Let’s say I know someone whose company specifically told managers to “knock down” scores for employee reviews.
Lower scores, (remember, falsely knocked down, so people are not being given the rating they deserve), means people aren’t getting the pay raises and promotions they earn.
This has to be illegal, right? The company goes to great pains to NOT put these orders into email or other text form so there isn’t a paper trail I assume.
Guess what? The CEO, and other higher ups get bonuses. And these people rotate out every few years. So if not as many people are getting their earned pay raises the higher up positions making this disgusting decision are taking home larger bonuses.
It’s theft. Plain and simple.
But I would like to know if;
- It is actually illegal. It seems like a form of wage theft to me.
- Exactly which law is it breaking?

Hola, no se si les ha pasado que los juegos simplemente de unos años para acá, ya les aburre o no se enganchan fácilmente, Llevo desde los 8 años jugando videojuegos, y recuerdo que con un solo juego me podía pasar meses y meses jugandolo sin aburrirme, llegué a ese punto hasta los 14 con RDR2, pero después de ese juego, simplemente juego cosas nuevas y me aburro muy rápido, ya que generalmente a la media hora quito el juego, y la verdad es que hay momentos donde si me gustaría poder disfrutar de un juego como cuando tenía 8 años (actualmente tengo 20 y tengo más responsabilidades y no tengo el tiempo de un niño, pero a veces me gustaría entretenerme con algo de este tipo) ¿A alguien más le pasa esto? ¿Simplemente jugar videojuegos fue una moda pasajera en mi vida? ¿O me jodí por jugar desde muy pequeño y crecer me hizo verlo de manera distinta?

2025.01.23 01:23 vegan__vampire Puttanesca-inspired butter beans - one of my favourite dishes
1 large white onion (finely diced, like really tiny) 1 large garlic clove (crushed) 1 Tbsp tomato purée Generous amount of Italian seasoning (you feel it with your heart) Sea salt and ground black peppercorns 1 can butter beans (half drained) Half can chopped tomatoes with juice Splash of Italian red wine Handful of pitted olives (I like to use pimento stuffed, sliced into rings) 1 large artichoke heart (sliced into small pieces) Handful of grated vegan cheese EVOO0, parsley and flaky sea salt for dressing
- Fry the onion in a pan with a generous amount of neutral oil on a medium-low heat. Once soft, add the garlic. Season with salt and pepper and continue to fry until golden brown, stirring frequently to avoid sticking.
- Increase heat to medium-high and immediately add tomato purée. Cover the onions and garlic thoroughly and ensure the tomato does not stick by using a wooden spatula. At this point, add the Italian seasoning.
- Once the purée starts to reduce, add the butter beans and half of their water. Increase heat to high, then cook until bubbling. Once bubbling, add the red wine and stir thoroughly. Use the wine to deglaze anything stuck to the bottom of the pan.
- Reduce heat to low and allow to simmer to remove some liquid. Once sauce starts to thicken, add olives and artichoke. Stir them in, and add vegan cheese. Increase heat to medium and cook as the cheese melts.
- Serve once cheese has melted, topped with olive oil, flaky salt and chopped parsley. Perfect alone or over rice or pasta.

 | Bought a starter rex about a year ago. She grew very quickly and looked amazing, almost prehistoric. Leaves were 8+ inches across. Then I got mealybugs. Somehow they never made it to my other plants but completely destroyed this one. I took a few cuttings and tried to prop them. Didn’t seem to be going too well but started to sprout a few roots so I moved them to soil. Again seemed to struggle and probably wouldn’t make it. Then boom, new growth. Bom, eu sou M 19 e atualmente vou pro 3° período de Direto.. e estou infeliz com o curso. Esse para mim era o Senhor Curso, desde pequena eu falava sobre querer fazer Direito como se realmente soubesse sobre justiça e não tivesse falando isso pois tinha visto uma namorada do meu tio se formar e tornar advogada e simplesmente achar ✨️chique✨️ haha, coisa de criança. Hoje eu me arrependo muito de ter entrado, gastado dinheiro, passado raiva com trabalho, com grupo, com amigas com TUDO, tudo que envolve aquele curso pra mim tá fadado (para mim, okay?) é tudo muito politicamente correto apenas na teoria e temos que fingir que a justiça é feita na prática quando não é claramente, a personalidade da maioria dos estudantes são irritantes e eu jurava que era meme mas não, não é. Passar horas ouvindo sobre leis e coisas que não são aplicadas na vida real para no final fazer um concurso/advogar me enchia de tédio.. não é algo que gosto. Quero mudar para letras, e me julgue.. mesmo que irei ganhar pouco ao menos faria algo simples que gosto, que é estar atrelada a linguagem, estudar livros e poder ensinar um dia, não precisar usar ternos pesados com uma maquiagem padrão.. eu posso ser uma professora incrível, tenho isso aliás no meu sangue! Mas sei que falar isso com meus pais seria difícil porque "não é qualquer curso, é Direito", eu estaria jogando fora as expectativas deles.. além do medo de me arrepender por largar um curso que se diz emprego na certa, concorrido, difícil. Qualquer palavra de ajuda é bem vinda.

Hey y’all, I recently downloaded eafc 25 again since I heard the update was good. And so far I’m enjoying it but the only complain I have is how slow every player is.
