Recently, I ordered two items from a restaurant via Swiggy—let’s call them Item A and Item B. The restaurant accepted my order, but shortly after, I got a call from them saying Item B was out of stock. They suggested I cancel the order entirely.
I told them canceling from my end wasn’t an option, as I’d lose the entire order. I asked them to cancel Item B on their side instead, but they claimed it wasn’t possible. I finally asked them to proceed with just Item A, and I’d raise the issue of Item B with Swiggy’s customer support.
The restaurant agreed, and I immediately reached out to Swiggy’s support team. The executive I spoke with confirmed the restaurant’s claim and assured me that a full refund for Item B would be processed. I was satisfied—until I realized no refund was actually initiated.
What followed was three hours of back-and-forth with six different customer care executives, all of whom failed to provide a satisfactory resolution. I was asked to email Swiggy support, which I did, but that also went nowhere. One executive simply said they were “sorry” and moved on.
I have chat screenshots showing where an executive admitted Swiggy’s mistake and promised a refund. Yet, nothing has been done to honor that promise.
What should I expect from such a large company with abysmal customer service? Is it acceptable for a platform like Swiggy to leave customers in the lurch, forcing us to chase them for refunds they themselves acknowledged are due?
At this point, it feels like I’ve been scammed. Should I consider legal action against them for this blatant lack of accountability?

I broke with my now ex about 2 months ago .
I had no idea she was using drugs at all for the entire 10 months we lived together . I broke up with her because she was lying about where she was going and who she was meeting and what she was doing .
But only the final hour of the final day did I discover she was addicted to fentanyl.
She has repeatedly begged and pleaded with me that she's never lied to me , never done anything wrong , and is very hurt by my "accusations ".
She did so much to cover her tracks though . Was very shady with her phone , and changed the name of who she got the beans from within minutes of me confronting her .
A recovered addict friend of mine claims it's possible for her to believe her own lies and my ex really doesn't think she ever lied to me .
I'm having trouble getting my head around this idea. If she went through so much effort to hide things from me , she must know what she did otherwise why and how hide it ?
Please help me understand.
I'm just so confused because I had no idea at all. I thought the restless legs syndrome was just a medical problem she was suffering from, along with the nausea, migraines, stomach pains . Nodding out I thought she was just exhausted from work .
I was so naive .

Basically, if I have a valid passport in my old name, international travel booked next week, and an appointment at a passport agency, can I go in person to expedite getting a reissued passport with my new name using form DS-5504? Or will they only process an expedited new passport if the current one is lost?
The situation is that I'm a transgender man (one of the many worried hordes), and my name change just went through. The gender on my passport has been changed to M for many years now, and I just renewed it a few months ago. I'm now terrified that if I change the name, they'll revert it to F, and my passport will be unusable for me.
When the EO came down I panicked, booked refundable international travel, and snagged a passport agency appointment. And then I realized I don't even know if they'll honor an appointment for that reason since technically my passport is still valid?
If I were to lose my passport and need to go through that process instead, I'd be differently worried because my birth certificate isn't updated yet and would flag a mismatch.

Hey there,
I’m looking for someone who’d be interested in doing a longterm slice of life rp.
When it comes to scene’s i’m open for quiet alot, when writing this message i don’t have any particular ideas yet, so i’m up for some brainstorming or hear out any potential ideas you might have for a scene.
I prefer to play realistically, so people looking for more fantasy story’s, might wanne look elsewhere, although i had some ideas that involve a small amount of fantasy, but those are linked to a very particular scene, one i’m more then happy to explain should it interests you.
For replies, i don’t expect a 5+ paragraph anwser every single time, i do ask that details are included to easier visualize what’s going on in the story in that particular moment, for me a reply only needs to contain what i need to continue the story properly
When it comes to reply time, i’m not very fussy about it, we both have a life outside of this, so i just prefer to say, reply when you can, this is a longterm after all, so we have the time, the only reason i might say something is if for example you need to be away and can’t reply in like more then a day, but other then that, i’m good.

Just wanted to share that I just finished my 20th Barry's class having just started 1.5 months ago. Just went to the doctor's office today, and doc and I were both pleasantly surprised that my blood pressure lowered! It went from 132/68 back in September to now 109/73. The biggest change in my life has been Barry's (and I have been trying to eat better, but you know, holidays and all). I'm awaiting my blood test results to see if all the cholesterol, triglycerides, and A1c have lowered - will post an update once I get those results. Loving Barry's in my mid-40s!
