Hi!
I am probably low tier, I know, I am trying to grind and trade my way up. I play a stormweaver and will be focusing on dps.
Early on I corrupted a ring just for fun. I was leaning the game and wanted to see what it did.i purposely entered the gameblind to experiment.
The ring has like 166 to maximum mana and 22 dex and some resistances. I don't know if dex does anything for sorceress but total mana does a little bit with the node I have. When I corrupted the ring it got a bous stat; 19% increase crit dmg. So not 19% hit. Same hit chance just more dmg when I hit.
I want to trade of this ring for another ring so I can control other stata like mana regeneration, item rarityfind and resistances aswell as other dmg stats. I tried a ring that had 10% extra cast speed. 30% more lighting dmg and same mana basically.
Now I don't know how multipliers work but I really thought that cast speed + extra dmg would do a lot.... With my crit ring my dps is about 27.5k With my other ring my dps drops to 8.7k
I can't make sense of this. Crit is a chance to bit so the 27.5k dps is an avarege of that chance to happen. Crit dmamge must have some insane multiplier behind it to be so good.
These are to only stat that change with the rings
Ring 1 166 to maxmana 22 dex 19% extra crit dmg Fire esistance, light radius, hp(doesn't matter with my 1 hp)
Ring 2 (not a lower ring but the one I got) 10% cast speed 30 lighting dmg 168 to maximum mana 20% mana regeneration 30% lighting resistance
Anyone that can explain this huge difference?

Hi everyone,
Curious what people thought about this situation that my roommate and I are in. I moved into this apartment owned by a big parent company in July 2023. I had a different roommate at the time but he moved out at the end of our lease and technically a bit early (around may 2024). Another friend of mine “took over” his last 2 months and then we also resigned for this same apartment for another year with the 2 of us.
Now, I’m leaving at the end of this lease but my roommate wants to stay and the office isn’t letting him. They said that he isn’t an “original lease holder” so they can’t let him resign even though we started a new lease in July 2024. They even made me pay the application fee and background screening fee etc. all over. Which at the time I thought was weird if it was a renewal at the same place. But they’re now saying that the lease is a renewal and my new roommate and I never had a “new lease”.
So to me, it’s either a new lease we signed and he can renew in the same apartment OR this is a renewal lease and they shouldn’t have charged me!
We looked through the entire lease and terms etc but never once said it was a renewal and it reads like a brand new lease. This just seems wrong and I’m sure there’s not much we can do to fight it but curious if you had any advice.

Hey everyone, this may be a bit random but a few years ago I found a website where one could take a language placement test for at least 20 languages, all you needed to do is respond to exactly 40 questions (yes, it was not the most accurate test ever but it was still very entertaining). However, I have looked everywhere for the website and have not been able to find it, I also don't remember its name.
Does this ring a bell to anyone? Or maybe something similar?

2025.01.22 22:19 whiteangel1991 Qualifying for EI do they contact all previous employers?
So I was let go from my most recent job this month. I can see my ROE on SC and it shows reason A "Shortage of work" and I have 385 hours. I had 2 previous jobs in the last 52 weeks aswell. My last one before this the ROE says same thing "shortage of work" but only 80 hours of work. Than I have the job before that it was a sales job with high KPIs and metrics you had to hit a certain percentage by the end of your probation to pass. I didn't unfortunately I was slightly under so that job put on my ROE reason M "Dismissed during probationary period" and I had around 330 hours. Now this is my first time applying for EI so I'm not sure how it works. Is it just the most recent employer they contact to make a decision or do they contact all previous employers? I was layed off from my most recent job so for that I should qualify but does it matter that the other job I had at the beginning of 2024 I was terminated during my probation?
