Últimamente he estado aprendiendo blazor ya que me interesa el desarrollo de aplicaciones web, más que nada me gusta más el back que el front, y aprendí C#. Pero buscando algún xrmaework para aplicaciones web tenia 2 rutas, irma por la santa trinidad de las Web, html, css y Js o usar un framework de c# y acoplarme a el.
Me dio un poco de pereza querer meterme a JS, y termine encontrando blazor. Pero me da duda... que tan usado es? Que tanto provecho le puedo sacar? He de aclar que me gustaría escalar a aplicaciones ASP.NetCore pero lo sentí algo complicado por eso preferí intelectual de primeras con Apps blazor.
Creen que voy en el camino correcto? Hay mercado pata aplicaciones blazor? O mejor busco pasarme lo más pronto posible a aplicaciones ASP.Net?

 | On Monday January 22, 1980 I was fired from my job as a warehouse manager. This concert is how I ended my first day of unemployment. I’ve seen Rick Derringer a bunch of times. Several times playing in Edgar or Johnny Winter’s bands and a couple times opening for Led Zeppelin. This concert was special because it was in the smallest venue I’ve seen him at, The Old Wal. And because it was an Old Waldorf show, concert attendees could opt to add a dinner to their ticket which gave them priority admission. My crew and I arrived and lined up early. We scored seats front and center. Our table was right next to, actually up against the stage. Rick came out wearing a rather large button on his shirt that said Fuck Iran. This was during the Hostage Crisis, not long after fifty-something Americans were taken hostage by Iranian “students.” It was an amazing show. He played plenty of songs from All American Boy, and that’s exactly what we wanted to hear. Rick is a fantastic guitarist, as you might guess even if you’ve never heard the guy. I mean, he played with Johnny Winter ffs. It’s mind blowing to realize he was only like 17 when he had his first hit record, Hang On Sloopy. His band, The McCoys reworked an earlier song called My Girl Sloopy by The Strangeloves. Early on he was friends with Andy Warhol and hung out at The Factory. In addition to the fame he enjoyed from playing with Johnny Winter you can hear Rick’s guitar on Edgar Winter’s hit song Frankenstein. Later in his career he collaborated with Todd Rundgren, Steely Dan (you can hear him on Gaucho), Barbara Streisand, Cindy Lauper and Meatloaf, among many others. 2025.01.23 00:00 TinyTailor1654 Message for General category candidates taking CAT 2025 - your score is only a filtering criteria for the IIMs only, it does not guarantee a call !!
I keep seeing a lot of posts everywhere and also receive several questions regularly asking me as to why people are not getting calls from the top IIMs despite having high CAT scores of 99 percentile of even 99.7 plus percentile in some cases. The answer to this is very simple and given in the title of this post. The CAT exam is used by the IIMs as a filtering test only, they do not want to use it for the main selection criteria in any manner. Let me try to explain why in this post.
Top IIMs are looking at some ideal kind of student to the extent possible and though, their criteria differ, the following will be something to go by, especially for the general category :-
- Good academic track record with 9/9/8 profile ideally or at least 8/8/7
- Gender diversity and academic diversity will be ideal
- Work experience of 2–3 years is ideal
- Good academic knowledge, general awareness, analytical skills and decent communication skills. These will help in your PI.
- A CAT score in line with the above, so the less you are in above criteria the more CAT score you will be needing for calls as well as for selection.
For those who have gender and academic diversity, life is certainly a lot easier. You will have great chances of calls in IIM K, L even with 98 percentile plus scores, also in IIM I if your academic scores are stellar ones. It will also be easier for you relatively to get calls from IIM B,C with gender diversity and IIM A, S with academic diversity.
If you are taking CAT 2025, assess your profile based on the above and it will help you understand where you currently are. You can also go through my Quora space and read the posts there for useful insights. In case you are unable to figure out your chances on your own, feel free to seek out my help. INTRO Files on a Linux system always have associated "permissions" - controlling who has access and what sort of access. You'll have bumped into this in various ways already - as an example, yesterday while logged in as your "ordinary" user, you could not upload files directly into /vawww or create a new folder at /.The Linux permission system is quite simple, but it does have some quirky and subtle aspects, so today is simply an introduction to some of the basic concepts.
This time you really do need to work your way through the material in the RESOURCES section!
YOUR TASKS TODAY
- Change the ownership of a file to root
- Change file permissions
ls -l and see a file listing like this:-rw------- 1 steve staff 4478979 6 Feb 2011 private.txt -rw-rw-r-- 1 steve staff 4478979 6 Feb 2011 press.txt -rwxr-xr-x 1 steve staff 4478979 6 Feb 2011 upload.bin If you want to change the ownership of a file, use the
chown utility. This will change the user owner of file to a new user:sudo chown user fileYou can also change user and group at the same time:
sudo chown user:group fileIf you only need to change the group owner, you can use
chgrp command instead:sudo chgrp group fileSince you created new users in the previous lesson, switch logins and create a few files to their home directories for testing. See how they show with
ls -lPERMISSIONS (SYMBOLIC NOTATION) Looking at the
-rw-r--r-- at the start of a directory listing line, (ignore the first "-" for now), and see these as potentially three groups of "rwx": the permission granted to the "user" who owns the file, the "group", and "other people" - we like to call that UGO.For the example list above:
- private.txt - Steve has
rw(ie Read and Write) permission, but neither the group "staff" nor "other people" have any permission at all - press.txt - Steve can Read and Write to this file too, but so can any member of the group "staff" and anyone, i.e. "other people", can read it
- upload.bin - Steve has
rwx, he can read, write and execute - i.e. run this program - but the group and others can only read and execute it
chmod utility. Create a simple text file in your home directory with vim (e.g. tuesday.txt) and check that you can list its contents by typing: cat tuesday.txt or less tuesday.txt.Now look at its permissions by doing:
ls -ltr tuesday.txt-rw-rw-r-- 1 ubuntu ubuntu 12 Nov 19 14:48 tuesday.txt CHANGING PERMISSIONS Now let’s remove the permission of the user and "ubuntu" group to write their own file:
chmod u-w tuesday.txtchmod g-w tuesday.txt...and remove the permission for "others" to read the file:

-r--r----- 1 ubuntu ubuntu 12 Nov 19 14:48 tuesday.txt nano or vim. You'll find that you appear to be able to edit it - but can't save any changes. (In this case, as the owner, you have "permission to override permissions", so can can write with :w!). You can of course easily give yourself back the permission to write to the file by:chmod u+w tuesday.txtPOSTING YOUR PROGRESS Just for fun, create a file: secret.txt in your home folder, take away all permissions from it for the user, group and others - and see what happens when you try to edit it with
