2025.01.23 05:09 Gastonium I will struggle on. Until death, every defeat is only psychological, every challenge is to be endured and defeated. But as I push on, I wonder what a "normal" life without all these difficulties could have been.
I was born to two abusive, mentally ill parents who took me away from the rest of my family, to another country, before I had even turned a year old. Not like they had an option either, my father never finished secondary school and has pretty severe paranoid schizophrenia he refuses to get treatment for so nobody would hire him in Poland, we were lucky he managed to find work in the UK all those years ago. My mother has BPD and growing up with her was emotional hell and permanently damaged me emotionally because of how badly she fucked me up during my formative years. I was sexually abused by multiple people throughout my childhood including a babysitter who would use the fear of God my father hammered into me to keep me quiet, she'd tell me if I every told my mother about what she did to me Ind go to hell. I got diagnosed with PTSD from it, in March of 2024.
In 2024 I flew back to Poland seeking an ADHD diagnosis because I'm unable to focus on anything but found out that I'm very unlikely to have the issue, which just means that it's not some undiagnosed mental illness and my facial disability is yet again to blame for ruining my life. I have a very fucked up jaw, I have a few posts about it, and I've lived my entire life struggling to breathe, speak, sleep, eat, learn, everything is just fucked by it because not only is it awful to look at but it's a medical issue which causes me constant physical pain and soreness and the discomfort is constantly messing with me and I can't even properly study with this pain. I passed school because of COVID and managed to wing my A-Levels with extra exam time because if an autism diagnosis but holy shit I used to be such a talented kid before this happened why did this have to happen to me? I don't know what caused it but if I can really recall anything from when I was small I had my head stomped on a few times by a huge guy and when I kept telling my parents about it they ignored me for years until suffering has just become what normality is to me.
I am also transgender, no only do I need to deal with everything already but I have the added weight of gender dysphoria on top and the fact the NHS have already fucked me over constantly by ignoring my jaw and the wait list for HRT can take well over a decade. I've resorted to getting hormones through unofficial means so I can at least begin transitioning medically and this makes me happy but Jesus Christ I just wonder what I did in my past lives to have all of this shit come together in this lifetime and dance Hell's conga circle. And yet, I live on, I refuse to give up. I was born into hell but this hell will not claim me, I will fight until my last breath so that some day somebody who knows a fraction of this pain can look upon me and see and hear my story and they will then know that they are not at fault for the way they are and that they are not alone and that this is all real.
Until the end, I fight on.
But seriously, holy shit, man. Life needs to let me catch a break for once.

i have probably donated around 250 coins to my donation machine and i understand i unlock more items and upgrades the more money i donate, but if i blow up the machine to get more money in a run, will it deplete from my total money donated? the number goes down on the counter but i dont know if the game will actually save how much i’ve donated or not, like if i’ve donated 879 in total but have blown it up so much it only says 300, will i still unlock holy mantle???
