So I currently have a personal trainer, at crunch fitness. Really chill dude, however today I was telling him about my DnD campaign and it came up that he's interested but never had a chance to play. Would it be "unprofessional" (quotes cause I think it's subjective tbh) to ask if he would like to join my campaign? Appreciate the advice. Not really sure what's considered appropriate in a personal trainecustomer situation

2025.01.22 22:12 XxYamiNoKagexX Weapon Cores don't solely rely on Weapon Substats
It hasn't been that long since the patch and we're still playing around Weapon Cores. However, I'm seeing it mentioned in a few Weapon Core posts that people should reroll their cores because their gun doesn't have the substat and that cores scale with your substats. I thought that as well but then I thought, what about the cores that have stats that people favor slightly less for the more popular choices?
So I tested with Voltia, as Voltia had a green core that can roll mag size and I wanted to see if that works, even though my Voltia does not have a mag size roll. Now for those who haven't unlocked Weapon Cores, a green core for Voltia can have these possible rolls: Atrribute Status Effect Trigger Rate, Rounds per Magazine, Fire Rate, Reload Time Modifier, and Beam Rifle Charge Gain Speed. Now of these rolls, charge speed is the only roll that you can't roll a substat on. So if I were to go by the word of mouth that players are sharing, if I don't have any of these substats, only charge speed would give me a benefit. That is false after testing.
Voltia by default has a base mag size of 42. With 2 ammo modules I use, its 75 and thats reflected on the stats in the module page. I rolled a 74% mag size(78% is the current cap) and there was no change in the number on either weapon info page. So I loaded into the firing range and I saw that Voltia now had 106 in the mag. 74% of 42 is 31, therefore, the Weapon Core for mag size used Voltia's base stats and added that to to its total value. I even tested by switching to a blank module page on Voltia and I had 73 in the mag after reloading.
So weapon cores are not entirely reliant on have the substats on your weapon as it will use the base value wherever possible. However, I do not know if faction and elemental cores do factor into weapon that don't have them. Elemental cores would still work on weapons that were given elemental damage this patch or if you match the roll on your substat but unknown if for example would Voltia benefit from a Chill Damage Weapon Core roll. I also haven't tested if the elemental damage from fire/chill/electric/toxic enhancement modules would also be affected by elemental cores as well.

2025.01.22 22:12 DM_Micah Mac 13,1 won't boot to external drive
I'm trying to boot an older late 2012 iMac to a newer OS using OpenCore, but when I start up my machine, option doesn't lead to boot options.
I have tried setting startup options in recovery mode, but it only lets me set a password for the firmware--no other options.
Any ideas?
