I scraped off popcorn in this room in our new to us house, then I primed the entire ceiling as it was bare drywall under (built in 2000). One spot approximately 3x3’ gets these micro cracks as soon as primer hits it. Skim coat, or do I have other options?

So, self-proclaimed Valheim veteran here, downloaded it a week after it came out in February ‘21, have probably over a thousand hours. I’m really interested in seasonal mods and “plant everything” mods that allow me to plant berry bushes, and willing to explore other mods from there.
I just recently downloaded Skyrim on PC after years of console play and more or less figured out how to run vortex mods, but it was tough. And I’ve tried to set up emulators on my PC but so far it’s beyond my pay grade. Is modding Valheim a difficult endeavor? Or can people with pretty basic computer skills pull it off without fucking everything up?

2025.01.22 22:58 AVerifiedPig What happened to search function recently?
I use PLEX on Xbox and a particularly useful feature is searching for show or movie to find out information and whether it is available on any streaming service in my country. But recently search gives me no results..
Example: I searched for Salem's Lot a few weeks ago and could see all adaptations made. This week it finds nothings.. I think there was an update as it now loads differently but did it break search?

2025.01.22 22:58 Ashietson I feel guilty for ending a friendship with someone I’ve grown apart form
I’ve (25F) been friends with my roommate (25M) for a little under 2 years, our friendship started off slow but grew to being really great friends, lots of inside jokes, spent a lot of time together, just usual best friend type of behaviour. I’ll call him Jack. Just fyi - completely platonic.
8 months ago, I started dating my partner and I noticed my friend had also began going through more work stress as well. My partner got along great with all of my other friends, but didn’t get along with Jack but was polite and civil. During this period, I began noticing more of Jacks behaviours and things he would say and do in the house. Some of them are:
1) does not respect boundaries, I would say no to going out constantly, he would peer pressure me into it by annoying me into agreeing, knocking on my door continuously, shining a light under my door. If I ever didn’t want to/was busy, he would call me a ditcher and generally make me feel bad to the point I stopped agreeing to plans or remained ambiguous
2) constantly use and take my stuff, laundry detergent, some minor food stuff, sunscreen. Not an issue the first couple of times, but when I brought it up he would never acknowledge it/say he wouldn’t do it again. He just does it again.
3) makes rude/cruel comments towards my partner and I. I had surgery a month ago, called me bloated multiple times infront of his partner and my partner and I felt incredibly embarrassed. Has spoken down to me like I’m stupid, called my partner r*tarred as a “joke”. Said I looked busted when I dressed up for Halloween, and although he always says it’s a joke, it feels backhanded and almost like he’s trying to intentionally pick at insecurities
4) is not amicable to trying to understand each other, incredibly defensive, you have to show him “ evidence “ and your feelings/perspective don’t count towards something. E.g. I cleaned the fridge and threw his old food out for over a year, constantly, doesn’t comment/show appreciation for this, I don’t expect it, however when I asked him to throw some of his stuff out of the fridge so I can clean, he gets mad, says he only has a few things in there, speaks to me like I’m stupid then walks off. I felt incredibly disrespected and hurt that he couldn’t even recognise that I had helped him do that for months, on top of helping clean the kitchen up after
I do want to say that he isn’t a bad person at all, he has a good heart and has helped me many times in the past and been a good friend, e.g. helping support me to find a job, go to the gym, go out more, support me after a breakup. He is a good person, we just don’t mesh well anymore
Prior to this I was really easy going and didn’t care about all these little things, that’s why I did them but over time I’ve built up to resent him and have grown apart.
I feel that quiet quitting is the best way for me to end the friendship, mainly because I don’t want to get into an aggressive confrontation with him because he can’t seem to respect where I’m coming from, nor create that anxiety in me that someone is upset with me.
I felt fine about all this until his partner spoke to me and asked what happened, I asked her not to tell him, but I essentially summarised all this stuff and told her I just didn’t feel we had a healthy friendship anymore. She said he had made comments about not knowing why I was upset with him but that he could tell. She asked me to speak to him but I don’t want this energy in my life and can’t see how we can resolve this long term. Bringing things up with other people shouldn’t be so incredibly difficult and confrontational. But I don’t know. He was a good friend, I just don’t know how to move forward.
Sorry for the rant! Would anybody be able to give any advice or things to consider?
TL;DR: friend and I have grown apart from changes in his behaviour, incredibly difficult to have constructive conversations, don’t know how to improve situation so ending things quietly

Okay so I did the patch update today and suddenly the game just wouldn’t load the shaders just kept stalling at either 74% or 99% so I verified the files, I cleared my cache, I updated all my drivers restarted my pc and tried again nothing. I changed my files to launch the game from windows 8 didn’t work. I forced it to launch with dx11 didn’t work so then I tried to uninstall and reinstall. Didn’t work. Tried downloading it on epic and launching it there it didn’t work. Is it my pc? It meets the hardware requirements the game worked perfectly with not a single issue until today.
