Haven't homebrewed any monsters or villains before, thought I'd create a Patron for one of the warlocks in a campaign.
I'm already looking at similar type monsters of the CR, but I was just wondering if anyone had any more concrete resources they start with or use to brew bad guys. Thinking like a more in-depth guide, or a creator tool or a good article for basic tips to make one from the ground up.
I don't have the 2024 DMG, if there's something in there better than the 2014 DMG.

Sorry in advance if this isn't the right place for this question! I’m planning to set up a family server for storing and viewing all our photos, but I’m pretty new to home servers and feeling a bit lost after doing some research. My primary goals are:
- Allow all family members to upload their photos to a shared server
- Organize photos and remove duplicates
- Make photos searchable by categories
- Automate sorting newly uploaded photos
Based on my research, Czkawka seems to be best for finding duplicates and Namexif is best for batch renaming files. However, I’d love recommendations if there are better options.
Where I’m struggling is with tagging and viewing the photos. I’ve read that tools like Adobe Lightroom, Synology, or Google Photos can add tags for easy searching, but I’m unclear if the photos would retain the metadata after leaving the program. Could my family could search directly on the NAS server itself, or would I need something like a Plex server for my family to search via the metadata from any device?
I’d also appreciate suggestions for family members to categorize photos during uploading. For example, could they choose from a dropdown menu (e.g., dog photos, Christmas party, family vacation) to assign categories? I’ve seen examples of custom scripts for automating tasks like renaming files during uploads, but I’m unsure if these can work across multiple users uploading from different devices.
My backup plan is to use the NAS and sort new uploads myself periodically. However, the harsh reality is that if my backup solution isn't convenient or it isn't easy to search for photos, my family won't use it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, even if it's just showing me resources to learn how to code. Thanks in advance!

I got accepted to both for fall 2025 and have trouble deciding which to choose. Im an international and love the city. I like going out and partying but still sitting down and getting good grades. I love pitt for its academics and city-feel. I love MSU for its typical big "america" college experience and also got a scholarship. I have no idea which to choose and im tied to both. Pitt is, im guessing, more studious (although you cant really categorize studious-ness) and MSU more fun. What are your thoughs?

That solute served a single purpose in my mind and that is to remind everyone of their place. Sure it's possible he's an outright nazi, but in my mind, there's something different going on.
From his perspective, he just became the defacto shadow president. He has the ear of all major SM CEOs, who now share his views on content and platform direction and moderation. A whole new media environment has been created solely to serve the purpose of feeding his insatiable ego and allowing him to control a huge share of people's perception to serve his goals.
I think this little stunt was meant to prove something to his critics and that Is -
Anything I say or do will stand without consequence, because were you to criticize my actions, you would simply become an agent of the woke left. A mindless liberal baselessly spreading hoaxes of his masters creation.
That's why he looks so satisfied and proud. He's laying down the groundwork for dismissing grosser and more evil deeds, as simply woke misinformation and alarmism. The base is already conditioned to defend him almost as much as Trump (assuming that Trump will also sign on to any opinion the X owner holds).
All of this is to say, this cannot be forgotten. The more passes he gets by right wing talking points dominating the narrative on his actions, the more emboldened he will feel. You have to keep repeating this, you need to remind people.
No group so resigned and desensitized to it's rivals actions, can ever truly call itself its opposition.

Why is it that if I look through the Canva template library and then use a template, it stays in my 'Recently Used' area but is no longer available form where I found it in the Canva templates?
I'm worried that if I just play around with templates and then decide I don't like my edited design and delete it that the original template will no longer be available.
Is this correct or am I imagining things?

 | Seems to be a deer mouse, and it's extremely tiny and cute. I trapped it against a wall with a small trashcan and created a temporary tank for it with a food dish (with birdseed), water dish, and some hiding places. I haven't touched it and used feeding tongs to touch anything it came in contact with. Just in case. I plan to return it to the wild once this extreme cold is over, but I don't want it coming back in. Maybe a nature preserve? We’ve found that the 4-pack scoop away litter seems to be significantly worse than the 2-pack (boxes) ones, however, in stores I have only been able to find the 4-pack ones. To avoid online costco markups, does anyone have the 2-pack ones in their stores?
We’re looking in the midwest area, but could be helpful for others as well!

ive been wanting to go for a long time now. im super socially anxious but im ALWAYS thinking about going.
i make up fun scenarios in my head about having good conversations with people but i know that in reality im a nervous wreck when talking to people.
im planning on going tonight but im having second thoughts because im gonna go alone, theres too many factors that ive been overthinking if i bring a friend. i know as a girl its dangerous to go places like that alone, especially if im on the more attractive side, but then theres another person i have to think/worry about.
i would say im an introvert who dreams about being extroverted.
im just wondering what the club is going to be like and if i show up awkward and alone will i be sitting in the corner by myself the entire time? i know i have to put myself out there but i am not hitting the dance floor lol.
i guess my goal for tonight would be to meet a cute guy and have a fun night at the club together and maybe go back to his place.
im very new to this stuff, ive never met anyone in this way and im also probably on the autistic side and like to have a second opinion for these things to make sure im not gonna get myself killed.
my problem is either i overthink everything and i hide in my room or i shut my brain off and dont think at all and put myself in dangerous situations. i think this is a time when my brain is shutting off and i just want to make sure this is a good idea.
