‘Friends’ with this guy but have always been moderately flirty. Went over to his house for some drinks last night and…. We had sex.
I think we both knew in the back of our minds that it was a bad idea, but just got caught up in the moment.
I guess afterwards he had some post-nut clarity about the whole thing…..and he acted super cold, regrets blah blah and WENT AND SLEPT ON THE COUCH….
I’m pretty pissed off. I know neither of us are looking to be in a relationship together (we communicated that, so it’s not an assumption) but dude…a little human decency wouldn’t go amiss.
In the morning I just left as he was still asleep on the couch. I am feeling pretty uncomfortable and annoyed about the whole thing.
Am I overreacting or is this guy an ass.

Have any other monitors encountered a site using Veeva’s SiteVault for delegation? The platform features “no signatures” and has an entire white paper about how signatures are not actually needed for GCP.
My TMF team (I work for a large CRO) will not accept the DOA without any signatures, wet-ink or electronic as it is very clearly in our SOPs and sponsor agreement. Apparently the platform has NO way to produce a version that displays metadata demonstrating PI approval. The document is straight up a table with names, tasks, dates, and absolutely no indication of PI oversight.
The site’s refusing to create a physical log, TMF won’t approve the digital version, and I’m stuck in the middle trying to get one side to give in.
I’m all for reducing site burden and moving the industry along, and even understand where they’re coming from but it is so wild to me that Veeva can’t accommodate something so fundamental or see why this is a problem. I’m just not going to recommend a site during a selection visit if they’re using sitevault.
Has anyone else encountered this? How did you resolve it?

 | Sure, our knives can cut things, but I find it impossible to cleanly cut things into very small and/or thin pieces (i.e. garlic, ginger, even green onions ffs) My mom insists that she ‘sharpened’ them last week but my experience trying to cut small pieces of green onion told me otherwise.
