2025.01.23 04:00 ZeskReddit Unsure how to proceed with a girl I have deep feeling for.
In late 2023 I (M23) met a girl (F23) who I ended up falling for really hard. She was in a situation-ship with an older man at the time (roughly 10 years older) although expressed she was unhappy in her situation. They ended up calling it off and we briefly dated, though due to my poor mental health (HEAVY anxiety & depression) we ended up calling it off and spent a fair bit of time out of contact.
A couple of months ago she unblocked me on social media and I reached out, so we started talking again. She’s now officially in a relationship with the older guy she was previously in a situation-ship with though expressed the same feeling of unhappiness as before. They rarely see each other, he isn’t a very affectionate person, nor is he super concerned with having kids or being married but these are all things that she wants. She’s expressed she’s deeply confused about what to do as we’re very compatible and she does have feelings for me, although she also feels like she loves him for some reason or another and doesn’t want to hurt him either. Though she is considering whether breaking up with him would be a good option.
She’s been through a lot of trauma in her first relationship and has expressed even though they don’t seem super compatible, he doesn’t seem like someone who’ll hurt her in the same way so she’s scared that she breaks up with him and then gets hurt elsewhere.
I have deep feelings for this girl. I spent a lot of time working on my mental health and over the last few months I’ve felt amazing. Since being in contact again, we’ve gotten along incredibly well and everything feels so smooth and easy. I’m just unsure how I should proceed with this personally as obviously I can’t make the decision for her to break up with her partner on her behalf.

I was on a flight yesterday out of LAX and there were 6 first class seats available when I checked in the night before. Score. I’m Platinum and actually thought I might get upgraded being #4 on the list.
I took a screenshot and the list didn’t change, but 4 of the first class seats disappeared by the next morning. At the gate it showed 2 first class seats available. They announced the flight was completely full, and #1 and 2 didn’t clear the list, but all first class seats disappeared. Who got the 6 first class seats?

2025.01.23 04:00 Pugletting Day Trip: Rental Car vs Taxi vs Boat Tour
I know versions of this question has been asked before in terms of rental car vs taxi and the consensus tends to be rental car - but those questions seem to be more often for more extended stays on the island and we're planning a day trip from SXM.
We're going to be a family of 6 (2 kids, 2 grandparents, 2 middle age adults). The plan is to definitely beach, probably hit a beach restaurant.
Does it make more sense to rent a car to do that to add flexibility, just take a taxi over to the West End and beach there (I know, Shoal Bay is also supposed to be amazing), or say eff flexibility and do one of those boat tours that hits 3-4 beaches w/ snorkeling?
For rental car vs taxi, we're not sure how that would price out if we need 2 cars vs a taxi. Not sure if I really want a car large enough for 6 on an island when most recommendations are for smaller cars (and I'm still slightly scarred by the experience of driving in Scotland last year, especially on Skye, and can't imagine an SUV on tighter roads / tighter parking)
