2025.01.23 05:09 LocoDiablos getting one shot by bloodhound?
my armor is all the way at 750 physical and energy, i also have auto stim equipped on a few pieces and the auto stim perk.
I'm not sure why I'm getting one shotted when I'm so tanky already, do i need to add stuff like reflective and tanky to my build?

For context I’m 16 and live with my mom, my parents are divorced and I refuse to go to my dads because he’s the most childish and selfish person on earth. But anyways I had been sick and throwing up everything I eat and I went to the doctor and he said I’d lost 30 pounds, for reference I’ve always been pretty fat about 250 pounds and I was down to 220, so whenever I stopped throwing up I thought that maybe if I stopped eating still then I’d lose even more and I have, but my mom went through my phone and found stuff about how to make it look like your eating when your not and stuff like that and she’s worried and it’s awful, she’s making me go to the doctor and I don’t need to, I’m a big guy so I can coast off body fat until I’m happy. And then there’s the overprotectiveness and helicopter parenting, I can’t hang out with anyone she doesn’t know explicitly, she made me sit in the house while she questioned one of my friends for like twenty minutes about if they were a safe driver and it was embarrassing and going to my dads isn’t a option because as annoying and embarrassing as my moms being I hate him and love her and I’ve been hiding a talking stage with a girl I think I’m already in love with and this is all just a big rant and I just needed to get it out, thanks for actually taking the time to read about my problems if you read all the way through and sorry for wasting your time

Hello! I was wondering if anyone had kids during fam med residency and how difficult Was it and would you recommend waiting? The reason I’m asking is because so many people tell me the best time to have kids is in residency (and I know it’s super hard but to someone who values family I really wouldn’t want to wait) but also so many people say delay it at least to PGY3. Has anyone gone through this and do you have any advice?

2025.01.23 05:09 Itchy-Investment-999 I was gonna get adopted but now I don’t think I want to.
My stepdad and my mom have been together for years and he’s been a father figure to me ever since my actual father decided he didn’t want to father me anymore, so around christmas time it was me and my mom sitting on the couch and I talked to her about getting adopted by him because it’s been something that he’d wanted to do and I had got to thinking and was like you know what? Fuck it! Well, he recently started the process for adoption but the other night my stepdad and mom got into a fight, but this wasn’t any fight this was a fight due to my mom finding out he cheated; this isn’t the first time I’ve heard them arguing like this and I’m sure this isn’t going to be the last time either, but this time it was bad. He sent a women $1K for God knows what and my mom was going off on him and they got into it bad, my mom even swung their bedroom door open so hard that she put a hole in the wall. This isn’t the first time he has cheated on her and I don’t know what to say, like do I tell them I don’t want to do it anymore? What if they ask why what am I gonna say? They don’t know I was up (at least I don’t think). I’m really lost and now I really don’t want to get adopted by him because of this. It doesn’t only affect my mom but also me too, ESPECIALLY the way I’m viewing him now. The house doesn’t feel the same either i can just feel the anger and see the sadness in my mom and It’s really hard to look at her and not cry for her. What do I do??

2025.01.23 05:09 Mallow64 What level do you beat final boss?
This is related to skill points. In DQ 11, I actually fought the final boss at level 99. The game was just that long so it just naturally happened. Because of that, you are able to almost finish everyone’s skill tree and don’t have to worry much about picking the best skills.
However, I have been going through the other games and level 99 is the exception. I played 3,4,5,6, and 7 so far. All these games I finished around level 40.
If DQ8 ends around level 40, that means I’m not going to finish the skill trees. I looked up various guides and they are mostly min-maxing garbage expecting me to be level 99.
What level is the normal to beat this game? If it is level 40, I’m going to pretty much have to focus on one main weapon with each character at minimal.
What do you guys think?

I’ve had many knifes in the past, such as a Butterfly, Karambit, Flip, Classic… almost every one, except for like 3 or 4
I just bought a Bowie Bright Water with the Polygon Gloves to do a cheap clean combo, and God, those are incredible
Obviously, Karambit, Butterfly and M9 are still my tier S, but Bowie is a good tier A, minimum tier B if you’re strict. It has some really good skins, like Doppler, case hardened… and nice animations
With that, Flip is overrated. That was my first knife and the blade looks clean as hell, but there’s just NO animations, what makes it really boring with time Shadow Daggers are a B, maybe going to A for me. Yea, they are pretty small, but the double knife style, great animations and skins makes them awesome, one of the bests for a cheap first knife Also, or me, Talon is Tier A too, nice knife, I think everyone agrees with that

Hey everyone! I'm a high school senior taking the AP research class, and if you don't know what the class is, we design and carry out a year-long study and then write a report on it. I chose to study how binaural beats affect tic frequency in adults with Tourette Syndrome! This study is completely remote; participants just take around 30 minutes on one day to listen to a 20 minute audio with over-ear headphones, while filming a full body video of themselves. Then, they answer a follow up survey, and do the exact same thing one more day, a week later. It's super simple, and all you need in order to participate is over - ear headphones, an electronic other than your phone like a tablet or laptop, a TS diagnosis, and to be over the age of 18 and under the age of 25.
