Drunk driver hit my fender. Did 5400$ worth of damage. Its in the shop. Still waiting for Tesla Insurance to approve the supplement request. Shop says tesla takes forever. So looks like a 2 week wait. Now I'm back driving my ICE car. It's like living in the 1800s industrial age. It's weird. All the noises. The clanking and thumping. The constant motor sound. The slight vibration at stops. The transmission shifting bumps. It's freaking old tech. I'm spoiled with the Model Y. Can't wait to get back in it. Just a rant. Also feel like a peasant. Lol

Hey guys! Thanks to some fall and winter steam sales I was able to buy Darksouls 1,2,3 and Sekiro. I also recently bought Bloodborne. I’ve beat DS1 last night and the plan is to beat them all but I’m having a tough time choosing which one to do next. So I figured who else could help non other then the souls community!
For some extra context: Aside from DS1. Ive only gotten up to the cleric beast in Bloodborne. It’s been a lot of fun too but I kinda want to save the rest of the game for last / use it as pallet cleanser for when I’m needing a break from a different souls game. I was thinking to do 2 - 3 - Sekiro - Bloodborne but My roommate thinks I should do Sekiro first before anything else. He says I should learn to parry already (on top nothing’s love for the game). To which he has a point and I am kinda leaning that way.

2025.01.23 01:31 idontknowfeeling Heater in closet keeps tripping the reset button?
I could probably ask a different sub reddit, but I was curious if anyone had the same problem. I got the small space heater that the pinned guide recommended, and it usually works. But lately it keeps turning off with the controller and the reset button is the only thing that turns it back on. I'm a total novice with heaters and temperature controllers, so I'm sorry if this is a silly question. Is it possibly an air flow issue? It's plugged into a power strip, maybe it's not getting enough power? I don't have it on the highest heat settings, but should I turn it down all the way? Any help is appreciated.

I got new quads a while ago as motivation to get back into skating but was waylaid for a year by an injury that resulted in 2 surgeries (not skating related). I’ve been itching to get a habit going for both indoor and outdoor recreation. However in my experience, roller skating IS NOT like riding a bike and the last thing this old bod of mine needs is to eat sh*t out of ignorance. I’m willing to pay handsomely for some solid instruction (okay maybe not handsomely so much, but it will be more than just some meatballs. Unless you want meatballs). If this sounds like you or someone you know, please reach out! I don’t think I’m a creep but my friends think I have some issues. Can anyone explain to me what has happened in the story thus far?
I get the intro and the overall universe, but between trying to keep up with the subs (Hearing a bunch of American accents in the zone feels way too funny) and all the factions and intrigue, I'm not sure what's happening now.
The last thing I really got was trying to find Skiff's scanner or who took it. I ran around the garbage pile, dealing with the various bandits and looking for clues about who had taken them and the artifact. I killed one of the bandit bosses and found a mysterious PDA. The Warden (?) Helicopter shows up and takes over the garbage pile settlement with some suit guy from the other non-Warden military group. They seem to be looking for the artefact, so I didn't show them the PDA when prompted to.
Dude who helps you after you initially get knocked out shows up and tells me to go to a location where I meet the Noontide, showed them the PDA, got sent to the Ex-Monolith island.
Around the time I left the starting location it feels like the game started throwing around a hundred names? Am I supposed to know who took the Scanner by now or whose causing trouble for all these people connected to the original plan?

Olá, espero que estejam bem.
Desde a minha infância, sempre achei que meus pais eram muito religiosos. Ambos foram criados em famílias católicas, e essa atmosfera sempre esteve presente na minha vida. No entanto, com o tempo, percebi que não era bem assim.
Quando criança, fui a muitas missas e comecei a catequese aos 7 anos. Mas, depois que nos mudamos de estado, acabei parando a catequese, e nossa ida à igreja foi ficando cada vez mais rara. Aos poucos, fui me afastando do Senhor, mesmo sem perceber.
Mas tudo isso mudou quando completei 17 anos. Foi uma fase de muitas transformações: consegui meu primeiro emprego, passei em primeiro lugar numa universidade pública e conquistei mais independência. Com essas mudanças, comecei a criar um senso mais claro de identidade, e algo no meu coração me levou de volta a Deus. Senti como se aquele fosse o momento d'Ele para mim.
No entanto, ao fortalecer minha fé em Cristo e voltar a rezar, percebi que meus pais estavam mais distantes dela do que nunca. Isso tem sido difícil para mim.
Tenho o desejo de retornar à catequese, mas nenhum dos dois se dispõe a me ajudar com isso e sei que vou precisar resolver tudo sozinha. Também sugeri irmos juntos à missa aos domingos, mas meu pai não quis ir de manhã porque "não queria acordar cedo", e à noite não fomos porque ele alegou um problema no carro. Além disso, meu pai é adúltero, algo que descobri ainda aos 12 anos e que me machuca profundamente até hoje.
Minha mãe, por outro lado, tem um pé no espiritismo e é bastante supersticiosa. Todas as vezes que a chamei para rezar o terço comigo, ela se distraía e acabava me distraindo também, até mesmo rindo durante as orações. Ela costuma reclamar bastante e insiste que "nada de bom acontece na nossa família", mesmo quando consigo ver nossas conquistas diárias.
Não quero que me entendam mal: eu honro meus pais e os amo profundamente. Eles são, sem dúvida, as pessoas mais importantes da minha vida terrena. Mas essas situações, somadas a outras pequenas coisas, têm pesado muito no meu coração e me deixado desconfortável.
Eu só queria que meus pais reencontrassem a luz de Deus e aceitassem Seu perdão.

 | This is my little Nigella who has just turned one and I suspect (and have done so for a while) that she is a Siamese mix. She is EXTREMELY vocal, constantly talking to me and some people have heard her over the phone and thought it was a child crying. She also could just about live inside my skin, she is very strongly bonded to me and will follow me everywhere. The reason I suspect is as she is getting older for some reason her coat is lightening and giving her the illusion of points, which I find very bizarre as this is the opposite of how it works for Siamese as they are born white and then darken, however she has always been black.
