So every Tuesday and Friday I plan to pray to Hecate but if I’m not in a good mental state I’ll wait until I am. However my plan for prayer is to simply speak to Her, starting with the moon phase and what plants/contestations are viewable from where I am then what went down since the last prayer. Today was my (17f) birthday and I did get plenty of happy birthday messages from family members and I’m very grateful for them. However, I only got a few happy birthday messages from friends (around 3-4) and two of them I don’t talk to that often, and was honestly surprised that they knew/remembered that it was my birthday so that was sweet. But none of my best friends said anything to me, and two of them only said something after I made an indirect comment about it being today, even though I had made birthday comments to them throughout the past week and a half. I’ve known these people for around 13 years now, and am frustrated that they completely forgot even though I’m only eight days younger than one of them. My two other best friends didn’t send me or say anything to me. One best friend I’ve known since we were two. The other I’ve known since we were twelve (we’ll call her Ashley). Ashley can never remember my birthday, she always thinks it’s the day after my birthday and completely forgot last year. She sent me a text the day after saying “happy birthday” though, for whatever that’s worth. I usually remember birthdays really well, even if it’s someone who I haven’t talked to for a while I remember it, so maybe remembering birthdays is actually hard and I’m just being super critical? I had a great time with family today and really appreciated everyone who did say something to me, but the fact that some distant friends/acquaintances remembered my birthday but my best friends didn’t kinda hurt. AIO?

 | Trick style linkage shaft. Purchased off ali express for $80nzd delivered. I bought it so you dont have to. Quick review. Only buy this if you can't afford to save and purchacse quality made products or none are in supply. You will also require some machining tools or a friend to retrofit 2ndary connection screws and down size the gap. Extended review. While there are a few issues and I'll focus on the main one being the connection point to the pedal, the pedal does improve lag and fluidity in the slave pedal.... yet so does cleaning the old linkage bearings and saturating with oil. Swing difference was 18 to 26. I'm using a well kept 2nd hand pearl redline eliminator (3yrsold). Once you have done the leg work to get it functioning, depending on time, skill and availability you'll get a fluid improvement over your standard linkage for maybe half the price of the real thing. But more likely will cost the same as a trick model.... none in stock last time I looked. Tama has come to the market with their claim to having done what no one's has before. Let's see if they bring the prices down accross the board... highly unlikely. Issue 1: connection point. The pearl has a 8mm diameter thread with a flatend top. The aliexpress is 10mm circular and an has 1 vertical screw, the standard is 1 veryical,1 horizontal. Connecting is fiddly to position correctly as it keeps sliding when attempting to secure. When the pedal is in use the connection pivots horizontally, pushing the main or the slave pedals slightly up left and right on rotation. Adding aluminum strips from a soda can to shrink the gap helps a little and at least prevented the pedals shunting horizontally. They still pivot and there's no precision in the centering of the linkage and its fluidty. Issue 2: bearing casing. So there's a fine line between to tight or loose. Screws came finger tight and had a little play. Tightining ever so slightly gets rid of the play but but over do it and the bearings lose fluidity. The sweet spot also loosens over a few blasts.... so some thread paste will be required. As you can see in pictures I found this out later and can't find the missing Allen screws. Issue 3: durability. The aluminum alloy used is a bit on the soft side. The crossbar came heavily dented, as to my additions. S/S screws have the potential to thread the aluminum at some point, especially with the play in the thread. Issue 4... wasted resources. I've never understood the manufacturing of copies that side step patents by omitting functionality and creating land fill... even the name brands miscalculate as well (from my experiences and observations.) hi all i (f20) am coming here to ask for any advice or insight into my jaw pain... ill try to give as much detail as i can. TIA for your time and patience with me!
ive had issues with my jaw locking randomly since i was about 15, 16, which causes me to be unable to open my mouth as wide. it physically locks. about 3 weeks ago, it locked up while i was at the dentist, and they had to work around my jaw being barely open. i did overextend it to the point of pain in order to try to help them.
but this is less of a problem recently. recently, my jaw sometimes clicks, often when i open my mouth too wide, often on the right side.
currently, i dont have this problem because i cant open my mouth more than an inch between my lips without the left side HURTING. this pain is constant and hasnt stopped since about 3 weeks ago? it "isnt present" if i dont open/move my mouth, or i guess if i dont flex the muscle there (which would be the only way i can think of the pain occuring without my jaw moving or my teeth touching). and i just now (within the past 2, 3 days) noticed the right side of my jaw is bruised.
i had one tooth on my right side that was really sensitive 3 weeks ago and it was painful when i pressed my teeth together, but not when i pressed on the tooth with my finger or a smaller, sharper object. but it also sometimes hurt when i just. had my mouth slightly open. or sometimes my mouth was closed but teeth were not touching and still...
my guesses for reasons for left side pain - my wisdom tooth is growing sideways (according to my xrays). maybe it is pressing against my teeth? the "painful" tooth is the one that bears the pressure, similar to what happens when you get braces where there are just a few teeth that really bear the brunt of your teeth moving, despite you having brackets on all teeth.
- my nerve ending is too high up, according to my dentist. when he shaved down my filling on the Pain tooth, he said that the filling already is close to the end of my teeth, meaning that the pressure of his saw/blade on the filling would be applied to the tooth and thus the nerve. this explains the tooth pain but not the jaw pain then nor the jaw pain now.
- i dont wear my retainers so maybe that does something? i havent worn them for years now though, last i popped them in was 2023 or early 2024.
- i have been known to grind teeth, my cousin told me so years ago, and my roommate last year mentioned it too (Fall 2023). my roommate this year said i was sleep talking/yelling (which occurs every now and then), but she didnt hear grinding
- i am on zoloft (setraline)
- a slap could also bruise, but i shouldve felt that sooner, not days/weeks after
- maybe the pressure on left side is moving to right??? wtf??
- or like maybe because i cant chew/move left side, im hurting my right in my accidental overcompensation?? but that shouldnt be bruising??
- maybe my jaw is bruised bc i hit something without realizing?? maybe in my sleep????
