2025.01.22 19:28 AltruisticLow5955 Foldable T-Series Laptop?
I'm looking to buy a ThinkPad with an AMD or Qualcomm processor. I'd like it to be from the T series- but I also need it to be foldable for writing notes.
I can't seem to figure out what the perfect choice is. Closest thing I came across is the ThinkPad L13 Yoga Gen 4 (I would choose the BYO PC option to upgrade specs) but that's not from the T series so I'm hesitant.
Any recommendations or thoughts? I don't know too much about PCs/laptops so any input is helpful.

2025.01.22 19:28 LyricalKnits Another dumb question about how to invest a Roth IRA
I'm a reasonably intelligent person, but I've never been more confused in my life than with figuring out how to invest my recently opened Roth IRA.
I researched things and decided I want to put it into FXAIX, but for the life of me, I can't even find the right buttons to click. Yes, I've searched through this sub (that's how I decided on FXAIX), yes I've searched on Fidelity's website, but it's confusing af. Like, I literally can't find a button for where to invest my Roth.
Is there any tutorial out there that literally shows you what buttons to click? Like I'm a 5 year old? A 5 year old who teaches STEM classes at university, aced integral calculus, and had to teach my kids how Tiktok works? (sorry for the snark, but I've been trying to make heads or tails out of this but am at a loss)

Can we please talk about her claim that a baby can “choke” on clumps of formula while drinking from a bottle??? Yes of course you should mix it well, but also the slit in the nipple of the bottle is literally microscopic—if there were clumps, they would just form in the nipple and prevent the actual liquid from coming out. Unless his bottle nipples are gaping open? Sorry, this is probably petty snark lol but I’m a mom of an 11 month old—my baby’s been drinking formula for months now—and this has never, literally never been a concern😂

I got a second opinion, and this endo tells me I don't have graves but hashitoxicosis. Although I have TRAk. She told me to stop thiamazole (I am slightly hypo after one month at 2.5 and 10 days at 5).
The other endo thinks it's graves and I need to reduce to 2.5 and test in two months. I know 2.5 keeps me hypo.
Neither wants to do addBack.
How can they have opposite views. Why is it so difficult?

2025.01.22 19:28 Standard-Bag1964 I'm tired of everything.
I'm a final year student, just started with 8 sem. Till now I have given about 6 tech interviews and have been rejected by all. The last one I gave at Pepsico which went really well, then at the end I didn't get it and my batchmate with much less cgpa got in instead. Now no good companies are coming for placements, those that come give very low pay or set up very high cut offs and I'm not able to clear them since I have just an avg percentage. I have lost all hope from my placement team. For the last two months I have been applying for off campus opportunities, cold emailing hr's and I don't hear back from anyone. All I have been doing is revising dsa and concepts but it just seems all pointless now that I don't even get to sit for interviews. All of my friends and batchmates have gone for 6 month internships, I'm left all alone and now the profs are pestering me to attend their useless classes. I just don't know what to do now I feel so helpless that I will be the only one in my friend group with no offers at the end. I used to be the class topper and had a decent jee rank, i don't know what went wrong or maybe i am not cut out for software engineering but it really sucks to see myself in this situation and I have no idea how to get out of this

2025.01.22 19:28 Far-Print7864 How do you cope with life revolving around food on a diet?
As weird as it sounds, my life starts revolving around food when I start having a diet.
Usually food crosses my mind like 2-3 times a day, I eat whatever I crave and continue with my life.
When I am controlling my food intake, I think I spend 80% of the day thinking about food. Dreaming about things I cant have which stack up as the time goes on(even if I do have them, the others pile up faster OR I feel guilty about eating more than I should have), being hungry and fighting the hunger off, waiting for the next time Im allowed to have a bite, counting calories, googling new places to try because I cant stop thinking about food.
It also gets progressively worse until I cant take it anymore, and recently it became a big problem because I can easily gain like 10 kgs in a month if I just let it go and live my life. Have you found a way to force your mind to stop behaving like this or how to endure it long term?
