I was reading a webtoon and one of the character found out her friend actually liked her romantically and got close to her because he wanted to date her. She was mad and felt betrayed. The comments also agreed that it was betrayal and unforgivable creep behavior. This confused me.
If you realize you want to date someone, shouldn't you try to get to know them first? I mean if a random guy asked me out I would say no because he is a stranger. But, if its someone who I met through mutual friends and we spend time together in a social setting, I would say yes to a date. Don't you normally try to hang out with the person before you ask them out to see if your combatable?

I had put off watching the series Godless for years, as I generally have been disappointed by Westerns. But I gave in an started watching it, and it's good. Costumes good, settings good, dialog rings true, acting really good. And the horses!
But I keep being tripped up by where they say they are.
I am New Mexican, with connections to much of the state. I know that LaBelle is near Taos, up north, and Blackdom was in the southeast corner of the state. It just isn't possible to ride between them in a day. I'm also not sure that Blackdom founder was a Buffalo Soldier.
This otherwise terrific series is touted as one of the best Westerns, and it sure beats the heck out of most others. But I wonder if anyone can tell me why the movie messes up the map?

Last line of my console before my local host gives "disconnected to host" and forces me to quit to desktop.
To clarify, I host up the local, set all the traits, set the clothing, and then when I hit play I got to the black screen. I hear the typical start up music, but then the screen does a hyper quick "glitch" or something and the application stops responding if I click the black screen. Eventually, it tells me "connection to host lost" and forces me to quit to desktop.
I'm not on unstable, I'm on the latest B41 stable using only B41 mods or mods that are B41/B42 hybrid.

Last year, I went through a big period of being alone. I didn't have a lot of friends and had absolutely no motivation in life. I was pretty depressed, and really bad at hiding it. This year, I ended up surrounded by people, yet I still feel as lonely as last year. It might be because my friend group is chaos, or it may not. For context, everyone hates everyone, except a few people. Two people got reported to the police (one was a probably false accusation over harassment, and the other was a Democrat vs Republican fight). Yes, I know this is probably a very toxic friend group, but they are all I have for people my age. I struggle to interact with people and have been told I have social anxiety as well, so if I left them, I would be all alone. I do enjoy their company when they are alone, however, we usually only interact in groups, and I cannot handle them anymore.
So the question I am asking is, should I leave them and be alone and lonely, or is it better for me to stay and be lonely while surrounded by people? Do I suck it up and hide how I feel about them, just so I can be around people, or do I let go and end up all by myself again?

Curious if anyone has an autoimmune disorder or systemic inflammation who has gotten a cortisone injection for their DQ and if it helped? It's been explained to me that DQ is local tendonitis and if you have systemic inflammation the cortisone shot is not very effective as your body is sending the white blood cells to other areas of the body rather than the localized area. Anyone have a similar experience?
