I wrote this at the beginning of last summer. For some reason I re-read it today and was struck by how far I’ve come since this moment. I am not responding to you anymore because I can’t go back to this sadness. Maybe you can find some happiness that I’m happy now.

Today, I found myself unencumbered for the first time in a long time. There was no schoolwork to complete or exams to prepare for. My new job waited for me expectantly, but five days in the future, and I was not in charge of my children for another 24 hours. Mixed feelings swirled in my chest due to the absence of responsibility and structure. I could do anything I wanted today, which in a way, made me feel light and feathered, bird-like. I could fly anywhere I wanted today. But the dull, ever-present ache in my chest weighed me down and kept me grounded.
I felt a lot of things today. I awoke to a sense of longing. I knew there would be no messages on my phone from you waiting for me, but this didn't stop me from wanting to see them there as I squinted with one bleary eye into the screen's brightness. Instead of a dopamine-inducing notification stamped with a capital A, all that stared back at me was the time: 6:22 a.m.
I got up, did my usual morning things, and got ready to see Violet at my mom's apartment. She was her lovely, lively self. She wore a light pink twirl dress, bright pink leggings, and shoes, yet another shade of pink. They were two sizes too big for her and were defiantly strapped to the opposite foot they were intended to be on. We collected flowers, leaves, and berries from outside (Violet refused to gather anything that wasn't pink), then glued them to paper and did our best to arrange them into shapes resembling people. Violet's was more glue than anything, but the bougainvillea petals looked beautiful beside the sticky puddle in the middle of her page (which she declared was ice cream). We had a nice morning. My mom made us a frittata for lunch, which made me realize how hungry I was as it cooked and emitted the aroma of eggs, cheese, and mushrooms. We ate with Vanessa and Lincoln, then parted ways right around noon.
I went for a walk next. As I pulled into the Medicine Lake parking lot, it felt as though my breath and heart momentarily stopped their autonomic functioning. I vigilantly scanned the rows of cars, looking for bright blue. Everything inside me dropped in disappointment when I realized you weren't there waiting for me. After establishing I was alone, my insides resumed beating and breathing.
Step by step, I made my way around the nine-mile lake. I finished listening to my book just as I returned to the parking lot. Again, I automatically checked for you upon my return and was deflated by your absence. Instead of going straight to my car, I ventured to the end of a fishing dock and sat down for a while. In perfect harmony, the sky, the water, and the breeze conspired to evoke a cascade of gentle tears down my face. I let my heartache surface, and I cried. I thought of you. How much I love you and also how much I hoped it would all work out. It occurred to me that even though it's been two years without each other, I still don't know what to do. The pain is less excruciating than it originally was, but I'm still not doing well. I don't know what to do to change this. I'm trying. I'm walking. I'm sitting with emotions. I feel happy when my kids unexpectedly make me laugh. I can get lost in a good book; sometimes, I paint things that I think turn out beautiful. I've even started feeling this strange sensation occasionally, which I think is genuine hope for my future. But a lot of the time, I'm still really, really sad.
After the lake, I went to Barnes and Noble. I didn't find a book but enjoyed perusing the aisles as I sipped a latte. Afterward, I went to Byerly's and bought gross Chinese food from the food bar. I ate in my car and then stopped by Michaels, where I found some new watercolor supplies. I came home, painted a picture that turned out only ok, read a chapter of A Gentleman in Moscow (a really good book, btw), and then had the urge to write about my day.
I didn't quite capture the nuanced sadness I felt today, but I tried. It's my hope that maybe writing about my days will somehow help me heal. I am pretty banged up, emotionally speaking, from the last 5 years. I want to grow from the experiences I have had rather than wither. I'm starting to fear that this sadness will be with me for the rest of my life. I also didn't drink again today, which feels pretty good. Anyway. That was how I spent my day, free as a bird.

I don't watch a lot of YouTube TV but I do watch it so I can get Fox news. I like Bret Baier and I record him. Usually before the election at the end of the recording it just automatically goes to the next box program. Now since the election and automatically moves to CNN or some other left-leaning channel. In addition they moved the link to watch the recording out of my most watched recorded programs.it all about political propaganda. I will not support their political bias I have canceled YouTube TV. If you see changes to the system, now you know why!!!!

Picked up my copy yesterday and wanted to share stuff I found interesting! Some might be old info I just missed before so apologies in advance:

Most of the lore section is narrated from the perspective of a Wildercorps hunter chatting with a hobgrot he's got on mercenary contract. It's a good blend of grotish ideas and framing filtered through wildercorps retelling. (Stuff like the hobgrot talking about Kragnos with reverence while the hunter shudders at the memory of him.)
Cities of Sigmar will contract with Hobgrots to keep an eye on orruk clans, sending signals if they're getting too close mostly in exchange for scrap payment.
Bonesplittaz get one mention which is nice, wasn't expecting any acknowledgement if I'm being real. Narrator says he's never known a orruk to run away from a fight so they must have something really important they're moving toward at the realm edges.
Ironjawz have started bulling KB and Hobgrots into fixing up ships and Kharadron skyships so they can take the fight to sea/sky.
Hobgrots have an explicit origin (as told by a hobgrot, so destro oral tradition disclaimer). Hobgrots offered to side with gork for payment when Gorkamorka split during the end of the age of myth and Gork found it so profane to his sensibilities he stole their green.
The hobgrot specifically calls out Gordrakk as the real force behind the siege of Excellsius. "Kragnos may have been the hammer that knocked down the wall, but Gordrakk is the orruk who swung it."
Skumdrekk gets called weird even by the standards of Kruleboys, in lore splitting off from the Grinning Blades to put together his little zoo/fighting pit we see represented by his new AoR.
Zoggrok has gotten a real taste for siege warfare after Fort Gardus and has taken to scrap-building siege weaponry. He mostly attracts 'ardboyz to his waaagh since they appreciate the tougher armor he makes and aren't yet embedded in their clans like brutes can be.
The narrator thinks chaos killed Kragnos. They didn't obviously, but I enjoy an in-universe narrator being wrong sometimes.
Clans seem mostly the same, Da Choppas shaman leader has gone "truly Weird" and gets spotted all over the realms now which is fun.
Hobgrot also says Skulbugz are the only clan he won't work with. They creep him out too much.
Fort Gardus made a bunch of orruks obsessed with crashing places named after people specifically, which has hit order and chaos about equally as they take on "keeps named for saints" and "fortresses dedicated to dark servants."
We have a named godbeast progenitor of gruntas "Shattatusk."
Hobgrot claims that pre-Era of the Beast Kruleboyz and Chaos Duardin fought a big war that they both had to spend time recovering from. KB only started operating again so soon because of Kragnos.
Smasha and Kunnin' (Gordrakk's axes) are made from a single axe Worldchoppa (which we knew) but I believe this is the first we've heard that the original axe was stolen from Sigmar's throne room during the age of myth after a big argument between him and Gorkamorka (which does bless us with the image of Gorkamorka attending a meeting in Azyr.)

I have a friend (29) who has been my roommate for a year now, who I also work with. I’m 30. She’s out of the country for a business trip, and will not be back for a few more months. I was supposed to be on this business trip with her, but couldn’t due to a family emergency. She and I have split rent for the past year (I own the house and she’s a tenant), and we haven’t really had any problems other than her throwing some childish fits (I.e., she literally threw a fit about my boyfriend playing my PlayStation in my room, when she wanted to play it. Literally told me to kick him off of it so she could play it in the living room.) and before you say anything, yes I know how childish that sounds, and I didn’t even entertain it. Before she left for the work trip (when I still thought I was gonna get to go), she told me that if my boyfriend moves in, she’s moving out. I told her she didn’t have to, but I understand if she felt that way. But I also told her I wasn’t going to stop progressing with him just to keep her as a roommate. When I had to come home abruptly for my family emergency, she reminded me that if he ends up moving in then she’s moving out when he gets back. I responded with the same thing I told her before. It’s been 3 months since I’ve returned home, and my boyfriend and I have decided we want to move in together. Since my roommate had ALREADY told me that she wouldn’t be comfortable living with us together, and she would be moving out, I told my boyfriends sister that she could move in too (since she literally has nowhere else to go for the time being). I’d hope that he would do the same for my sister if she needed it. My current roommate threw a huge fit over this, and changed her story by saying she would’ve been fine with my boyfriend moving in, but that I crossed a line inviting his sister to move in. She demanded that until she gets back she would be paying a storage fee ONLY. I was kind of in awe and just agreed to it, but after 2 weeks, and discussing it with my boyfriend, I decided that if she wanted to pay a storage fee that I should be able to put her stuff in my garage, and clear the 3rd room out (obviously I’m not going to touch her stuff without her consent). So I asked her if she’d rather split rent 4 ways until she gets back or pay a storage fee. She said she shouldn’t have to pay rent cause she’s not using the house and she’s not in and out everyday. I told her that since her stuff is literally everywhere in the house (couch is hers, she has stuff all over the kitchen, laundry room, and the room is not vacant) I couldn’t get a couch until hers was moved, and if this was more of a professional thing then she’d still be obligated to pay rent because she’s still technically living in the house. Needless to say, she’s saying I have downright disrespected her, and didn’t care about her opinion when it came to who lives in the house. I reminded her that we knew going into this roommate situation that it wasn’t a forever thing, and that I didn’t picture myself finding someone I wanted to spend the rest of my life with and live with when she first moved in. She hasn’t been happy for me one time since I’ve met him, and she’s tried to compare him to all of her ex-boyfriends. Anyway, I reminded her that the house is mine, and that I never should’ve made her feel so at home to where she actually thought she had an opinion on who I let live there. She gave me her consent to move all of her stuff to the garage, and I cut off our friendship. She hasn’t since been slandering my name to people on the business trip with her, and trying to ruin my name in the company. She’s lied about the whole situation to make her look more like a victim. I told her she pays for the month, and when she gets back she just has till the end of that month to have her stuff out of the garage before she has to pay for another month of storage. Then she’ll have till the end of that month again. She’s telling people I said she has to be gone immediately and I was going to charge her full rent instead of splitting it in 4ths. I even offered to wrap her couch and pack her things in boxes for her, and I told her I’d help her move and get settled into her new place. Am I over reacting by cutting the friendship off and treating her like a tenant? Also, would I be over reacting if I got HR involved since she’s bringing personal problems to work and creating a hostile working environment. We’ll still have to see each other every day when she returns home for work.

US President-elect Donald Trump, through his DeFi project World Liberty Financial (WLFI), recently made a major operation in the cryptocurrency market.
WLFI acquired approximately $24.6 million worth of altcoins including Ethereum (ETH), Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC), Tron (TRX), Chainlink (LINK), Aave (AAVE), and Ethena (ENA).
According to data from the Arkham platform, the WLFI treasury converted around $24.6 million of the USDC stablecoin into these cryptocurrencies.
Specifically, the project purchased $4.7 million of each token, except for Ethena, with an investment of $2.3 million. These acquisitions reflect a strategy of diversifying WLFI's assets, moving away from stablecoins and betting on more speculative tokens.

Trump's crypto project Currently, WLFI has a diversified portfolio, with the largest holding of 43,000 ETH, valued at approximately $143 million , representing the largest stake. Additionally, it holds $96 million in Tether (USDT) and $56 million in USD Coin (USDC).
Other assets include nearly $6.5 million in Wrapped Bitcoin, Aave and Chainlink , $4.6 million in Tron and $3 million in Ethena.

Also, WLFI added memecoins to its portfolio, purchasing Hoppy ("Pepe's friend"), and interestingly Pulsechain (PLS), Richard Heart token is part of the holdings.

It is important to note that despite the recent launch of Trump's official memecoin, $TRUMP, which generated $25 billion in revenue in 24 hours, WLFI did not acquire any tokens of this cryptocurrency.
In November, Tron founder Justin Sun invested $30 million in WLFI tokens and was quickly appointed as an advisor to the project.
Recently, WLFI sold close to $10 million worth of WBTC tokens days before the presidential inauguration. This move sparked speculation, although WLFI stated that these transactions are part of its regular asset management.
The WLFI wallet also saw significant deposits in Ethereum and USDT. Despite the controversies and with a total value estimated at over $17 million , the project remains open and is looking to raise $300 million by selling 20 billion WLFI tokens.

Ciao, Reddit è la mia ultima spiaggia vi prego di aiutarmi. Sono anni che cerco di ricordare il nome di un videogioco o solo saperne se è esistito veramente. Era uno di quei giochi in cui arrivano orde di nemici, come Brotato per esempio ma con la differenza che dovevi anche fare in modo di avere più compagni insieme a te. Ricordo che il personaggio era bianco e lo associo a un marshmallow diciamo, aveva il viso "paffutto" e carino. La mappa era buia e si illuminava seguendo il movimento dell'esserino quindi dovevi stare attento e veloce a dove spuntavano i nemici. Avevi delle armi con te tipo un fucine a pompa forse. I studied in Chemical Engineering (Bch. Degree) but my first job, after a whole year of searching, is at the telecommunication industry in MNC company as a NOC dispatcher role. It's been a year now working in stressful office environment. I managed to improved my management skill, communication, writing and teamwork.
Should I stay in Telecommunication or work my way to enter chemical/oil n gas industry. How should I work my way on that? Can I make this 1 year experience as a reason for hiring manager to employ me in chemical/oil n gas companies? Should I demand for higher salary than my current salary? What's next?
I heard many times that oil n gas pays better. I think I may like to work on site where I can look at beautiful large machinery. I don't really like dispatcher role, I want to involved in more techical role such as an engineer, or even better, as a manager. Please help me! I appreciate all your opinion and advice.
