5x a week as he can easily drive me to my errands or pick me up from work.
THE DILEMMA: Basically we just had an argument over sex. I've never been a girl who gets off with just penetration alone (even my exes had to touch me while penetrating me so I could get off but that's also because I didn't own a toy back then), but for some reason was able to during our first few times at the beginning of our relationship where I didn't use my toy. Knowing myself, I know I'll be able to enjoy sex more and to the fullest if I use my toy while being penetrated.
I've also communicated with him before that it's hard for me to get off now just by touching myself. As if I desensitized myself and now need my toy to actually get there. Last night, we were both feeling horny but I said I was too tired (we had a long day). In a separate time while showering, I also expressed some disappointment that I forgot my toy at home.
Tonight, I apologized to him in the car on the way home because I was cranky after work because of my workload and was slightly in a bad mood. I also said sorry that we haven't had sex - he said that we could have but only I wanted to have sex if I had my toy (which again, I forgot to bring yesterday while we were at his. I then told him I just tend to enjoy it more if l use it.
He said that as a guy, it feels bad for him to hear that his girlfriend only enjoys sex if it's with a toy. I told him it's just my preference and nothing to do with him (his skills or whatever). He's very good at what he does but my toy just really makes it even better for me. He insists that I've gotten off multiple times before with just PIV and so it shouldn't be a problem that l'Il take longer if we don't use one since we don't want 10-minute sex anyway.
I told him that it seems like an ego thing for him and feel disregarded. Probably he feels disregarded as well that I insist that using a toy each time we have sex is my preference. His other argument is that I sometimes don't allow him to eat me even when I know it will turn him on more and he's okay having sex without it in our foreplay. So somehow he expects me to be as considerate that we have sex even without the toy that I consider maybe somewhat as an "additional turn on" for me.
I honestly got annoyed and just basically gave up on the conversation. I told him I hate having to argue about sex since we even have sex minimum 2-3x weekly and he said I opened it up (because I apologized and repeated that because I forgot the toy apart from being tired yday). I need opinions on this please as you guys can consider both of our POVs as third person. 🙏

Bros and Sis, I saw Amazon's sale on MacBook Air 15" (I am over US). Is there any reason I will want to wait for M4 version ?
I am using my laptop for coding only. I was planning to replace my MacBook Pro M1 by end of the year. Mostly because I travel with my laptop all the time. Having a lighter machine is more important to me (as long as it can drive a 4K monitor). Any other feature that may come with M4 version besides the chip ? thanks.
