I have a skin rash all over my backside and crotch area due to wearing adult diapers and I am out of luck with creams. The burning pain is unbearable. I have tried almost every cream. I left my house at 17 after insulting my mother with every word in the book, I decided to leave out of anger and to make my family feel pain. It's been 2 weeks now, I am living in my car and all I want to do is be back home with my mother and father. They are fine with me coming back but I gotta ask them. My ego is too big to ask them even though I would do anything to be home now. I cant face them and apologize when stuff like this has happened before. Hi all, need some advice/opinions on upgrading our PPOR for more space.
We are a married couple, currently living in a 1BR apartment under my parent's and my name. As such, we are ruled out of most of the First Home Buyer Schemes, except for the Super Scheme, and Victoria Homebuyer Fund (25% deposit from Vic Gov). Parents want to sell the apartment soon, so urging us to move out. I am expecting to get around 100k from the sales.
We are planning on working overseas after 2-3 years, not sure for how long, so unsure if we will be selling or renting our property when we move. Currently weighing up 3 options.
Option 1: Townhouse (2-3BR) in Eastern Suburbs, around 1mil. We currently have low savings, barely enough to cover stamp duty, so will have to wait out a few months for this option. Planning to save around 10% to avoid LMI (my occupation allows for it with certain banks). We think property in Eastern suburbs tends to appreciates decently.
Option 2: House/Townhouse (2-3BR) in Western Suburbs, 800-900k. Can get the house sooner due to lower deposits. However, not expecting it to appreciate as much as the Eastern Suburubs. Also unsure about the rental market there.
Option 3: Apartment (2-3BR) in the CBD/Inner Melbourne, around 700-800k. My partner buys the apartment by themselves, applying for the Vic Homebuyer Fund, so we only put in a 5% deposit. We are expecting the apartment to depreciate, resulting in a lower buyback from the gov. This option is slightly shaky, as their salary is slightly above the eligibility. May attempt to salary sacrifice to meet the requirement if possible.
