Guys I am 25F and I have been talking to a guy ‘27M’ for about a month now, and turns out he had a girlfriend of about 5 year. And Its not like I read things wrong between us, although we haven’t met, we talked everyday, talks were usually sexual, I was the one who wanted to slow down a bit,I am not 100% sure but I am 80% sure that they are together. He hasn’t said me by himself I just have his gut from theor socials. Now there are few things I am confusero about, He doesn’t know that I have found out,
- should I just ignore him without telling anything, not giving privilege of knowing?
- should I confront him (idk what to say, although I want to say something) he is like that acting tough kind of a guy so idk what I do is going to bring a sense of regret?

So my doctors are always asking me things like when did your pain levels change? When did this new symptom start? How long did the flare up last? And i for the life of me, cannot keep track of any of that.
Does anyone have any reccomendations for an app i could use to take notes on fluctuating symptoms that they'd reccomend?
Maybe some kind of calendar adjacent app? Maybe I could just download a second calender app. Might not be ideal for organization though.

2025.01.23 04:00 Sea_Item3800 My mom acts drunk when she is tired. It really freaks me out and I don't know what do to Any advice?
I (16 female) and my mom (54 female) are super close. We are two peas in a pod. We laugh for hours and love the same tv shows and movies. She is the most giving selfless person i have ever met. But in the past 3 years something has been different. after around 8pm she starts forgetting stuff, repeating questions, slurring her speech and all around acts like a different person. And anytime I would ask her about it she would just say "Im tired thats all." At first we though it could be a sign of diabetes and unsafe glucose levels. But some doctors visits crossed that off the list. She then suspected that it was aa bad reaction to her anti depressants. But she has been off them for almost a year and nothing had changed. She is not a big drinker, only has a glass of wine now and again so I don't think its that. I have no idea whats causing this and it really is starting to scare me. I feel like i have to parent her and I feel like when she is like this I don't have a mentally stable adult to help me. (I also have an anaphylactic allergy so if something did happen while my dad was on a work trip i need someone to be able to call for help) Its like this almost every night. And its not just me that thinks this. My dad and sister have said the same. It just unsettling and i have cried after many weird interactions with her. Its like staring into the face of the person your love and trust more that anyone in this world; and although you know the face it feels like your talking to someone completely different. I have absolutely no idea what this could be. And at the end of the day i know that this can't be healthy for her either and i just want to know where to start helping. I went to my city hall to take care of important things given my complex current situation. There's a lot of high level and certain vocabulary used there.
I used an app dictionary about 2-3 times, but was able to address what I needed to say.
What JLPT level would you say going go city hall without a friend/coworkefamily member and using transition a few times?
I think N5 and N4, maybe N3, may have trouble explaining a complex situation in Japanese if they're at city hall taking care of things.

I’ll keep this short and brief because I’m not too sure if this post would be breaking the sub’s rules or whether. I’m just sharing my experiences with tackling this addiction and how I quit.
My Story: I started smoking (mainly carts) in May of last year. I was in a very bad mental state and I didn’t know what else to go to because therapy wasn’t working. At first it was fun, yea I had bad experiences here and there but overall I enjoyed getting high. Then in July after smoking a very fake cart, I developed depersonalization and derealization for most of the month. When I say that was the scariest point of my life I mean it. Nothing felt real, I didn’t feel real and I thought I was fucked for life but then it went away by the end of July. By late August I was smoking every single day, it did not mix well with my depression and I just felt like a zombie. By November I decided to finally put my foot down and stop smoking. I didn’t enjoy the mental and physical side effects and I knew I was upsetting my parents (they didn’t know yet). I failed and I didn’t stop until thanksgiving. Then mid December, my parents find out I was smoking weed due to me not being able to take a drug test and I just ended up explaining everything. They were understanding but they told me I should stop to not fuck with any opportunities I might have in the future. I was sober for most of December until Christmas where I had a short relapse period that lasted until new years. Now as of writing this it’s January 22 and I haven’t touched weed since.
What Helped Me Quit: Everyone must have a meaningful reason of why they want to stop smoking weed. Everyone has a different reason to quit. My main reason is that I actually do have a job opportunity waiting for me right after high school and they do drug test on hire and maybe some random ones. I’d rather be safe than sorry. I have other reasons as to why I’m quitting like for example my mental and physical health but the job opportunity is my biggest motivation to stay sober as of now. You must find a reason that means something to you. I still get cravings basically daily but my reason outweighs these cravings. I’d much rather have this probably once in a lifetime opportunity than sit in my parents house and smoke weed all day. Finding a reason isn’t hard, you could simply be quitting because you don’t wanna deal with the risks of health problems down the line. Sobriety isn’t something that is just done overnight, it’s a journey and relapsing is completely okay. What’s not okay is continuing to relapse and just hoping one day you’ll magically just quit. You have to put yourself in a quitting mindset and you have to prepare to make sacrifices. Another thing that helped me stay sober was just telling myself that weed was gone and wasn’t gonna be apart of my life anytime soon, once I accepted that it was a lot easier to suppress the cravings.
(TL;DR: Find a reason on why you want to quit that has an important meaning to you. Have the will to do what it takes to stay sober)
