"Cada cabeza es un mundo", a todos nos escupen esa frase durante nuestra vida, pero uno no se da cuenta de cuan real es hasta que lo golpea directo en la cara.
Mi mejor amigo y yo crecimos juntos, no exagero al decir que en mi mente no hay memoria de haberlo conocido, el siempre ah estado allí, por eso mismo siempre lo eh visto como un hermano. Siempre estuvimos juntos, siempre uña y mugre, siempre un equipo.
Al salir de la secundaria, nuestras vidas se separaron, aunque aun en contacto gracias a que somos vecinos, un día como cualquier otro me invito a una maratón, me pareció bien debido a que siempre nos gusto correr a ambos, incluso nuestra secundaria realizaba maratones anuales y nosotros siempre quedábamos en los primeros lugares. Comencé a prepararme saliendo a trotar a diario, hasta que un día me tope con el, trotamos juntos y al terminar nos sentamos en la banca de un parque para ponernos al día. Fue allí cuando ocurrió...
"Sabes... Quiero que te tomes esto enserio" Escupió de un momento a otro, sin previo aviso. "Esfuérzate lo mas que puedas en intentar vencerme"
No era raro escucharlo decir cosas así, el siempre ah sido el sujeto mas competitivo que conozco, pero aun así había algo raro en esto, esta vez era diferente.
"Es una maratón, no una carrera, relájate." Dije algo así, no lo pensé mucho.
El soltó una risa por lo bajo. "Pues tómatelo como una carrera"
Todo eso me estaba pareciendo extraño, pero antes de poder cortar toda la tensión eh irme de allí, el continuo...
"¿Recuerdas la ultima maratón que hicimos en la secundaria? ¿Recuerdas que me dijiste cuando me ganaste por apenas un par de segundos?... Por poco... Esas fueron tus palabras."
En ese punto tenia mas curiosidad por ver a que quería llegar con todo eso que me parecía un berrinche que intentar recordar aquel momento. "¿Y? ¿Me guardaste rencor por un vez que te gane?" Salió de mi con mas hostilidad de la que quería, pero no pude evitarlo, había algo en el ambiente que me hacia estar a la defensiva.
El guardo silencio por un momento, y después hablo. "¿Cuando fue la ultima vez que te vencí en algo?"
Estuve por contestar, pero no pude, no lo recordaba, incluso ahora mientras escribo esto soy incapaz de recordar alguna vez en la que el me supero en algo.
"Sabes lo que es vivir a la sombra de alguien? Matarme estudiando para sacar un 9 y tu relajado con tu 10, Salir a correr cada mañana solo para poderte seguir el ritmo durante un partido, Tener que practicar mil veces un truco que a ti te salió al segundo intento... "
Esa maratón, no tienes idea de cuanto me prepare para ella, meses practicando la ruta, meses saliendo a correr a diario hasta acabar vomitando por el cansancio... Tenia el tiempo cronometrado, 22 minutos con 30 segundos de media. Ese día reduje mi tiempo por casi un minuto, y aun así me venciste...
Lo que para ti fue "Por poco", para mi era un mundo, me tomo dos meses mas de entrenamiento superar ese tiempo. Así de grande era la distancia que tu denominabas poco...
Genética... Talento... Da igual, la conclusión era la misma, lo único que nos diferenciaba era la suerte, tu me vencías por mero capricho divino, lo único que te volvía superior era la arbitraria decisión de un dios cuya existencia niegas ante la propia ignorancia de tu fortuna."
Sentía como cada palabra que salía de su boca se grababa a fuego en mi memoria, esto estaba lejos de ser un berrinche, no sabia muy bien porque, pero sabia que tenia que recordar esto, es fecha que no pase día en el que no piense en sus palabras.
"Estuve por rendirme, conformarme con el segundo lugar... Pero no pude, me negué a aceptar que mi limite estaba definido desde mi nacimiento... Y entonces lo entendí, no había sufrido lo suficiente para poder vencerte... Si la genética y el talento son el regalo divino que dios te ha dado entonces el de los desgraciados como yo es nuestra propia mediocridad, es en nuestras carencias donde se halla la bendición"
"De que mierda hablas puto loco?" Dije mientras me levantaba dispuesto a irme. Hoy, meses después, soy capaz de ver el peso de sus palabras, pero en ese momento, no pude evitar sentirme atacado.

Me reí, aunque me avergüenza admitirlo, no hice mas que reír. "Claro que vas a correr mas rápido que yo, si has estado traumado con eso por años claro que serás mas rápido que yo, Que vas a probar venciendo a alguien que ni siquiera sabia que esto era una competencia?"

Me largue, pensé que estaba loco, pero algo había en sus palabras, algo que calaba en mi, en mi orgullo. Minimizar todo lo que había conseguido clasificándolo como "Talento", hablar con esa superioridad, como si yo no supiera lo que era esforzarme por algo... Y lo decidí, iba a ir a esa maratón y le iba a ganar.
Entrene los meses que faltaron como nunca lo había echo, nunca había dejado de trotar así que jamás perdí condición, jamás me había preparado tanto para algo, pero me sentía seguro, ya había echo el recorrido y superaba el récord del año anterior por mas de un minuto.
El día llego, y perdí, di lo mejor que pude, vomite al terminar, y aun así no fue suficiente. Su rostro... el rostro del que por años fue mi mejor amigo al ver como llegue después que el... jamás había visto a alguien tan aliviado por algo.
Necesitaba sacar esto, no se porque, pero así lo sentí.
Fui el villano en la vida de mi mejor amigo, y al final perdí.

I've noticed a real lack of black characters having black Love interest in cartoons. And it started because I was thinking about Gerald from hey Arnold and thought to myself, are there any black child female characters in hey Arnold.
And then I thought about all the interactial couples in cartoon. Which isn't bad BTW, but it seems like there's this pattern where the main black characters love interest tend to be non black.
So What are some noticeable black couples in cartoons
I know the proud family has some.
I think Static had one in static shock, but I don't know if she's meant to be black or not.
There's also Bumblebee in young justice whose boyfriend was black.
I guess you can add Token
But those are the only two that comes to mind
I think John Stewart had one before he went back to hawk girl in justice league
But for the most part, especially recently, black characters tend to have non black love interest.
I'm only speaking about cartoons. And not the parents of the characters. I know some people will add Craig's parents from Craig of the creek, while ignoring that Craig and Bernard don't have black love interest.

A few months ago i was going through my unsaved numbers and came across a number i thought was familiar. i sent a simple text “hey who is this i don’t have you saved as a contact” she responded immediately.
i first saw her in the beginning of my sophomore year of high school. i was 15 and she was 14 and a grade below me. she was the prettiest girl i had ever seen, so naturally i didn’t say anything because i had no chance.
A few months later im sitting in a field waiting for a pep rally to start and she walks up to me and calls me a “stupid idiot”. i can’t make this up lmao. apparently i did something to annoy one of her friends, somehow i recovered that situation and we started talking.
we had a lot in common we shared the same music taste, we liked the same movies and books, we had similar goals, she rowed and i sailed, we started texting, she was ambitious, and funny, so funny. she was smart and pretty and her laugh would melt my heart. we started hanging out before classes and then at lunch and then on the docks before sports.
eventually we where inseparable and i asked her to be my girlfriend, she said yes! we spent every second awake together. we would fall asleep on facetime every night
There is so much i want to put here. her birthday, cheering for each other at regattas, our first kiss, walking around her neighborhood, prom (she was stunning), so much more but i want those to stay fond memories in my head.
anyways after 4-5ish months of dating school ended and i went on vacation. i told her a lie and she dumped me, rightfully so. we kept texting for about 2 months after, i don’t think either of us was ready to let go. eventually one of us blocked the other one.
i’m 19 now, she’s 17. she is going to collage in a few months, and i’m off to bootcamp by the end of the month. we clearly will never be together again, but i can’t get her out of my head. she is all i think about. i know the version of her i have in my head is who she was 3 years ago, and i know she’s grown and is no longer the same person, shit im not the same person either. we are not love drunk teens anymore but i still can’t get her out of my head

If you take breakup in a positive way. And forgiving your ex for whatever they have put you through. And by forgiving I don't mean your forgive them and go back to them begging for attention and be ok with whatever put you through. By forgiving I mean let not that hatred of them pull you into depression, self sabotaging and limerence and make your life hell. Releasing that hate energy also called as forgiving is liberating. I know its hard but with persistence, patience and immense self - belief you will get there. Nuff said.

Or maybe a shop keeper who usually has around c.25,000 only had c.18,000 when you went to sell your stuff to them. What gives? Traders (Who have "is trader=True") who own a building with containers which can store their supply have their min/max stock total based off their "vendor fill total amount" value in fcs. Unless I am forgetting one... All shops in base game have \"trader=True\". Some caravans like the Trader's Guild ones and Holy Nation Caravans do not. Thier stock is determined differently than traders. The vendor will have between 0.8x to 1.2x whatever "vendor fill total amount" is set to. At least, provided the vendor can actually store the items in their containers. The 32 to 48 items scenario I mentioned above was just using the minimum and maximum items the Armour King will have for sale. *Discovered this by modding a shop to have 1,000 as their fill total amount (And made them all stack so there was enough room as well as a 0.1 refresh time...) and they never went below 800 or above 1,200 items. **Items not spawned through the vendor list, such as special items (Like, "The Pacifier: Guidance For A Troublemaker" item which is sold in the Hub bar) and Artifacts (Like the 3 weapons the Armour King has for sale in base game) do not take away from this total. If you want to see an amazing shop, go hit up the General Shops owned by the Trader's Guild in The Great Desert. Their fill total amount is 400, meaning they can have between 320 to 480 items... With a 12 hour refresh time. A below average stock. Now what about the money? If a vendor has a "vendor money" value, they seem to get between 0.6x to 1.4x of the amount put in. *Discovered this by modding the "vendor money" value of a shopkeeper to be 100,000 and their refresh time to 0.1. Then I just spammed arrange when outside of their shop and they never went below c.60,000 or above c.140,000. That being said though as far as I know no NPC has this value at anything other than 0 in base game. I just wanted to mention to help out any modders out there. SO! Instead, the money the vendor has is determined by the value of their stock! The total cats they will have is equal to 25% of what their stock is worth plus between 0 to 125. This has a cap of c.25,000. Also, if the total is not over 3,000, they will just have c3,000. *Discovered this by yet again modding a shopkeeper to have a refresh time of 0.1 and set the vendor to have one AI core. The result was the vendor having between c.6,250 to c.6,374. When they were changed to have an AI Core and an Ancient Science book I recorded values ranging from 7,501 to 7,625. In other words, if the vendor stocks up on expensive stuff, they will have a lot of money as well, if they stock is worthless... Well, they will be broke. I have a picture but it’s not clear at all and I can’t get a full pic of her tooth. I’ve been keeping an eye on her tooth every now and then as we don’t have a dentist where I live. Anyways I just noticed that the cavity part appears to have went away but now it’s pink. I’m not sure what to do since our clinic is closed until morning (we have an appointment for an issue unrelated), is this urgent? I’m a first time mom and never knew a tooth can turn pink and look like part of it is gone? Ok so look I just got the car I’ve always wanted a 330i couldn’t get my hands on a 330i but I did on the xi right awd pretty fun it’s growing on me would love a manual rwd buttttt its ok ok I will live lol but my question here today is ik its gonna be tricky to trans swap im not looking to do it rn I wanna learn the car more and then go for it but for say I go buy a 06 330xi manual transmission out of another car would I more or less just be able to swap out the transmission a little easier then like trying to find a different transmission that’ll fit into the car and fit up with the awd set up bc that’s the only thing I heard people had issues with was sourcing parts to make the awd work nicely I don’t wanna stress the car out but or hey if anyone knows of a better trans to match with the nice n52 engine in it I’d love to hear and if u have any tips with that pass them along just trying to learn as much as I can
