I’m 40 years old, and Lately, my back and leg have been hurting quite a bit, and my doctor has suggested spinal ablation as a less invasive alternative to something like spinal fusion. I’m just curious if anyone here has had this procedure before.

 | During my donation today, it was brought to my attention that I wasn't keeping my arm straight enough during the donation. I thought I would let others know that you need to keep your arms straight and open so that your blood will flow easier into the bag. I had two strokes that affected my left side which makes it difficult for me to keep my arm in place. Lesson learned I guess. 2025.01.23 01:23 thevikingchick I was sold the dream and now I feel like a failure at 36 - help?
Looking for some life advice from other millennials who were sold the dream that if you graduated college everything was going to be okay. And now you're stuck in jobs that had nothing to do with what you studied and want to start over.
Since November I've been in this deep funk and just can't seem to pull myself out of it. I used to think I was a pretty smart gal with iron determination who could achieve anything I put my mind too. But lately I feel so stupid, an utter failure with no valuable skills.
I want to start over, or at least get over this feeling of failure but I don't even know where to start. I feel totally lost and I'm terrified of change. What if it's the wrong decision? What if I end up even more miserable? What if I lose everything?
So...have you started over and how did you find your way?
I don't know if any of this matters, but here is some background on me. As I said I'm 36 and I did graduate college as a pretty average student 3.2 or 3.4 GPA (but who cares at this point). I hold two degrees (International Security & Conflict Resolution and Political Science) and never really understood WTF to do with them. I was very lucky and got a job at the tail end of the great recession and I've worked at the same company for 13 gradually moving up through the ranks. I started as a call center rep and now I'm a project manager for the call center's Learning & Development team.

For this to be considered a work e-ink...really need to support Google Workspace accounts/calendaring. I know this has also been mentioned a ton...but some sort of cross platform sync is needed...even if its not native...as mentioned in other posts, this would require file storage access (specifically to where the notes are stored). This is a major hindrance to this device...especially when you have more than one device. if you have the paper and the mini - they're essentially standalone...this is where they play major second fiddle to devices like remarkable, boox. The sync is flawless. ViWoods - The screen, the writing experience is really top 3 on the market...but the software experience overall makes this very difficult to be a daily driver. Its very very close though. The UI is a breath of fresh air for daily planning. Just need something with an easieautomated option for offloading of docs.

Picked up an order from Total Wine and More day before yesterday and had an issue at checkout. The Instacart Card kept getting declined. I did receive a message (email) from Instacart stating to try it again as debit which did not work. The cashier stated that they have been having issues with the Instacart cards declining for a couple weeks now. I did go ahead and pay for the order then request reimbursement, which was fulfilled quite quickly. Has anyone else had similar issues? If so, what steps did you take?

 | Hi Everyone, So I recently landed a Sony boombox with a working casette tape player and on a whim pulled out some tapes that I had kept from 2,3 decades ago. There was this one tape that I had probably received from someone and had never listened to before, with what seems like the name of the group or musician written on the case. The tape itself has markings in cyrillic letters which translate to "Vintage Romance(s), " apparently. Very sweet and melancholic music, with a female singer and a sophisticated acoustic guitar accompaniament. Not sure if the lyrics are in Russian. I don't know about you, but with the last few chapters that theory of Sunny dying to become a supreme seems more real, or at least having his original body destroyed.
I sincerely hope not, but it's a real possibility now.
Just think, are Ki song, Anvil and Asterion really alive?
Asterion was in space with a broken helmet, so he's not alive.
In other words, the ones we see could just be an avatar they're using.
Imagine that the Anvil we're seeing is just an echo that he's controlling.

After going nuts on FC 24, I decided that i was not going to buy the same game for 90 USD, so I waited a little bit, and now that's 25 bucks I bought it. I came from ps4 (The Menus were horrible!) but bought a 2050 PC with some nice specs, bought the game and it was terrible! There was this awful lag within gameplay which made it almost imposible to play.
Has it always been like this? Is there any solution?

2025.01.23 01:23 Oxyacetylene Can't seem to purge the air from the cooling system after replacing a hose. 2003 Suburban 2500 w/ 8.1, rear heat/air.
A couple of week ago I was getting onto the highway and giving it nearly full throttle, and as I merged it blew a hole in one of the heater hoses right where the clamps hold both heater hoses near the valve cover. I was close to home so I drove it the rest of the way, but the temp never went over maaayybe 215. It has a 180 degree tstat and I could see the temp climb more as I got close to home, a couple times it would peak just above 200 and then drop back down. The next day I replaced the heater hose and tried to fill the system, but it would only take about 1.5 gallons. I cranked it up and tried to get some air out of the system with the cap off the reservoir. When it started to warm up some then the coolant level in the tank suddenly rose and it pushed coolant out of the tank, like it was pushing out a bit air bubble. I added coolant back, let it cool down, and repeated a couple of times. Once the level seemed to somewhat stabilize I added a little extra to the tank and drove it.
Now is where it gets interesting. Starting it up from a cold start and driving, I can hear it gurgling through the heater core under the passenger side of the dash. The drive to work is about 45 mins and somewhere along the way it will come up briefly and say "low coolant." Sure enough if I pop the hood at work or home and take a look, I can see coolant has blown out from somewhere on the passenger side. I think it may be from the cap on the tank, releasing pressure and blowing coolant out. Even after this and after it cools down, I can see some coolant in the tank, but not up to the correct level. When it flashes the message on the dash, it only stays on for about 10-15 seconds and then goes away. It makes me wonder if a big air bubble is coming up to the tank and briefly tripping the coolant level sensor. I've been parking with the front end up higher than the rear and not sure if that helps, hurts, or doesn't matter for getting the air out.
One immediate thing that comes to mind is maybe a blown head gasket from a potentially warped head from the coolant hose blowing. I went and got the "Combustion Gas Leak Detector" kit and performed the test. The fluid never changed color, even after pumping that bulb to suck air through the tester for more than two minutes. If this is accurate then I guess the head gaskets are OK. When I used the test kit, at first the bulb would barely suck any air at all through the tester, just like small single bubbles and taking a while for the bulb to pop back out. After a couple minutes of that, then it started sucking a lot more air through the tester, enough to make it look like a fish tank aerator almost. Maybe this was after it got back up to temp enough for the thermostat to open? I used the test kit after driving home, letting it cool off for a while, and BEFORE I added any more coolant.With the engine idling, cap off the reservoir, I can look inside the tank and don't really see any air bubbles coming up. After I used the test kit and added more coolant, I saw a handful of tiny bubbles, but that was it.
On this model, I don't think there is a rear heat control valve in the coolant circuit? There isn't one that you can see where the rear lines tee off near the firewall. My rear heat/air is also INOP right now due to an electrical issue that I haven't investigated yet.
