2025.01.23 09:40 ovojr Did I get a bad unit or is the Aeron Remastered a significantly better chair than the Classic?
So about a year ago I sold my Aeron Remastered due to finances, I figured I didn't really need a $1500 chair. After a couple months of trying various other competitors like the Steelcase Leap, I ended up finding a 2013 Classic for a good deal. But every day I sit in it, I miss my remastered. I knew that the remaster was an improvement, but the difference is night and day. The default sitting position in the classic feels weirdly tilted back, to the point where I have to keep the forward tilt unlocked just to feel comfortable. The mesh on the classic sinks a ton, maybe a heavier person just wore this down but the Staples Hyken had better suspension than this. And the foam piece under the seat was immediately noticeable. When I had the remastered, I could sit in it all day and feel fine, but the classic gets uncomfortable after only an hour or so. Did I just get a heavily used classic? Or are they all like this.
Would love to hear thoughts from others who've went from the classic to remastered, or vice-versa.

There's no use saying anything to them about how things hurt you now because you know it won't change their mind, they'll make any excuse for their actions while still claiming they love you. You learn arguing is futile as you vaguely get a sense of how to pull their strings, you learn it's best to say less and never out of obligation. You stop opening up and pouring your heart out. Every day thinking you're caring less and less, knowing one day they won't be able to affect you at all (but how much do I have to change, how much of me has to die first? You wonder). As though you can take your heart back. Even though they've trampled on and humiliated it infront of the entire universe. Like it never happened. Like you could erase them from your soul. Their energy, their essence. Them. Their face. that claims they're nothing. The way you easily dismissed them in the beginning when you saw only their shoes in the door frame, reaizing they were the face of some name you heard but not the person you were hoping to see. "Why do you even want to be around me, I'm a piece of shit" you're confused and sadly suspicious every time they say this. "What makes you say that?" You ask thinking their must be something you dont already know. You want to believe it too, but, there you are.

2025.01.23 09:40 YoGoobs Windforce v2 4090 not turning on at all.
Hey all, been working on trying to get this GPU to show signs of life and it's been a doozy. For context, the card is about a month old, but I bought it off of someone who was trying to recoup the money for the 50 series. Anyway, when I slot the 4090 into my PC and boot it up, I notice that there's no lights and the fans don't spin at all. More so, I am unable to interact with anything Nvidia as I get the "no compatible device detected" and it doesn't show up in Device Manager (even with hidden shown). I've tried 2 different adapters so I'd be shocked if those were the culprit and I've reslotted my 1080ti since trying to get it to run and can confirm that the PCIE slot is functioning as usual. I'm really not sure what to do, I can't get access to it via Windows so I can't even being to troubleshoot. Any idea or anyone familiar with something like this? I appreciate any conversation, just tryna resolve it :)
