For example the pharmaceutical industry. Recreational drugs are illegal because they can lead to addiction, health complications and crime. There are drugs with a low risk of addiction such as DMT that are illegal. But then there are drugs that are extremely addictive such as diazepam that can be life threatening (e.g stroke) to come off of. This is due to lobbying. Why is this corruption allowed?

I have 3 lobe piercings on each ear. The newest is over 2 years old and they're all healed well. I don't clean them as much as I should, and I'm trying to get better at that.
I don't wear the best quality jewelry, usually Claires because its affordable. When I do clean them sometimes there's dark gunk inside the piercings that a qtip can't always get out. I've seen these like piercing floss cleaner things, but I haven't seen the best reviews. Are those okay for thoroughly cleaning the inside of a piercing, and if not, what can I do instead?
