Almost everywhere tells you to be in a calorie deficit to lose weight and whatnot, but how much does it really matter WHAT you eat? I ask specifically because I’m broke and a lot of what I eat is definitely not fresh meat, fruits, or vegetables. For example, today I had two bean and cheese tacos, Zero Sugar Pepsi, two Zero Sugar Gatorades, water, and a bologna sandwich. This is pretty accurate to what I consume everyday. I consume 1000 calories, more or less. I know it’s not the most healthy but I’m wondering if this will actually significantly hinder my weight loss/muscle growth progress.

This is the longest I’ve gone.
The biggest change I’ve noticed is that my eye contact with others stays locked in. However, my energy has been low, likely because of doomscrolling, staying indoors, lack of movement, and no meditation. I eat well—carnivore whenever I can—but it’s clear I need to make some adjustments.
Next steps: I’ll focus on reducing internet use, increasing daily movement, and getting outside more often. I’ll hold off on starting meditation for now but plan to add it later.
As for my partner, she’s been incredibly supportive, and our intimacy has been amazing. She really enjoys it, probably because in the past, my affection and attention would drop off after I orgasmed. Now, it’s consistent before, during, and after, which has strengthened our connection.

The ending was not great, it feels realistic which i’ll give it props for. The ending felt empty if you get me? No conclusion, no hinting at a conclusion, killed off probably the best character who kept the show going in the last 15 minutes of the final ep. I get it she dug her grave by killing two cartel members but c’mon. I wanted one of the Byrds to die so Marty could finally get his hands dirty. Jonah killing Mel felt bizarre. I know the director said he didn’t want to drag it out too long but it 100% needed a 5th season. It’s not the worst ending of a TV show but it’s up there with the Sopranos for sure.

Allá por los primeros años (2006-2008) leí un cuento en la biblioteca que nunca más encontré.
El cuento estaba dentro de un libro de antologías; la portada del libro era negra, roja y creo que tenía un esqueletito o algo similar.
Respecto al cuento:
Era de una página o dos, muy corto.
Iba de algo así: "Empezó comiéndose las uñas, siguió con los dedos, luego las manos ..."
Y terminaba en "y cuando se miró al espejo ya no estaba".
Nunca lo pude encontrar y es una espinita en mi corazón.
(Ya googleé de mil maneras y busqué con ChatGPT pero no encuentro).

 | Hi guys, after doing a lot of research it seems like my maxilla is very recessed and my lower jaw is pushed back. I’ve had difficulty breathing through my nose for decades and lots swallowing issues within the last year. I’ve also had skeletal alignment pain where my pelvis feels shifted and my ribs and spine feel twisted that chiropractors and physical therapists failed to resolve. I’ve clenched and grinded heavily at night for decades. My jaw is also slightly shifted to the right due to a misalignment in my bite. I’ve had bite issues for 15+ years that I tried to fix with orthodontics, occlusal adjustments and my occlusion just doesn’t feel level/stable. I also feel I have a narrow upper palate and tried mewing/thumb pulling recently which opened my eyes to all of this stuff. My lower jaw still feels shifted to the right. I’ve also had chronic head tension for the last 3.5 years and nothing gets rid of it. Also having a lot of difficulty sleeping at night. I’m thinking double jaw surgery could really help me out with my breathing, jaw positioning and tongue posture which could help resolve the clenching and grinding.
