2025.01.23 04:57 number43marylennox Quick question on behalf of my MIL - are you laying on your back during a PET scan? She struggled horribly during the MRI because of the position and the pain that it caused (hiatal hernia on top of the sternum pain). Thank you!
I can find lots of videos of the scan, but I'm not sure if breast cancer PET scans are different specifically like the MRI was. I've also searched this forum but didn't see anything specific either, and I'm hoping because it's a non-issue for most patients. Thank you for reading!

 | Kind of a noob and have been lurking around this sub for a bit. Wanted to challenge myself as Etruria. saw that Rome was at war with the samnites and decided to push my luck and attack them. Hired some mercenaries and proceeded to sack rome and the other cities in Latium. They sent some of their levies up to me but I guess Samnium was more important. I ended up just occupying everything without much of fight. In the peace deal I took latium and gave Campania to the Samnites and made them release 2 of the 4 vassels which left them with only 2 holdings in the mountains to be taken later. After that I went on a conquering spree to get to my current map. I don’t even recognize myself anymore. Before moving to Canada a few years ago, I was outgoing, confident, and loved meeting new people. I felt comfortable in social situations and enjoyed making connections. But now, I’ve stopped talking to anyone because I just don’t see the point anymore. When I first arrived, I was so excited. People here seemed so friendly, and I thought making friends would be easy. But after trying, it feels like everything is just so fake. People are friendly at first, but eventually, they either ghost me or fade away. Lately, with the rise of anti-immigration sentiment in Canada, I’ve started to notice more and more that some people flat-out don’t like me just because I’m an immigrant. I’ve become more isolated and unsure of where I fit in. I’ve stopped making an effort because it feels like there’s no point. I can’t help but feel like I’ve lost the part of myself that used to love connecting with others. Now, I’m just someone who avoids interactions because I don’t want to deal with the rejection anymore.
