Curious if anyone else experiences this. My husband does his Enbrel injections once a week and the evening of the injection he feels much colder, not like he has the chills, just feels like he needs to bundle up, hands and feet are noticeably cold as well. Not sure if this is just from the reduction of inflammation but curious if anyone else experienced this. By the next day he is typically back to normal

2025.01.23 05:00 nuggles00 Does anyone here own an Audi A4 Allroad? I really want to save up and buy a certified Allroad sometime later this year. Do they drive more like a sedan? I really want that connected feeling, I had a Hyundai crossover before and I hated the floatiness on the interstate omg.
Hello everyone! I'm looking into buying a used, but no more than a couple years old Allroad sometime later this year I've narrowed the choice down to this beautiful Mom wagon, I plan on adopting one day and I want something that drives like a car, something that's low to the ground and gets great gas mileage and a wagon has great storage.
The typical options like the Subaru outback didn't interest me because it's just too large for my liking and Subarus infotainment screen is pretty laggy and the Volvo V60 seems like it would be more expensive as less mechanics have the parts or know how to work on them and they are very expensive, even certified pre owned ones. I just want something lower to the ground than a typical crossover or SUV and the long nature of wagons mean plenty of room for groceries and other things, also I don't want to have to heft heavy items into an SUV because the loading gate is wayy too high, so a station wagon makes more sense again and the Allroad is AWD which I am also looking for.
Can someone on here share their experiences with owning an Allroad?

2025.01.23 05:00 Theorpo I Remastered a Billy Joel concert from last year from crowd video.
So I went to the concert at the Alamodome in San Antonio on October 25th 2024. I had videos of all the songs besides the last 3 that were played. As someone who last year had The Police as my #2 and Billy as my #1. There was no way that wasn't going to be my best memory made that year, and I would be lying if I said it was not. Luckily for me a person on YouTube named Patrick Zapata (@ on YouTube is @PatrickZapataFilmmaker) and they uploaded the entire concert, Both Billy & Sting. And I've honestly probably played through both videos at least 8-10 times, Probably more. But I realized that with Earbuds on, the natural issues that comes with recording a concert, especially with how close in proximity they were to the stage, become apparent. Too much bass, some things overlap each other through echo a little more than you may like, crowd noise getting in the way. And so I thought to myself, no ones going to care enough about this concert that happened in October 2024 to upload crystal clear audio footage now, or make it that way for a matter, so I did it myself. For reference, I've never used Adobe Audition before this, my time was split between Adobe Audition and Audacity which I'm an alright amount familar this was a test of myself to see how well I could do something like remastering concert footage taken presumably from a smart phone, and just so I can listen to this concert more lol. And I'd thought I'd share here if anyone wanted something like that too!

I hope to in the future, if I'm determined enough. Improve 2 things about the remaster. 1. The audio is a little quiet, stuff was being finicky. But I figured something out, it's just a little quiet in return. 2. There's still parts where you can hear some unwanted crowd talk. It's obviously not as common as in the original recording, but it irks me personally that it's there
P.S. I don't really know what flair to use, I was torn between Image/Video & Cover. But even though it's not technically a Cover, it fits better than Image & video in my mind.

(please excuse the structure and typos of this, I'm on mobile)
So let's say there's a distant civilization somewhere out there that live for thousands of earth years but because their planet orbits their sun alot slower than ours it would only be 75 years or so for them. Since time is realitive, would they perceive time alot faster than we would? For example would they sound like they're talking extremely fast as we would sound like we're talking in slow motion to them? Same with movement. Would a normal walking pace for them look like a dead sprint to us? I'm finding it hard to explain exactly what i've been pondering. I know certain species on Earth perceive time a lot slower or faster compared to us humans. But that fact and a youtube video about advanced civilization and the Kardashev scale has got me wondering about this recently. But I hope you guys get what I'm trying say. I'm really not good at putting words to my thoughts. Lol. I'm just curious what someone else's thoughts on this subject might be. So please help me get a discussion going as I'm very intrigued in what someone else has to say on this subject.

I (37M) am a single dad with two kids (16M & 14M). I met my GF (32F) back in February. We dated casually and non-exclusively until September and then began dating exclusively. My GF has indicated that she wants to have kids, she has no kids currently. I am definitely open to that, but have told her only after dating at least a couple of years.
I have been looking to buy a new home. I absolutely hate living where I am living. I bought it when my kids were little and it was convenient then. But, my work is 30 minutes away and the boys' school is 45 minutes away. A house came on the market in a neighborhood 5 minutes from work and 10-15 minutes from the boys' school, and was listed well below market value. My realtor called me, I saw it that same day, and made an offer. The offer was accepted.
I told my GF the good news. She was less than thrilled. She asked why I did not "consult" her. I have been looking for about a year and the reality is houses go quickly. Often, not even on the market for a day if reasonably priced. I had to move quickly. I explained all this, but she is still upset.
I talked to my sister (34F) about this. She says she gets her frustration. My sister said that she was in the same position two years ago, she was a single woman in her early 30s looking to get married and have kids soon. In that two years, she met her husband, got married, and had a kid. So, from her perspective, my GF is thinking that this is the home her kids are potentially going to be raised in. I can see that, but I feel that it is a little premature to expect I will consult my GF of 4 months before buying a home. That is moving a little too fast from my perspective.

OOP: She knew I was looking to buy. I have seen multiple houses since we started dating. Sometimes she has been with me, and therefore seen it, but other times she has not. I got the call, saw the house within an hour of the call, and immediately made an offer. It got accepted the next day.
Downvoted Commenter: YTA for thinking about having more kids when you’ll be almost 40 and the kids you have are already 16 and 14. That would make them at least 18 and 16 years older than any potential future child. That will be awful for them and very disruptive. Please think about prioritizing the children you already have and what kind of impact you would have on their life if you did that.
OOP: My dad was 43 when I was born and 46 when my sister was born. He was with us every step of the way through our childhood. It was wonderful.

I posted a month ago and really haven't had a chance to stop and have a heart-to-heart conversation with my GF. I have been dealing with the holidays (and all that comes with that with two kids, family commitments, kids being out of school, travel, etc.), going through everything to close on the house, getting my house in shape to put on the market, then my oldest got sick, my youngest got sick, and then I got sick. We finally were able to basically set aside a day on Sunday for just the two of us to go really in depth.
First, she apologized for how she handled the news of the house. She agrees that she was being too hasty. But, then she explained why she is this way. For three years, she has been looking for a guy who is: (1) single, (2) faithful, (3) without any major vices, (4) decent looking, (5) financially stable enough to support a kid, and (6) not too old to have another child. She has said, finding a guy who meets those criteria, and is willing to commit to a woman in her late 20s/early 30s (as compared to a woman in her early to mid 20s) is like finding a "damn unicorn." She says she feels in uncharted territory and sometimes does not know how to respond appropriately. But, she wants us to move at whatever pace I feel comfortable. She recognizes I need to prioritize the boys above all else, including potential future kids with her.
Second, I showed her the house and she seems to love it. She said it reminded her of her grandparents' house. She showed me some photos from before her grandparents sold their house and there are some similarities.
Third, we are still dating, but moving at my pace. I am keeping my eyes wide open here.
