Hi everyone! We are getting a BMD puppy in 6 weeks - so excited! I’m curious to hear from anyone who has had both Leonbergers and BMDs. My parents have a Leonberger that I helped raise as a puppy, so I’m very familiar with their temperament. She’s now 4, and just a wonderful gentle giant. If you’ve had both, how did they compare? Are BMD harder to train or more stubborn? Does the land shark phase last longer? How are they with strangers? More or less of a Velcro dog than Leo’s? Hoping to get some anecdotes.

I’m going to start this out by saying I find Kelly to be funny and I think she’s a good mom to her kids and is very protective yet encouraging of them to pursue their dreams. One thing that caught my attention is when Abby on her podcast called Kelly out for talking bad about other kids in the studio in the viewing area. Now I know Abby is a very unreliable source with a skewed mindset so I originally wrote this statement off, however I was watching some episodes and caught a few times Kelly made unkind comments about kids in the studio. The one that stuck out to me was when Kelly said Payton sounded like a sick cow when singing and she said it upstairs with all the moms there and on national tv. Payton was Brooke’s competition that week so I wonder if Kelly was nervous and annoyed and took it out on Payton which wasn’t cool she was a 15 year old girl who was her daughter’s dance friend. Idk if this was one of a few off handed comments she made or if this was something she regularly did. When Brooke was younger she was the favorite and I wonder if Kelly would talk about her competition in the studio poorly or something like that and that’s what Abby was referring to. Brooke and kelly have said Kelly was intense and hard on Brooke when she was younger because she had to talent to go far and she wanted to push her but chilled out later when Brooke needed her to stop and she listened. I do wonder if there’s truth to Abby’s comment when Brooke was younger and kelly was more intense and she just calmed it down later but we do see hints of it from time to time. Again not accusing Kelly of anything since there’s not a lot of proof just something I’ve been wondering.

I currently have my own tplink wifi 6e router, it never pulls a gig when i had the gig and it was slower, i see people getting over a gig with the spectrum router, should I get the spectrum router for the extra $10 a month or there a router that can get over a gig?
