What do you think are the possible position for a person with a 10y of experience in large FMCG hygiene enterprise (kitchen towel, napkins etc.) as a production process technologist? For what position would that experience be value added and strong plus?
I'm intentionally not mentioning my intrest and personality ect. to not give you a hint while proposing job type;)
At the same time, I feel like I fixed myself to a narrow path of searching for specified field - that is why I'm asking you for advice, which may result in some brainstorming.

I tried to be super loving and giving and even sending pictures but he was distant with sex he'd want me but hardly follow through now two years later he admitted to light usage of porn maybe once or twice a month just when he thought I didn't want to but that turned into trickle truths where today he admitted to having a full blown addiction but that he wouldn't anymore and it's all on him and he's sorry. I've dealt with a lot of abuse and porn before but I didn't expect it from him I feel really disgusted with myself and unworthy this is the 5th realtionship where other women were more alluring or desirable it's left me feeling like I'm in a loop I can't escape no matter how much I love or keep trying. I don't know how go get through it he says he wants it to work and he's sorry and he is attracted to me but I feel unlovable sex is big to me in a realtionship and he preferred the porn over me though he said he didn't view it like that. Is therapy the only way? I won't be okay alone or with him after this so I need advice. I feel like I want to peel my skin off. If we were still intimate or I couldn't keep up with him sexually I'd be maybe okay with it but sex maybe once or twice a month and this addiction makes me feel so distraught.

2025.01.22 23:50 READY_TO_SINGLE What are Nano’s weaknesses?
I’m new to crypto, please let me know if I’m misunderstanding anything. I don’t mean to make a redundant post if any questions I ask are answered somewhere, but I’m having a hard time knowing what to look for on my own.
My understanding is all a crypto network absolutely needs to have is an ordered list of transactions. Coins can even enter and leave the ecosystem as is the case with ETH so long as they are marked accordingly in the ledger. This “ordered list “ is all we need to figure out who owns what, and to verify that no one is spending money they don’t have. Otherwise, to have real value the network also needs security and protection against currency debasement. And other features carry pros and cons and that’s where the distinctions lie between all the different coins out there.
When learning about Bitcoin/Ethereum I had a hard time understanding why we
A) need blocks and a blockchain at all B) need miners/stakers
It seems like these are pretty arbitrary choices. I acknowledge the network must agree on an order in which transactions took place, but simply doing so with each individual transaction seems totally fine as well rather than batching them together based on some arbitrary selection process.
As for miners/stakers, everyone knows which transactions are actually valid since they’re signed by the sender, so these roles don’t seem to actually be adding any security value. I understand that the network must agree on an order. But is there really no way to establish an order without picking someone to decide and forgo the “security budget?”
It seems like Nano’s way of determining order is one way to answer to that question—as I understand it, when a transaction occurs the interested parties just blast it out to every node and everyone votes on where it goes in the ordered list based on predetermined rules. No waiting for a new block to drop or whatever.
Ultimately the nitty gritty of ordering transactions that happen close together doesn’t really seem to matter and the main thing is making sure that double spends don’t happen. Bitcoin in its current state does that perfectly fine, but it seems like there’s a bunch of extra work involved for no reason.
So what’s the catch? Nano’s system seems to be simpler and better for the environment. And on top of that there’s fixed supply and fast, FREE transaction settlement.
I’m having a hard time finding the answers to the following questions:
are there other blockchains that have an ordering mechanism like Nano? As in some kind of voting. what are the other methods by which a network can agree on ordering? I know of POW, POS and ORV. The “proof-of” methods seem convoluted. what does the Nano blockchain do poorly? The only con I can think of is node operators spend money on compute and aren’t explicitly compensated. And this is a design choice that can be solved with minor transaction fees distributed to node operators that vote or something. does this network just do everything the best? In which case is the only reason the coin hasn’t mooned the fact that it wasn’t a first mover?I’m sure most of these can be answered with deeper digging but I figured asking here could be more expedient and maybe there’s resources that contain all of this info in one place. So about 4 or 5 years ago I got really sick to the point where I couldn't hold down any food and I lost about 45 pounds in a month. I got a bunch of blood work and tests done and nothing ever came back except I had an enlarged spleen by a couple cms and my white blood cell count was low. I got prescribed iron pills and I took those and the next round of blood work my white blood cells were good but my red cell count dropped. I was then referred to a hematologist and she did a bunch of tests for cancer and a bunch of other things. Nothing came back. About a couple months after this I started getting better and was gaining weight again. I would do blood work every 3 months to make sure things were OK but my white blood cells would constantly fluctuate same with my red blood cells. The doctors couldn't figure out what was going on so over a year ago I got a bone marrow biopsy done cause my hematologist was concerned there was an underlying cancer in my bone marrow and wanted to clear that. Test came back negative and she basically had 0 idea what was going on and said at this point your family doctor will do yearly testing to keep an eye on it and if there's any concerns they'll contact her. I haven't had any flair ups in the last 3 years and I've been feeling pretty good with no concerns. This month has been since a year of my last round of blood work and ultrasound. I got my blood work done yesterday and I have my ultrasound tomorrow. Usually my family doctor waits for both labs to come in before contacting me but this morning I was woken up by the clinic calling asking if I had my ultrasound done yet and that my cbc differential was low and to contact the office after I get my ultrasound to book a follow up. I thought it was strange because it was the receptionist that called not the doctor and that's never happened. I've been feeling pretty good and nothing has changed.
Is there anything the doctors could have missed or not considered testing for? I've been tested for basically everything under the sun and I've had a CT scan done and multiple ultrasounds and blood work. Nothing ever came back positive except an unknown about mono with my first round of bloodwork when I first got sick. I'm really confused and concerned about what's going on and if it's just something I'll have to live with for the rest of my life and there's no reason for it and my body is just like that.

The main goal for this design was to make it capable of a full speed part delivery on 12 belts, as well as being able to handle all of the randomly generated shapes (1-4 layers, pins and crystals included), being reasonably easy to understand, and having a decently fast changeover from one shape to another. I built this MAM without looking at any prior examples, figuring the design out myself from trial and error. I'm pretty sure the design is not close to optimal as I didn't know until after I was testing this design just how limited the actual selection of random shapes is. The overall machine is quite large, but most of that space is the train system which delivers raw materials to the assembly platforms. The raw material delivery system packages materials on to 16 trains which each bring five shape cars and three color cars to the assembly area. https://preview.redd.it/xv1rpxphqmee1.png?width=942&format=png&auto=webp&s=a1e4697a815284ff55f9654a6963dba4a3da64b3 Here's a closeup of part of one of the trainyards. The five blocks in the lower left are quarterizer blocks, which take in full shapes (including pins, which I have a dedicated machine elsewhere to make pure pin layers) and break them up into corners. These shapes are fed into the four trains, one for each corner of each layer of the shape being assembled. From above are coming pipes full of red, green, and blue paint which are also fed into the trains. This layout could almost certainly be more compact, but it doesn't really need to be. This MAM builds shapes a layer at a time, from left to right along the builder. Four trains feed corners and colors into each layer builder. The layer builder picks and colors each corner, and then uses swappers to build up the layer. The layer is then stacked on the previous layer if it exists, and then goes through a crystallizer if needed. Each color block has eight blocks of valves and two blocks of mixers, and is capable of mixing any color needed for each corner. When I designed this I was operating under the assumption that I might have to have multiple colors in a layer, but the random shape generator only seems to have one shape per layer, so this could probably be simplified a lot. I ran into a lot of problems with insufficient fluid flow while testing this, which I solved with brute force parallelism. On the right side the train delivers five shape quarters (including pins). These are selected by five blocks of belt filters, then optionally go into the painter. There is also a bypass that lets the parts go around the painter in the case of unpainted parts. This 3x5 area takes the shapes from all four corner builders and uses swappers to assemble them into a single shape. There are also bypasses for building shapes which have voids in one or more corners. Then the finished shape is stacked on top of the prior levels, which come in from the belts on the left side. Two 3x1 strips contain valve blocks which only let fluid through if the corresponding corner is a crystal, and then the 3x3 block in the middle contains the crystal makers. This area ended up very sparse, and could have been done in a lot less space. When I started working on it I was expecting that I might have to deal with multiple colors per level, and would need to make sure to only select the color that matches a corner of a crystal type. That doesn't seem to happen, so the valve blocks really aren't needed. In addition, I was originally expecting that I might even have to be able to handle having multiple colors of crystal per layer, or a layer that had both crystal and empty corners. That would have required a much more complex crystallizer step, but as it turned out random shapes never have that case this part of the MAM ended up a lot simpler than I originally planned for it to be. That's my first MAM. I learned a lot doing this, and figure that I could probably make a much smaller and efficient design if I wanted to. This design can't really get any more compact without completely rethinking everything, as the requirement to bring in four separate 8 car trains for each layer decides the overall size of the machine and I'd need to completely rethink how I'm supplying the MAM with raw materials to make it more compact. submitted by ellindsey to shapezio [link] [comments] |
