2025.01.22 19:58 Jonas52 BDI21 Blend makes noise

I bought a Behringer BDI21 bass pedal and when I turn up the Blend (tube amp emulation) knob I get noise. I found this out when I tried to use the "Solo" setting which calls for Presence, Drive and Blend to be up all the way. It's fine until I start turning up the Blend. Unfortunately the return window ended 4 days ago. Has anyone else noticed this? Thanks.

Im noticing this trend within the gaming industry where companies, developers, and the teams that make executive changes within them will very often have NO interest or experience whatsoever in their products from a user perspective. To be clear I don’t mean something like in a dev being bad at the game they work on or a a team making decisions that may run counter to the community in terms of balancing. I’m talking about a mobile game developer, or even a team of game developers who Literally do not play even play mobile games, and do not care about why people do.
Personally I would love meet the guy who thought “our game lacking basic accessibility features for the largest and most profitable demographic of gamers on the planet who also happen to be the majority of our players isn’t too big of an issue, what we should be focused on is the switch(which is discontinued in a bit for the switch 2 lmao)”
For the entire of the game’s lifespan people have been asking for customizable huds and because the devs very clearly don’t get WHY players have been asking for this allow me to help. Many players are physically incapable of playing otherwise and is a massive barrier to entry. Imagine if on halo you couldn’t customize your controls and the devs somehow made it so the only controllers that worked with the game were ones with stick drift. Imagine if on pc you were physically unable to create custom keybinds and you could only aim with a mouse trackpad, but don’t worry the game in question has an option for a second randomized set of binds that you also can’t customize and is equally as unuseable.
Every time someone brings this up, there’s always some poor guy who’s just doing his job. A nice community moderato manager saying “thank you for your feedback I will be sure to relay this message to our team for further developments.” Or something along those lines. To you, you’re good this is for that team. Please tell them the reason why the game is as dead as it is and the reason there has yet to be any update on a season 5 is because the majority of players who would’ve spent enough time playing to buy skins, make videos, and essentially market the game for you are PHYSICALLY incapable of playing the game for long enough to even reach a level of enjoyment with the game that would push them to do that. Any development resources that aren’t focused on the quality of life for the mobile platform at this point is an actual waste of time and money and you can pretend like this is even remotely debatable or ban me but that’s the truth.

Management sends medical to nurse. Per ELM there should be an explanation of the nature of the employee’s illness or injury sufficient to indicate to management that the employee was or will be unable to perform his or her normal duties for the period of absence. Typically statements such as under my care and received treatment are not acceptable.
Asking because my supervisor was told by HR manager that when medical “once expired it must state the condition again otherwise it is unacceptable according to the ELM. If it doesn’t, then state what it’s missing and unacceptable” —-> I don’t think this is correct
So who determines if the medical authorizes SL or AL?
What if I just tell my supervisor I was out for the flu but it doesn’t necessarily state it on my medical? Couldn’t they accept it. My doctor will not put a diagnosis due to HIPAA.
So who is right?
My understanding is the nurse only consults but it lays upon the management to determine if medical is acceptable or not.

Killer concept: Elvira The Wicked One Hey guys! I've always been a fan of mechanics like lullabies, wildlife skill checks, and passive slowdown. I've been wishing for another female M1 killer who has map control and slowdown abilities, similar to the Skull Merchant. Plus, I've been dreaming of a witch or gothic killer for ages! So, I thought I’d share my own concept for a DBD killer that matches that vision. Hope you enjoy it!

Elvira: The wicked one
M1 killer with 4.6 movement speed a 50 meter lullaby and a 32 meter terror radius
killer power Macabre Chamber:
A lullaby starts to play when a survivor is within 40 meters of you
All objectives have a skill check when they reach 99% progress, this includes exit gates hex totems and unhooking all generators totems and exit gates gain cobwebs that take 10 secconds to be removed after 30 secconds of a survivor not interacting with it
All crows become ravens Survivors who: Run past a raven, crouch, hide, or stand still for over 10 seconds will have a raven fly above their head and squak every 6 seconds until it flys away, once a survivor reaches 3 ravens or more they will gain 6% hinder, until all their ravens disappear for more than 5 secconds. Bats: Bats spawn inside the basement, and trigger after 5 secconds of a survivor being in the basement once triggered, bats will make a loud noise notification every 3 secconds. Spiders: if a survivor fails or doesn't complete a skill check on a hook, exit gate, totem, or generator, a spider will crawl out of their objective and bite them, bites cause survivors to lose a health state and applys weep wound if injured.
Gothic candles: 6 candle stands spawn around map, candle stands are highlighted when within 10 meters, survivors can interact with candles, which triggers a 10 seccond blow out animation to blow them out, The following effects occur based on the number of active candles, elvira can re-light a candle which triggers a 3 seccond re-light animation 1 candle: +10% wildlife spawn rate 2 candles: + 20% wildlife spawn rate 3 candles: + 30% wildlife spawn rate 4 candles: + 40% wildlife spawn rate and all survivors gain 1% hinder 5 candles: + 25% wildlife spawn rate and all survivors gain 1% hinder 6 candles: + 25% wildlife spawn rate and all survivors gain 1% hinder
Perk: 1: HEX DEMONIC AMULET: Whenever a survivor lands a successful skill check gain 1 token and trigger the corresponding effects each time a survivor gains a token (Max 16)
4 Tokens: all survivors are kicked off their objective and all objectives are blocked for 2 secconds 10 Tokens: for the next 12 secconds repair speed is reduced by 30%, and all regressing generators are highlighted 16 tokens: for the next 60 secconds all survivors become exposed and you can kill survivors by hand If they're at the struggle phase
Perk 2: DARK RITUAL:RINGING DESPAIR A ritual circle spawns in the basement: near the circle, press the Active Ability button to begin the Demonic ritual which takes 30 secconds to complete, Once the Demonic ritual is completed a bell rings and can be heard across the map, the following effects apply: block the 2 gens with the most progress for the next 30 secconds, and reduce their progress by 15% expose survivors all survivors for 30 secconds increase chance of skillchecks appearing by 250% reduce skill check success reward by 70% for each failed skill check: regress the objective by an additional 10%

took my laptop to get a full keyboard replacement and it’s been a week should i be concerned?
i don’t know much about technology but i used my laptop daily for the last four years and the d key has gone out , ok cool i’ll get it fixed . Man says i need full keyboard replacement after fooling around with it for an hour. Ok no problem pay in full for service in part that day. Part comes in Friday but the tech guy isn’t there. Ok cool i’ll bring it in wednesday after my classes. Guy says ok cool should be done by thursday. Ok cool i say and go on about my business 6:00 thursday rolls around no phone call. So i call friday around 1 and say hey any news on my laptop , man says no not done yet should be done tomorrow. Ok so i wait till saturday 12 as the close at 2 and i have work and i need to know i can get it before they close for the weekend. Mans says this is a really intense process and it takes a lot of time and effort , i say no problem i understand just do you know when. Man says no. It is now wednesday and no call , no email. Where is my laptop? Why tell me it’s gonna take a day and a week later i’m still without.
How long does it actually take to replace a keyboard in a laptop ? How difficult is it?
Can someone please let me now before i give this company a piece of my mind
