I bought a 2016 Renault Zoe in March 2022 on HP. Iām now looking to VT my agreement and hand the car back. Theyāve asked for the full service history but I donāt think I have it. I had my first MOT in Aug 2022. Then an MOT and service in Sept 2023. And finally an MOT and service in Sept 2024. I have the docs from ā24 and am requesting the ones from ā23. So really, I should be ok to cover me? However, the previous owner only has a stamp in the book from 2017 and a receipt from 2018. Will I need their history too? Or am I ok with what I have? I just donāt want them to charge me for missing info when I didnāt have it to begin with.

Iām currently single and not actively searching for anything specific, but Iām open to seeing where things naturally go with someone. So, Iāve been chatting with men who post on various subs about wanting a long-term relationship or looking for a partner to settle down with.
Hereās the thing: most of them start with basic, friendly conversations, which is fine. Then, they mention how important intimacy is for them, which is fair. But their next questions often dive straight into sex. At first, I would (with a lot of discomfort) answer general questions about intimacy, thinking it was a normal part of getting to know someone.
Over time, Iāve come to realize that many of these guys are simply fishing for details to entertain themselves. They often push for specifics that feel inappropriate, especially when weāve only just started talking and have been chatting for barely an hour. Recognizing this pattern, Iāve stopped entertaining such questions altogether.
The frustrating part is that these are the same men who claim to be looking for serious, long-term relationships. But the moment I steer the conversation away from sex, like asking about their personality, hobbies, or general likes and dislikes, they lose interest. Theyāll say things like, āIntimacy is important to me,ā and refuse to keep the conversation going unless itās about what someone likes in bed, their desires, or other explicit topics.
It makes me wonder: are these men genuinely trying to find a long-term partner, or are they just creeps using these posts as a way to have explicit conversations with women? How can someone even choose a life partner when their primary focus seems to be sex instead of building a connection or learning about someoneās personality?
Has anyone else experienced this? Are there guys out there who genuinely approach dating differently, or is this just the norm now? Iām starting to feel like itās impossible to find someone who actually cares about building a real connection.

2025.01.22 19:14 theflamingspil I start a new job today but I have pink eye
I know this might seem silly but I'm supposed to start a new serving job tonight at 4. One of my eyes is almost swollen shut and Im pretty sure I have pink eye. I couldn't get an appointment for the minute clinic until 3:50 and I'm not sure how to text the manager that I don't think I can come in. I've just never had to call in a job on the first day so I'm worried how this might look. I don't even have a schedule or have been put into the system so I guess I'm just worried they might not go through with hiring me.

I have some twitches in my hand, mainly in my thenar and all the other muscles around the thumb, and on the side of the hand close to the pinky. But I have experienced some other individual twitches in all muscles. This comes together with a feeling of numbness in my thenar sometimes.
What is driving me crazy is that when I put my hand completely at rest (ie. standing and the hand like dead) I feel like if the muscles of my hand were "loading" energy and they start twitching later on - these times, muscles in my palm and upper hand would start twitching.
Has anyone else experienced something like this? This is happening to my left hand only; my right hand (dominant) almost never twitch.

2025.01.22 19:14 saga_87 Back in university, my notes are basically a copy of my course material.
Hi guys
I could use some advice. I'm 37, gifted and probably have some mild symptoms of ADHD. I went back to college to study Computer Science, both for my career and because I just very much enjoy learning.
That being said, I notice that the notes I am making tend to be a somewhat shorter version of what is in my course. It is an online degree so the material is geared towards self-study and there are no lectures.
I am using Obsidian to create this whole network of small notes, and of course I write them in my own words, but I am getting the feeling that is not really time well spent. It becomes more about making this beautiful little network of beautiful notes than anything else.
The course provides a handy list of study goals, which is a list of terminology you have to know and questions you have to answer.
So instead of writing notes, I was thinking of creating flash cards instead that?
Any advice or other tips are very welcome!
