Added "ui_units" annotation to add units description to slider or drag widgets; Added undo button next to modified values in uniform variable editor ReShade features its very own shading language and compiler, called ReShade FX.The syntax is based on HLSL, adding useful features designed for developing post-processing effects: Define and use textures right from the shader code, render to them, change renderstates, retrieve color and depth data, request custom values like timers or key states, ... Since 4.5.3 version, crosire added support for multiple shader repositories to download from github. and sometimes people get struggled to find another custom shaders which available outside. But now all of a sudden, it just doesn’t wanna work. I even deleted all of my shaders, thinking maybe I had a broken shader that was breaking reshade and thus breaking my game, but even with all of my shaders uninstalled, it still will not launch with just the bare bones of re-shade. @Xelo Since 4.9 release i tried it in HL2, Black Mesa, TR Legend & Underworld -- everything's fine. And with effects caching playing dx9 games now finally a joy, first compilation is slow as usual, but next ones r fast and smooth. It's finally ready. ReShade 5.0 is a major rewrite of the underlying architecture (again, yay), for improved performance, easier maintenance and future feature additions and most importantly, an all new, extremely powerful add-on API. Re Uninstall Re-Shade NOT WORKING. I have followed the instructions above & deleted just two files plus the ReShade Folder. But I still get a message advising of a ReShade update every time I start my Lockhead Martin P3D flight simulator. When I press SHIFT+F2 I still get the ReShade menu though none of the links work. ReShade Repository Changelog 6.0.0: Features: Added localization (currently with translations for Bulgarian, English, French, German, Japanese, Simplified Chinese) 1c. If Display Depth shows an upside-down image, set RESHADE_DEPTH_INPUT_IS_UPSIDE_DOWN to 1. 1d. If Display Depth show the image with the close objects being white instead of black, set RESHADE_DEPTH_INPUT_IS_REVERSED to 1.

Small background on the dashboard. I don't like Elon, but I do love Tesla's and electric vehicles. In October 2024 I created a small survey to Tesla owners to find out some general questions (color choice, interior, model / trim, issue, financing and a few others)
I currently have 186 entries, which I know is a small dataset, but I am very happy to have collected all of these from real owners.
I love data and making dashboards, even though I am very new to tableau I understand concepts fairly well. What would you do differently about my dashboard. (still pretty crude)

2025.01.23 02:20 identity_alert2 1948 case, but path is confusing (to me). Can someone check my thinking and offer some help?
GF/GM >> F >> Me.
I believe I have a 1948 case through GM -- she had two marriages, so her citizenship gets a little confusing to me. For clarity: GM = grandmother GMH1 = her first husband (not my GF) GF = her second husband (my GF)
All three born in Italy (1893, 1895, 1900, respectively). All three came to America (1902, 1913, 1907, respectively).
Here's the timeline once in the states: 1) 1918: GMH1 naturalizes 2) 1919: GM marries GMH1 3) 1922: GMH1 dies 4) 1923: GM marries GF, who has not yet naturalized 5) 1930/33: GF naturalizes 6) 1938: Father is born
I'm assuming my GM lost her citizenship in step 2, but regained when marrying an Italian citizen in step 4. If that's the case, then I'm assuming I have a 1948 case with GM>F>Me.
However, I've also read that Italy doesn't recognize a woman loses citizenship via marriage prior to 1922... so maybe GM never lost citizenship in step 2??
Does that track? If so, any idea which docs would be necessary? I'm not sure how much of GMH1's info, I need (marriage cert? death?).

In one of my classes, we had a “café”event for teachers, serving them tea, coffee, and refreshments for about 6 hours.
There’s a classmate I wanted to befriend because of their engaging conversation style.
In class, I’m anxious & don’t speak much, but during this, I actually found the courage to. ——— While we were watching the teachers to see if they needed any assistance, I first said something to them.
⚪️ They joked about me looking serious, saying that every time they looked over at me, I had an expression that was like I was going to get a mugshot, which made me laugh. It felt like they were paying attention to me, and when they gave me eye contact, I couldn’t stop smiling!
⚪️ After that, there wasn't much, but they mentioned the chorus (other students) behind us were good at singing.
——— There might be more because I can't fully recall.
We had a break like a few days after. Now it's been almost a month back in school.
I really want to befriend them, but I have no chances. We don't sit near each other and rarely have a chance for interaction.
They also have friends that they always speak to.
I thought of something. I have a friend who’s also into music at school. I could ask them about that person, but like that would be weird… unless I had a reason to mention them.

I had many Amazfit products and the last one is an Amazfit GTR 3 Pro . But if you have a problem with them (you need to be patient). It's been 2 weeks that I contacted the customer service on their support email, because the touch of my smartwatch stopped working, But still no reply . I had a Fitbit and a Xiaomi smartwatches, when I got a problem with them ,they sent me the RMA in the same day without wasting my time. Last time I'll buy an Amazfit product, doesn't worth the price that in paying,with the same amount I could get a Samsung galaxy watch or a Xiaomi Watch 2 pro and I could be sure that I'll have a great customer service.

2025.01.23 02:20 phillydays Latest opinions on using ActiveJob with Sidekiq queueing
I'm writing my first big Rails side project and it requires async jobs. I'm using Sidekiq as the queueing service because I like the reporting metrics it provides out of the box. I want users to be able to check the progress percentage of the job via the API by passing in the job ID.
I've read many Stackoverflow posts (most if not all are older than a year) where folks recommend not using Sidekiq with ActiveJob because it doesn't provide the benefits it was designed for in terms of uniform interface to easily switching out queueing libraries. (these are really good points) Sidekiq's official documentation also states ActiveJob has worse performance than using straight Sidekiq (here)
I want to be able to show the job's progress and I've only been able to implement it with ActiveJob using ActiveJob::Status. Here is how i implemented it:
