I, 16F, liked a guy, 16M in my school. For context, we are in an Indian school. As is expected, my parents are very strict about dating. I met him about 2 weeks before this incident and we instantly liked each other but had not spoken at all. Our mutual friends kept pushing us together.
He decided to ask me out one day. That day, ironically enough, was Rakshabandhan. He decided to get me a bouquet of flowers and go down on one knee in front of me. Mind you, we were in a crowded lobby where our teachers and classmates were also standing. They were all gawking at us and it made me very nervous. I was scared about my parents being called to school.
So, overcome with fear, I stopped him in the middle of the proposal and told him that I see him as a brother. I stepped away and hid in the crowd until he got up and left. Later in the day, I approached him and tied rakhi to him.

A little back story about me I just got sworn in on the 8th of January. It took me five years to join the military because of COVID. I got really huge, going from 185 pounds as a quarterback in high school to 407 pounds. So, I decided to get gastric sleeve surgery. In April 2022, I lost 195 pounds within a year and a half, and now I weigh 210 pounds as of today.
Then, in June 2022, I was in a near-fatal car accident. They diagnosed me with PTSD, anxiety, and depression, and I fractured my inner pelvic bone. My surgeon told me I would never walk again and that I would need a hip replacement. But I prayed, and I kept telling myself to stop feeling depressed about what had happened to me and to get up and fight for my future. I went through physical therapy to learn how to walk again, and after four months, I was able to walk with a cane. Two more months went by, and I was determined to walk again without support. For my 2023 New Year's party, I shocked everyone by walking and running again.
While all of this was happening, my recruiter kept pushing me to keep going, but they kept denying me because of the mental health diagnoses from my car accident. I was an armed guard, so I kept fighting and fighting. After three years of trying to get into the military, they finally cleared me, and I was so freaking happy! I signed on as an MMS (Machinist's Mate Submarine), which comes with a top-secret clearance and a sign-on bonus. God is amazing. I ship out on February 3rd. If anyone has information about the role I chose or any advice to give me, it would be greatly appreciated!!

Hi all, I've started taking Topaz T25 THC oil daily in the evenings. I have been prescribed 2 drops a day. However since taking it, I always feel a strong headache at the back of my head after a few hours. I also feel very groggy and heavy the next day. I have been taking CBD oil daily, twice a day for a year now with no adverse reactions. So I am wondering, do I try a different brand? Or do I just need to build a tolerance to this? Thanks

This could be something or nothing. I’m an extreme beginner to houseplants or any sort of gardening tbh! I got this sweet polka dot plant (hypoestes) from the reduced section at my local shop, so I knew he’d be a bit poorly anyway. Checked his roots and they surprisingly look very healthy. I read that these plants like a bit of humidity so he is in a warm room, and to keep the soil moist so I’ve been regularly misting - usually when the soil is dry to touch. I’ve noticed some of the leaves have crispy edges and small holes. What does this mean, as google isn’t being right helpful? Do they need cutting off altogether or just trimming? What can I generally do to make him happier? Is he beyond saving or is there something I’m doing wrong? I personally don’t get the impression that he’s dead but like I say I’m very very new to this! Thank you 😊

Okay, I have watched YouTube tutorials, I have read Reddit threads, I have google searched and after a couple of hours at the computer gave up. Can you still buy books on Amazon kindle and load to kobo?! I downloaded calibre, and deDRM, but I have not succeeded with anything past that step?!
I do not own a kindle device, and I feel that was getting me stuck as it wouldn’t let me download content via usb from the Amazon page?!

Its genuinely so unfair how someone can just straight up pick who gets eliminated. Imagine if in squid game the players can just choose to eliminate the thug with the neck tattoo (the strongest player), how lame would that be? Why are you giving players the option to eliminate others, just makes it so that you have to play with "honor" or else ur out, which is dumb. Plus everyone on that show is honestly very stupid so someone making a logical choice can be seen as a " bad " person and get eliminated. Makes no sense

Hi all.
I have a problem with an old macbook pro. out of thin air all my USB-C ports died I took it to a shop, since it was out of warranty they tried to fix the ports but said the whole board should be replaced. So..... I bought a new macbook since that was a cheaper option. Problem is, I need some files off my old macbook.
The only way for it to work is if the battery is charged. But the ports wont charge the battery.
is there a way I can charge it with some kind of cable? for example I have fpv drones and I have a battery charger with many adapters and I can set up how much amperage to output.
Any help would be appreciated.
