I randomly picked up a suplement today for different reasons other than pcos, but noticed it has 200mg of inositol in it. I was considering going on it wither way, I'm just wondering if I would actually see changes with such a low dose, once a day? The thing I bought today is considerably less expensive (obviously, since it isn't 100% inositol), and will hopefully help me with depression/anxiety, so it would be nice not to have to fork out extra money for inositol. Thanks!

What is Shogi Ladder? A teaching ladder is a system where you learn together with an opponent one rank above you and an opponent one rank below you.
How does it work? If you choose to participate in a given weekend sign up for the weekly ladder (sign-up closes Friday 23:30 UTC). You will play two even rated games, and will analyze them together with your opponent afterward. This post-game analysis is key, it is the teaching/learning part of the teaching ladder.

2025.01.22 19:14 intherosylight Do Harbinger and Sovereign’s names bother anyone else?
Maybe this is just me being a pedant but it annoys me that Sovereign was the harbinger of the Reapers (pretty sure Shepard says ‘Sovereign was just a harbinger’ at the end of the first game) and Harbinger was the leader of the Reapers. It’d make infinitely more sense for the names to be swapped. Is there a reason for this in lore or am I overthinking it? Does anyone else find it annoying at all? Are there any other petty things like that in the game that bother you?

2025.01.22 19:14 NikkiMcGeeks Owners who have a rat with an inner ear infection - how long until they started feeling better?
 | My girl Kirby isn’t feeling well. Last week I noticed her sleeping much more, not coming to me when I bring out the treats. Then I started hearing her fall a lot in the cage and noticed her being very wobbly, lots of prophrin on her eyes and nose. She’s always been my most “rigid” rat in that she prefers to not be handled and had become very lethargic and limp when I would handle her. We went to the vet on Monday and the best case scenario is an inner ear infection, worst case is a pituitary tumor. We were sent home with an antibiotic and anti-inflammatory. She’s had 3 doses of the antibiotic and 2 doses of the anti-inflammatory. She seems slightly better - no more excess prophirin on her face and she’s more responsive, but is still very unsteady. Our vet had also suggested being proactive and order some medication that helps with decreasing the size of tumors - we will be ordering it because it seems like a good thing to have on hand since the vet said it takes some time to arrive after ordering. She’s a brown eyed rat and I’ve always felt her vision to not be the best. Since we brought her home she’s always done a lot of swaying which I know is her attempt to see better - so I also wonder if she’s gone blind. We redid our cage to be more friendly to her current impairments and I haven’t heard her have a fall since that change. But my question to this group - those who have had a rat with an inner ear infection - how long did it take for them to get better and back to normal? We always talk about future expectations being already priced into the stock market. We expect that on average, stock market will grow about 8% yearly, and historically it has followed that level of growth. But wouldn’t our expectation of that level of growth already be priced in? Could someone explain why the stock market continues to grow roughly in line with our expectations?

I worked in an area last year where I had to pay the clean air zone charge and I’m sure you were able to back pay 9 days. Iv just been on to pay for going in last Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday and it only goes back 6 days. If I ring tomorrow what are the chances they’ll be helpful and let me pay the 2 days without a fine? Anyone been in a similar situation? Not disputing I owe them or that they’re in the right for fining me

I’m an attorney for more than 25 years. Have had mental health issues since I was a child. A couple failed suicide attempts, the most recent was a solid 20 years ago. My mental health deteriorated over the past decade. I’m on a mess of medications, but am also doing ECT. It helped and is helping. The problem is my memory. It has been pulverized. Still worth it because the SI is gone. Now, my problem is that my memory is so bad it is impacting my job performance. I literally know nothing about many of my cases (I’m a trial lawyer). Even preparing clients for trial is rough because I forget what claims are being made, who the parties to the case are, and a whole mess of other issues. I’m seriously worried I’ll cause harm. Anyone have any thoughts of how to proceed?

Hey all! First time poster, hopefully I don’t come off as an idiot (I will).
My 2012 MBP is not the beast it used to be. I use it mostly for music production and am deeply connected with Logic Pro X. This said, I messed around with unity in the spring and had a really good time and want to dive into it further.
Here’s the dilemma: I love logic but it’s an ios only software. I’ve read if I make a game on a Mac, there’s compatibility issues for if/when I publish a game made on a Mac and want PC users to play it, and let’s face it, Macs are not gaming machines.
All this said, I want to make games but still use Logic Pro x and I’m far from wealthy. Here’s what I’ve been considering and would love to here more experienced opinions:
Buy an older Mac Studio, mostly likely M2 and look further into how to make games that can be played on PC. Pros I see: I have an easy transition from my MacBook. Cons: the compatibility issue.
Build a PC and learn ableton for sound design and music production. Pros: I’m out of the apple universe, I have a machine that I know is capable of my game dev goals, I can upgrade my pc as needed and will most likely save some money (although ableton is pricy too. Cons: I have to learn ableton when I’m already quite proficient in logic and I’d also have to get used to a new OS which I’m not really too worried about
Special option #3: Buy a Mac mini AND build a cheaper pc. Pros: I get to use Logic Pro x, can play test on both platforms. Cons: instead of 1 powerful machine I end up with 2 mediocre ones, and it may end up being more expensive.
If any of you can sway me or disprove some of the things I listed to help guide me to my decision, I will owe you one favour which can be used anytime for the rest of our lives.
