So I'm thinking about getting into solar sales but honestly kinda worried about ending up at one of those sketchy companies. You know where the ones which make their sales people push crazy expensive contracts or lie.
Would really appreciate if anyone could recommend some legit companies in the East Bay area.
Just want somewhere I can actually help people save money without feeling sleazy about it.
Been doing some research but hard to tell which companies are actually decent to work for vs just good at marketing themselves. I got to know if some horror stories where reps actually did got clients that ended up buying the system but the employers lied and told the reps nothing worked out.
Any red flags I should watch out for? Current/former solar sales people - would love to hear your experiences!

Does anyone have any experiences with eczema or dermatitis that looks like this? For context, my boyfriend is from NY and moved to FL for about a year. It has happened once before this over the summer after he got a bad sunburn(in FL) but wasn't nearly as bad as it is now. We just recently moved to GA and are waiting for his insurance to kick in to make an appointment with a dermatologist. In the meantine, we have gone to urgent care (2 and a half weeks ago) and they gave him a steroid shot and antibiotic shot, along with a steroid cream and it seems like it is mostly getting worse because now it is spreading everywhere. He's been using the steroid cream, calamine lotion and taking an antihistamine they prescribed. Any help or insight/recommendations would be greatly appreciated! Pictures will be posted in comments.

Has anyone done it here? Tips? Because I'm having a hard time. IT'S HARDCORE, IT'S RAW, IT'S EXCRUCIATING. There is no way to numb the pain or hide it away, I literally have to sit with the pain and get to know it, get to know myself. I just broke up with my boyfriend, my world fumbled and I realized... I had never fixed a broken heart while totally sober. I moved temporarily to my mother's place, away from my plugs and sources and it's been 7 days since I'm sober. I've tried to quit before, this time I hope I'll stick to it. I hope this is cathartic enough to teach me I don't depend on weed to handle my emotions for me, I hope I learn how to face them and deal with them on my own. I am scared that once I move back to my place, to my city, I'll fall into old habits, but I guess that is in my control and that only depends on me

Scottish people - what advice would you give someone from England moving to Scotland?
English people - if you’ve made the move, what advice would you give, or what do you wish you knew before you moved?
Our reasons for moving are: better life for our son, better properties/value for money, family - my partner is Scottish & all his family are there and we want to be closer to family for our son. For me personally, I cannot believe how much green space and countryside there is, I love it and it’s the only place on earth I feel relaxed and calm, and believe me when I say I’m well travelled. I also believe the people are much nicer.
We would retain our jobs in London and commute (very common in our line of work).

Hello!
I'm visiting the UK for a few months and I want to try and check out some hobby stores in Europe. I've noticed over the years that there's some brands of paints and minis that are harder to find in America and I like to support local game stores.
Does anyone have any hobby store suggestions that have a good variety of wares other than Games Workshop products? It might be a silly question but I wanted to ask since it's harder to find them than Warhammer stores.

I'd love to find the right way to say that. I often get people submitting something for my exec's review/approval. While it may be a high priority for the submitter, it is one of many for my boss.
People will ask if it's been reviewed/approved sometimes within a few short hours after submission.
I'd really like to professionally check them - it's driving me a bit crazy. I'm curious to hear how others communicate turnaround expectations to these individuals.

I’ve been stalking this subreddit for a while now and I’ve managed to narrow my options down to Poland. I don’t necessarily want to take an entrance exam so I think Wrocław is most-fitting for me.
I wanted to ask the experiences of students there, first-year to be specific.
I know they only consider your highschool grades and I have a South African school-leaving certificate that I recently just got. I have 6/7 subjects over 80%.
More specifically, my maths is 87, biology is 85 and physics/Chem is 81. Do you think these grades are good enough?

I (19F) and my bf (22M) have been dating for a few months now, just graduated and has part time job in the mean time before he gets a stable job. His shifts are a bit and it really gets to me they are usually around 5 pm - 11pm, but he leaves around 3:45 since its a bit far and texts me again around 1:30-2:00am after he's done with everything. I dont know if its selfish of me but I want him to be with me whenever he can because of things that have been going on related to my college and things at home with my parents. But, im not complaining he sleeps until 12:30 in the afternoon and we dont talk that much unless im up late night or during his day offs. I dont if something is wrong with me but i dont know what to do.

 | What do you guys think? I took the first test once I woke up, and before I drank anything. I saw this line during the timeframe and it has not lightened or darkened since. You can clearly see a faint line in person. The first photos of a single test, is this test. The photos of two tests is a comparison of this test, and the one I took just now, 4 hours later. Of course after having some liquids through the day, and it appears like a negative in the timeframe and no evap line after 20 minutes. I know this is possible due to dilution. I woke up 2 days ago with tendefull breasts, but that’s a typical period symptom of mine… but I am not due to get my period until around the 2nd of February which is over a week from now. I feel like this symptom usually happens closer to first day of period for me. I noticed some very very light cramping, but could’ve been ovulation cramping. Also was exhausted the last two days but chalked it up to lack of sleep. Felt so foggy but better today. TTC on Friday 1/17 well before I’ll test tomorrow, and I know it’s best to wait until after a missed period/implantation bleeding and get ultrasound confirmation, but I had a weird hunch and just felt pulled to test. But could also be my baby fever making me think something! So what do you guys think?
