Hi so I’ve been at Asda for 4 months now, and recently got switched departments this was before Christmas so my probation wasn’t up yet. But was very close to being up, My SL is known for extending people’s probations. So when it came time and I asked my manager when my probation ends and she said 14th of jan, which would be a couple weeks from the initial 12 weeks, I simply assumed they’d extended my probation(I asked others in my department and they were atleast informed of this, but I got nothing).
Well recently after getting settled in, in my new section, I was asked if I was ok to get my hours cut from 18 to 12. I was obviously reluctant as it’s a pretty big cut, my manager kept pressuring me. So I said yes, but she said we’d further discuss it and the new contract in a sit down later. That was 2 weeks ago never got that, even though I asked, and have now found out through payslip that she’s already changed it and I don’t have access to this new contract. Haven’t been spoken to about holidays even though they get refreshed in April, and also finding out I have to find a cover for my holidays. Which I’ve never experienced before usually management will look for people to cover holiday shifts. I’ve got 42hrs balance and contracted 12, so how many days could I get out of this?🤔
Management has been all over the place recently, even though Christmas is over and it’s quieter, they feel even more disorganised. Recently didn’t find a cover for a colleague on process and was unnoticed for an hour before they made counters take her place for the shift.

I need help. My son passed last year he is forever 26. Out of the woodwork came my evil sister. She has told my daughters that me needing them with me at Christmas was emotional blackmail she has been slowly telling them these things since May when I lost my son their brother. Christmas Day it came to a head now my daughters have zero contact with me. My youngest is 13. I don’t understand why my sister did this I do everything for the girls they have been spoilt but I feel I have lost all my children. Christmas Day I saw on my youngest phone these messages from my sister and her wife. Saying I am leaning on them they don’t have to feel sorry for me I am selfish my son was my favorite so now I’ll be all over them. My daughters literally ran out the house and said it’s not my business my sister is right. It’s not true I have done everything to try to talk to them. I am broken literally I have lost all three now I am alone.

I was wondering if anyone has any issues with the new Bodyguard 2.0 key holing. A few weeks ago i purchased the new bodyguard 2.0 .380. I was breaking it in planning on doing 300 rnd in a single trip. I bought 5 different types from really bad quality ammo to mid tier, all varying in price. It seems to be like the Blazer Brass CCI was the only one that had a keyholing issue, even the crap nasty shit ammo that left unburned residue all inside my firearm still preformed much better (as in accuracy and clean holes in the paper). I personally buy thousands of rounds of blazer brass cci in 9mm and i was hoping for similar quality in the 380 but man was i wrong. Ive shot 9mm blazer brass for the past 3 years and thousands of rounds flawlessly, no ftf’s no key holing and decently accurate. Whats going on here? What causes that particular ammo to key hole in 380? And if it was a problem with the firearm itself, why did subsequently far worse ammo not have this issue?
(The picture of the target was me just burning through ammo trying to find any flaws with the gun/ammo)
Any thoughts on this would be much appreciated and also fmj and plinking ammo suggestions would also be appreciated.
I dont dwell on reddit much because of the morons who often reply to these threads in an angry “.45 is the lords caliber” type of way. I shoot 380 because the firearm is small and out of the way so my girl can grab my dick when i take her to get margs.

*warning!- blood & fighting It was a book filled with a bunch of short stories, the short story that I started reading was called "real life" it took place in a town that was the name of the book, I think the name ended with "emstill". It was about a young boy, probably seven or eight, he lives in this crappy town with his father, mom and I belive he had a sister. They were super poor, it talked about how he was sitting in front of a TV that wasn't turned on watching blood go down his mom's leg because she tried to shave her legs with her husband's straight razor but it just cut them like butter. The main part of the story revolves around him, his dad and mom going to a drive in theater to see Godzilla. His mom keeps trying to depe throat a hot dog then his dad takes him to go to the bathroom so the son doesn't "mess up the new leather". He goes to pee but he doesn't. His father is cussing a ton then this other dad and his son come over and the dad keeps telling the main character's dad to stop cussing in front of his son. "This is a firmly place" "I don't care if your drunk" blah blah blah. Then the drunk dad beats the living shit out of the father and the kid beats up the other kid. That's as far as I've gotten. I really wanted to finish it. Also the over of the book was a roadside with the towns name on it with gunshots through the road sign.

Then they cover the forest like a blanket After a few hours of driving and seeing normal looking deer and birds, Kav sees a glimpse of something large and smooth ducking behind a fallen log. It looked like a wolf, but it was much larger than a normal wolf. Her ears perk up immediately “Phen- stop here please! I saw something!” “Hmm?” Agent slows the truck to a stop “What did it look like?” “I... I didn't get a good look.... Sleek, smooth maybe? A wolf? Very large, larger than a normal wolf but way smaller than the wolves from Qt'un!” “A wolf? Alone? Oh, must be a juvenile Kaba wolf. They are exiled from the pack once they hit 2 years old. They then wander till they meet other exiles and form a new pack” If Kav’s face wasn't practically pressed up against the window, Agent would see her eyes shine and sparkle with the thirst for knowledge that only a druid would have “How delightful!!!! I must try to get a closer look!!” She throws on a hat, which... Looks rather silly in all honesty. It has pockets for her ears.She then opens up the door and jumps into the snow. Not sinking in quite as deeply as she perhaps should have, especially for her size “I shall be careful I promise!” “What! Don’t just run at it! Whatever I’m coming too” Agent melts into Kav’s shadow “They’re pretty hostile, so don’t think that it will eat out of your hand like that slugcat” Kav almost retorts back, she knows wolves. She's actually quite afraid of them, an instinctual fear really, but everything Agent has seen from her indicates to him that she would try to cuddle the thing if she could.... Which is fair… “I- okay, I shall approach with caution then!” She starts to step lighter, tracking the prints in the snow instead of charging headfirst. As Kav creeps closer to where she saw the wolf, it darts out and away towards a group of bushes. It turns around once to growl at Kav. It has yellow eyes and grey fur. “That thing’s definitely young. It’s not used to something coming after it.” Agent whispers Bright yellow eyes. The snarling face. Momentarily, Kavrala freezes. Terrified. To any creature large or small terror is written over her face. She swallows it. “Strong wolf. We mean you no harm” She reaches for the life song “I didn't mean to startle you. Strong Wolf. I just wish to see you.” Kavrala knows that what she's about to do is stupid. It's been stupid in the past, but it's also worked in the past. She slowly moves and sits on her knees “Mighty hunter” The wolf stands its ground, snarling. Kav hears Agent whisper in her shadow “I really hope you know what you’re doing…” There! The life-song! Kav doesn't really know if Agent can 'see' her from her shadow, but she slowly extends her hand in a calming motion “I know I am prone to flights of fancy, Phen. But you must remember; I am an expert druid, an accomplished fighter, a healer, and I work with wild dragons on a daily basis.” The wolf's life-song is vibrant, strong, dangerous, energetic. Pack animals are always more curious. Much more wary, but willing to avoid a fight if possible. Kavrala hums softly, hoping the smaller stature and less threatening pose will help calm the young pup “My, your fur is very shiny and beautiful. Have your hunts been successful?” The wolf stops snarling, but takes a single step back. It has absolutely now clue what is going on. It doesn’t understand how this man-thing can communicate with it. ‘They must really, truly, be nearly isolated from humanoid contact…’ Kav continues to hum, speaking in a sing song voice, just connecting to the life-song “I promise, I am no threat.” Perhaps- a non-typical bribe? “I bring news of a herd of deer” The wolf perks up at that. Any news of a meal would be welcome in this desolate land. It stops backing up and listens intently. Kavrala is studying the wolf closely, size measurements, counting teeth, anything she can see. The wolf really just looks like a normal wolf, except it’s much bigger. The kaba wolf is one of the few creatures to escape the Unification War unchanged. “To the west of here, the trees sing of deer. Stalking, walking and you shall find your prey.” The trees constantly sing to her. They sing about everything. Even of her and Phen. Kav can feel the trees are young. Maybe only 100 years old. They have no knowledge of what burned away their ancestors. Of the wrathful Valkyrie. The wolf looks to the west. It looks back at Kav and gives a bow of its head, then takes off sprinting in that direction. After it disappears from sight, Agent emerges from Kav’s shadow. He shakes his head. “I always forget you can just talk to beasts and stuff. I’m sorry for doubting your abilities. It’s just that I’m usually seeing those things through a gunsight” Kav smiles up at him “It's natural. My carefree nature paired with how serious you are, it's understandable why you forget these things. I am not offended” She stands “What a beautiful species, I can only imagine how they must have first evolved” Agent shrugs “Dunno. Records state they’ve been in the tundra since way before the guild. Back to the truck? We have 2 more hours till we stop for lunch.” Kavrala nods “Indeed! Back to the truck! I can't believe that was just a juvenile! They must be massive an-” She continues gushing about their size for the rest of the walk back. Agent chuckles. Only once they get back in the truck and head off again does it seem Kav takes a breath … The next 2 hours are uneventful, the only animals being seen are just some common birds. Eventually Agent stops the truck next to a small stream. “Alright, break for lunch” Kavrala stretches “Lunch time! Shall I stalk around for some berries?” “Stalk around? I mean if you want to, though lunch will just be MREs. Might be hard to find berries around here.” Kav’s ear flicks, bad choice of words... Perhaps it would be better to go off on her own to see a Wynderling when they set up camp.. “Ah- apologies, it must be the excitement from earlier. How do you make these MRE's again? Hot water, yes?” “Yep! Which is why I stopped at this stream” Agent rummages around in the back of the truck before taking out a pot. He goes down to the stream and begins filling it. Kavrala's stomach grumbles, that encounter with the wolf really unsettled her.. but at least it didn't ruin her appetite. At the very least, if she can't find any berries, she can help add to the meal with her own rations “I have some dried meat that we could add!” “Hey, anything helps! MREs aren’t known to be the best tasting stuff. It just works, that's all.” Agent grabs some firewood out of the truck, and quickly builds a fire, snapping his fingers to produce the first spark. Kav grabs the meat from her own pile of bags and carries it over to the fire “Phen..... I am afraid of wolves.” Though she can’t see it, Agent raises an eyebrow “Are you? You seemed pretty fearless facing that one down earlier” She gets a look of resignation on her face, not sad, but not upset either “Ah... Well, in my line of work you have to learn to swallow your fears. Lest they encourage an attack. I'm sure I looked like a fine meal to that wolf… It is an ancestral fear, my people were hunted and preyed on by wolves and other creatures when we still lived on the forest floor... Wolves always stuck out to us though” “Ah I see. Kaba wolves don’t normally prey on people here though. There’s bigger targets for them, plus 9/10 people here are armed” Kav lets out a small laugh “Hah! I suppose that is fair. I don't have much to worry about then, do I? …Are you afraid of anything? Agent thinks for a moment. “Yes, but not physical things like wolves or such. I’m more afraid of what could happen. I fall to All-Red’s corruption, I can’t protect Analina, The Iron Line suffers a major breach, that sort of thing” “Ah, the fear of what could be. It is a mighty fear to face every day. You are strong for that.” “Hmph, thanks Kav” Kav begins to get the meat prepared, tearing it into bite sized chunks.
