My fiancé and I are looking to get married this spring.. we’ll have a small courthouse/private ceremony with the closest family and then a restaurant cocktail reception in the afternoon (around 30ish guests).
I’ve been loving the event space that druthers (CP location) offers- patio style with open seating, casual yet still tasteful. My fiancé had personal ties with druthers, so he doesn’t want to do it there…. Can anyone recommend a restaurant that can offer something similar?

I’m so surprised when fans here being happy Jesse got a good ending in El Camino. Very undeserved. He belongs in jail or dead.
Worst thing he did was how he fucked over his parents by blackmailing on the house using criminal lawyer Saul. He is an addict, a criminal. Been an addict myself and I know when parents kick you out they have given enough chances. So Jesse has already ruined their life being an addict and drug dealemanufacturer and now he fucks them over with the house. Plus his younger brothers future too. That’s family. For all of Walt’s faults, he never fucked over his family purposely. He was ready to give up entire money for Hanks life. Despicable behavior just for some vengeance coz his parents don’t accept a criminal.
Then he is selling potent meth to recovering addicts in NA. He is making millions but does that just for a kick. Then he forces Skinny and Badger to have meth when they’re trying to get sober. Selling meth to cashiers who already have a drug problem.
I have sympathy for poor people who become drug dealers as they don’t have another option or grew up in a ghetto. His family is upper class so no reason to pursue that lifestyle.
Anyways end of rant.

There are many different factors to this conversation but I'm curious of other peoples' experiences and perspectives.
Why are we always expected to pick a side? When two crucial people in your life have a messy breakup, both have their respective issues, hurt eachother and are flawed, as people inherently are. Yet I'm guilty against my own will, and made to feel like a bad friend and person because I refuse to erase someone so important to me from my life. I feel like often in (especially close) friendships between women we're expected to ignore any faults and back our female friend no matter what, and act like they can do no wrong.
I'm in a committed, long-term relationship and yet my friend has a "weird feeling" when I support her unconditionally in every sense, but won't cut one of my only long term friends out of my life, because he hurt her after dating for a little over a year. I have an incredible amount of empathy for her, and have helped both of my friends navigate through their painful, messy breakup. They've both poured their hearts out to me on countless occasions. I've been frustrated, angry, saddened, and extremely empathetic and supportive to both of them, acknowledging their wrongs and rights. And while my friendship with her ex will never be what it once was, especially because my girl friend was a crucial factor, the thought of locking away all of the memories and friendship because of their breakup is upsetting to me.

I'm 29, I currently work in a medium small 5* hotel in my hometown in a position where I do a bit of everything: doorman but also assistance to concierge/reception. It has been good for the past 4 years (+ 1 plain doorman), Good salary, unlimited contract. Can't complain, but I feel at a dead end (not worth making a career there, I learnt a lot, but it's been at least 2,5 years that I'm in autopilot mode, feel stuck with my personal life..) It's a year that I feel like to quit. I'm single, no children, no debts of sort, enough money saved to not go broke in many months. I thought of looking for another high end hotel abroad towards the summer with the back up plan of restarting with a summer season somewhere. I then had the idea to work in a hostel and came across this part time volunteering (2 months accomodation, very expensive but exceptional place) end it right before the summer season. It feels like a now or never chance to do something so out of the box and feel a different energy than the formal luxury guest interaction. I already had some random experiences at uni (language ecxhanges, volunteer in a farm) but maybe I want a last one before starting serious again.
Is it career suicide? Is it likely for me to be unemployed for long after that or the possible summer season?
