I just wrote my opinion over something and ooh boy got I belittleing and sarcastic comments in this sub.
Posting a opinion here is like walking on explosives here.
I really like the game, otherwise I wouldn't play it. I love the characters, the world ect but some things could be better.
People should be able to express their opinions in a way that is not sarcastic, agressive, belittleing ect
Just.Discuss.Respectfully. and there will be no problems... should be easy right?
For those people who do those things: You just suck. You are the reason People say reddit sucks and you should be ashamed of yourself.
I won't read anything here btw bc I love myself and do what is good for me.
Just wanted to get that out.

For context, I sell phone cases.
In my shop, I use the personalization box to ensure customers confirm their phone model and shipping address before placing their order. My instructions in the personalization box read:
“Please confirm that you’ve selected the correct phone model and provided the correct shipping address by typing ‘YES’ below.” They are requesting a refund or exchange. While I feel partially at fault for approving their initials in the personalization box, I’m frustrated that they clearly didn’t read the instructions.
What would you suggest I do in this situation? Should I offer a partial refund, a full refund, or stick to my policy that orders cannot be refunded (as they are made to order)? Lmk would handle this!

2025.01.22 22:17 LilacBelay Private" seller sold me a dodgy car, put money into his managers personal account who turns out to be a car dealership (England)
So I saw an add local to me on a trusted local area website for a cheapish but nice looking car, bit of damage - scrapes and such but had full service history, year of MOT decent milage for the age and the add stated "no mechanical issues & runs well". Met the private seller on an industrial estate and it looked okay at the viewing, ran alright. Checked under the hood, no gunk under cap, no visible oil leaks, no rust and tyres had decent tread. Lights, buttons/switches turned on/off, gears fine too. That's the extent of mechanical knowledge I have. Service history booklet was full and had local companies in for the past few years. There was no car tax so only a small test drive around the area, but all was well. Put in a slightly lower offer and proceeded with a sale via bank transfer so it was at least traceable if something went wrong. He gave me the details and proceeded with payment. He enters my information on the online v5 which he had on his phone. I had a background video recorder on during and have his full face and clothing/identity recorded.
Two short drives later I can smell burning oil and noticed a few things like the Revs not staying consistent, fuel smell and feeling like it was going to stall when stopping at lights. Other bits didn't work properly like the AC which when turned on after a 20min drive made a horrible noise. I booked an appointment with my usual garage and while they were looking it over I had a closer look at the service history and saw that the handwriting was very similar on several entries. I called every company and bar three they were all fake - no record of that car, never been in, never serviced it. I get a call back from the garage and there was historic codes and two current codes for misfires cylinder 1 and vanos exhaust actuator movement. Oil leak but unsure from where as it was all over the place and they were unable to replicate it there. The suspension bushes and arms were excessively worn and knocking was observed by them on a road test. AC was fully broken at condenser unit and leaking from the pipes. Cracks on tyres.
Messaged seller and he refused a refund, said he was a private seller, sold as seen. Said the best he could do is recommend a garage he knows. I pay £1900 repairs with my garage. Reported him to the police for a car with FSH and was told they think he might be committing a trading offence selling privately but cant definitely prove he did the FSH. This was confirmed when I caught him at a carwash/dealership up the road from where I got the car. His number was on the door matching the one from the add and his name wasn't what he gave me on the bank details. I took a video clip of him matching exactly with what he had on at the buy and snapped a photo of the door with the dealership logo, his name and phone number matching on.
I googled the name on my bank details and it was the company director of the dealership. I would not have gone ahead had I known it was going to someone elses account. I start getting ready for a small claims and sent two letters to the dealer with a great deal of evidence that I could prove it tied back to them both - first ignored, then I emailed and the final one saying no refund results in court. His response; You cant prove it was us or a trade sale, hes a private seller and does it on the side I have proof, he only put the money in my account not our business account because he owed me! I did nothing wrong, i'm not responsible, no refund not my problem, he sold it to you I didnt, it wont hold up in court against either of us, your harassing and targeting my business.
I stated to him he just accidentally admitted it was planned between them and meant to go into the business account, and that was a trading offence. He claimed I somehow twisted his direct quote. Still refused refund - I'm not responsible, he is and hes not a trader its a private sale SASeen. I'm not paying it has nothing to do with me the money only went into my account. He only sells up to 8 cars a year to earn extra money and thats legally allowed! - A quick google search and the motor ombudsman states by that description he is also a trader. I told him he has now just admitted they both are committing trading offences and since hes being unreasonable I'll gladly now take him directly to court as he is financially responsible and his employee sold it to me.
My question is, does he have a legitimate defence here claiming it only went into his account because he didn't technically physically sell me it? Am I right in thinking they are both done for in terms of trading offences and what he admitted to in the emails stated above?
Who am I listing on my claim? just him or also his business? do I put the seller as a joint person on it?
Any advice is appreciated! Sorry for the length
Note: the business has four reviews stating they are doing this exact same scam/behaviour, and have been doing it for years

I am being terminated from my position in Finance at a large, publicly traded, US company without cause due to a workforce reduction. Employed in Ontario for 2.6 years.
They offered termination payment of 4.5 weeks base salary and separation payment of 1.5 weeks salary. Benefits to continue another month. Seems to be more than required.
I met with a paralegal from an Employment lawyer, Monkhouse law who indicated i could get somewhere closer to 5-7 months pay. Does anyone have experience rejecting the offer and handing things off to a lawyer? Or with having worked a similar amount of time and winning a settlement that was close to that? They want $400 to discuss the case further. Should I try to ask for something closer to 2 months myself ?
