I understand this is not exactly genealogy related but i'm really having a tough time. I have a preconceived notion that people who are into genealogy usually love puzzles and I have a puzzle. Im looking for an estranged family member by marriage. My Grandmother (by marriage) has been estranged from her son for 15 + years. My Grandma is getting to be in her mid 90s. She is ready to pass but is holding on to see if we can find her only son Brian. We are in the US but Brian has been in Europe since he graduated college in the 80s. His last phone call to her was in 2010. His last known job and residence was in Montpellier France. The only clues I have are a linkdin which has email address no longer in use. Im having a hard time navigating french public records. Grandma has been scammed a few times trying to buy information from websites saying they have records of him. We are willing to spend some money to find him. I have emailed private investigators and they want about 1k USD for no guarantees, just to search. Does anyone here know reputable sites where i can buy information or have get access to current french records. I have tried the French white pages and they do not have a listing for him. We have done a 23 and me with Grandma and he is not showing up that he has registered. Does anyone have any suggestions? Does anyone have any European connections that would know the system better? Does anyone know a reputable internet sleuth that I can hire for less than $1,000. He is of retirement age now so he may have moved. My Grandma has never asked for anything from me - she has asked this so I will find him somehow, I just hope its not too late for her to say what she needs to say to him. Nevertheless, the community continues to spread brainrot for the sake of "freedom of speech" with a touch of misinformation. Apparently, anything goes in an online game in terms of voice/text chat because the game is "rated M for mature" or that people are just "soft". Let me glue you in on some facts.
1. ESRB does NOT rate your online interactions
ESRB can't save you.
You can clearly see that the 17+ argument falters. The in-game content is rated, but the voice/text chat interactions are not covered by the rating. So then what covers that portion of online interactions? GOOD QUESTION!
2. YOU AGREED TO THE CODE OF CONDUCT
READ!!
It's all there, black and white, clear as crystal. The game offered you terms. If you disagreed, you don't have to play. Otherwise, what you say that violates the rules will get you punished. You only have yourself to blame. Oh--what's that? AI automatically bans you? Guess what? You're wrong!
3. AI moderation does not automatically ban you.
MANUAL REVIEWS. NO AI.
I've heard this lie before many times. The AI for voice/text chat only monitors your interactions. In other words, the reports and flags are sent to the S&E team. The reports are then MANUALLY reviewed in order to determine if what you said violated the code of conduct. In other words, they know what you said. You can't hide from it. Oh yeah, one more thing.
4. Anyone who says they were wrongfully banned are liars.
The average Redditor who claims they got banned for no reason
Everyone tries this. Someone says something racist or worse, they get chat banned, they whine on Reddit/Twitter about it. The whole reason for doing this is to avoid consequences in order to continue trolling. People will claim innocence and will even suggest that "if others complain, then it has to be true". That logic is flawed and easily defeated. Plus, it's a weird hill to die on by defending being racist and worse online.
P.S. - If you claim those who reported you are soft, they're not. They just like to report you for something you did wrong, thus rightfully using the system against you. It's YOU who is soft since you cry about it on Reddit and social media.

I recently started experiencing a crash while in the middle of playing, beforehand everything was working fine. I had only installed some music mods and they aren't even mentioned in the crash log. But to the point, the log mentions Skee64.dll, Sjel Blad Castle (which I have been looking into), and occlusion.esp for dyndolod. However, I'm not sure what it is as I've reinstalled and disabled Sjel Blad, deleted XPMSE as i hadn't used anything related to it, and redid my dyndolod. I've found that other's have had ctds related to skee64 but none of them quite seem to fit my current situation, as of yet I can't even get past the loading screen before crashing. Any help would be appreciated

I ordered on the app. A $20 order. Went through the digital drive through to be told that I never placed an order. I showed the employee my receipt and order on app. He still tried to gaslight me and tell me I didn’t place an order. I asked for a refund and showed him by credit card app where the money had been removed from my account. He refused to refund me. He kept saying I needed to show proof I made the order and I felt like I was going INSANE because I literally kept showing him the PROOF and he refused to accept a RECEIPT, the order right there staring at him on my screen, and the credit card proof. I told him he could use my phone to see that it wasn’t a fake screenshot and literally the order in the app. Still refused to provide my order or refund. I asked since here is the proof of the order can’t he just make the bowl now? NO. He said my only option was to email support. Like WTF? So here I am $20 poorer, hungry, and want to cry because I feel like I was treated like a criminal and all I wanted to do was get some food. 😭
