Hey everyone, I don’t know what to do, I feel so bad because of my partner. I am in day 7 post op dealing with pain okay cause of the meds but the smell is just putrid, literally death and i constantly see my partner covering his nose when he is next to me.. he doesn’t want to sleep in the bedroom because of the smell or when he comes in, he lights up the candles and opens the windows.. i understand that it will take another three weeks until the scabs are gone, the taste in my mouth is also awful too, like rotten flesh.. i brush my teeth and tongue, i rinse with salt water yet it stinks! i feel so insecure around him, he helps me so much but i can see and sense that he doesn’t want to be around me, we are for the past week so distant, no cuddles, nothing.. drives me crazy and makes me feel so sad and isolated 😭😭😭😭

I would be grateful for any kind words and/or advice. The last 7 months or so, I’ve been spiraling into old, unhealthy mental habits. I graduated from and MFA program and went from a relatively structured life to no structure, and I think that’s at the root of my emotional decline. I delayed seeking a job in order to focus on getting a book deal, and despite some good progress that hasn’t happened yet. I’m locked in near-panic some days, and low self-worth everyday.
I have been ruminating obsessively, daily (over other people, myself, my anxiety, my unmet goals, my life, my creative paralysis, etc.) I recently got a new therapist but am noticing a huge wave of unsettling attachment to her, so I’m not sure that’s actually improving things. I exercise regularly and that usually helps a lot but I’m really at a new level with this right now. I am trying to reset a meditation routine. I’ve never taken medication, though it’s been recommended to me in the past by therapists, and now I’m wondering if I should give it a try.
Just sitting in my apartment, frozen, unable to advance on my work and in and out of tears. Really struggling.

Correspondence Letter says Edmonton Visa office.
PGWP holder is in Teer 2 Accounting Job. SOWP applicant is in Teer 1 Accounting Job.
I am not so sure if this is important but sharing. We had to travel home for our wedding while awaiting SOWP’s decision. We re-entered Canada 1 day before original work permit and TRV expires. CBSA officer asked these questions to SOWP applicant only while entering:
Q: Why did you came to Canada? A: To work
Q: Where do you work? A: Answer with employer business name
Q: What occupation you work in? A: Accounting
Q: You WP is expiring tomorrow. Have you applied for extension? A: Yes, I am awaiting the decision.
They let us walk away without dealing with immigration officer.
