2025.01.23 09:41 FluckyU Can someone escape the label of being a Nazi simply by being a Zionist? I’ve noticed the American right dodging the label with this one caveat while carrying every other distinction needed to fit the label.
Feel free to disagree but here is my thesis…If you replace Jews with immigrants or LBGT or even democrat, many people on the far right in America appear to be getting very close to being fairly labeled proper Nazis. Their prescription for many of society’s ills are extremely draconian, and even if it’s not (currently) throwing people in gas chambers, humanity and decency don’t even get a passing acknowledgment in the solutions to perceived problems they face. I’ll leave it to someone else to flesh out every similarity between the far right in America today with actual nazism of the past, but suffice it to say there is plenty there to compare and discuss.
I’ve noticed when these comparisons come up everyone on the right runs for cover under the claim of “how could we possibly be a Nazis if we support Israel!?!” To them, this is a checkmate. And maybe they are correct? Maybe this one distinction is all it takes to free them of this label/claim? On the other hand, it seems unnecessary to need an entirely new term to describe something so complex yet so similar.

Vi er i et dilemma, om vi skal banke vores terrændæk op i forbindelse med vores renovering af 60’er hus.
Årsagen til at vi evt vil gøre det er for at få renoveret vores faldstammer, kloakker mv, da vi tænker det vil være dumt at renovere ovenpå gamle kloakrør.
Vi faldt dog over en anden løsning, som kaldes strømpeforing. Er der nogen, der har erfaringer med det? Vil det give mening at “nøjes” med den løsning?

In the last two months, we’ve had 450 users try out the app, but I’ve noticed that many of them are putting in junk data, which makes it hard to tell whether the usability of the app is clear or if users are just testing the waters. I once met this girl who at first was okay , wasnt the best in a lot of ways but still called me her 'bestfriend' and just never showed it, a few months into knowing her she needed money so i helped get her a job with the place i work for, it was a security job and it was great for a while, i didnt see her much at work just a pass by every now and then but i didnt care as i loved my job, a year later we had a really bad fight which almost went to court but was quickly resolved , but before it was we still were working together and during that time she told EVERYONE false rumors about me saying i was threatening her, stalking her and her family, even said i posted intamite pictures of her and showed them the picture i 'posted' not a screenshot but a normal picture , which i have never even seen her scuddies anyway, people i never met at the secuity job ( there could be 150-200 people at post as we did events) coming up to me asking me about it and i was just dumbfounded , eventually the boss came up to us and said this is like middle school and we both could be let go over it if it happens again, i have been there for 2 years my heart sank but I really cant blame him and was just going to keep ignoring her and hopefully she got scared straight from the talk with him. I wait until the next event and it comes and goes, the next one i still dont get a call i try texting him a few hours before the next event telling him i can work whenever he needs it usually lots of people end up not showing up and get short staffed, still nothing its been a month and i realize i been let go, and start looking for another job.
Months go by and eventually, me and her are on okay terms after taking her to court for reasons i would rather not share, one day she calls me from No caller ID and i answer as my doctor ususally calls from it but not this time, she immedently asks me about the phone i was going to give her and if she can still have it as hers is giving out, I was confused for minute silently thinking of what she is talking about and it hit me, days before the blowout i told her i got a new phone and was going to give her my iphone XR I just wanna transfer it all and clear it and then she can have it but she couldnt even wait before she went full on demented and made me lose my job trying to tarnish my name to get it from me.
Now im a people pleaser so im still learning how to say no because it just feels like a bad word it almost refuses to come out, I just told her my old one broke so she cant have it as i need it I probably should of just told her why but i changed my number so i dont need to worry about it anymore I just thought it was funny and wanted to tell someone about it

I got a problem where the extruder stops extruding randomly. It might be that my Bowdentube has become high friction, since I first had the problem with matte filament which was unprintable with the Bowdentube. But that wouldn’t explain the random nature of this issue. I’m also not pushing high extrusion rates or speeds. Is there anything I can check for?

Nakipag-break ako (25F) sa long-term girlfriend (24F) ko of 7 years kasi na aligned yung non-negotiables namin.
Nag-migrate yung partner ko papuntang US 4 months ago. We prepared long and hard for long-distance. Ever since we met alam ko na ipe-petition siya one of these days. We were at our best before she left, nag-live in kasi kami for a good 2 years. Sure na sure na kami, na kami ang end game at magti-tiis lang kami for a while pero pag pwede na, dadalhin niya rin ako doon. I was very confident that our relationship would last longer.
Her family has its toxic sides, but I've grown to accept it. Alam kong mahihirapan siya sa current setup sa household nila don. Currently, they are all living sa bahay ng eldest sister niya sa US. I won't explain further pero she's really having a hard time doon sa bahay at yun ang major cause ng difficulty niya sa pag-adjust.
Dahil nga toxic sa bahay niya, ang naging pahinga niya ay work. Masaya siyang pag nakakagala siya at nakakasama yung workmates niya. Being WLW, hindi siya open sa workmates niya about sa relationship status niya sa Pilipinas. Alam nilang single siya at mayroon lang siyang manliligaw sa Pinas. Ngayon, meron siyang isang pinoy workmate na nagta-try siyang ligawan. Ilang beses na niyang tinurn down yung lalake, pero persistent pa din yung guy. Recently umamin siya sakin na kinakausap niya pa din yung guy. Umamin siya na ilang beses na siyang hinatid nung lalaki pauwi, minsan sila lang, minsan may kasamang iba. Madami pa siyang ginawa na for me ay over na sa boundaries (nagregaluhan, lumabas para kumain with the purpose to tell the guy to stop pero hindi nangyari). Pero kapag tinatanong ko siya, hindi niya naman daw gusto yung lalaki.
I've asked her multiple times na wag na kausapin yung guy or parang tigilan na yung constant communication. Pero ang standpoint niya, kapag inunfriend niya yung lalake, mawawalan siya ng mga kaibigan kasi mas close yung lalake sa friend group kaysa sakanya. Etong friend group na to are the only friends na meron siya doon at ito rin ang only escape niya sa toxic household niya. Bukod don, she's not really the type of person na kayang hindi magreply.
Naiintindihan ko siya na friends nalang yung escape niya. Pero nakipag-break ako ng tuluyan sakanya kasi hindi ko na kaya yung ginagawa niyang pag-over step ng boundaries. Lalo na yung paghatid sakanya nung lalaki. We tried fixing it pa, binigyan ko pa siya ng chance. Nag-offer pa ako na next time kahit mag-lyft (uber) nalang siya, sagot ko, para hindi lang siya ihatid. Pero nahatid pa din siya at ang dami niya lang excuses.
Non-negotiables niya yung mga kaibigan niya. At ako naman dahil pa-ulit ulit nalang akong nadi-disrespect, naging non-negotiable ko na dapat wala na siyang comms with the guy. Clearly, hindi na kami aligned kaya I had enough.
Alam ko pag nire-recall ko lahat ng nangyari, obvious naman na may mali yung ex ko. Pero minsan I can't help but feel guilty for leaving her right now kung kelan naguguluhan siya sa next steps niya sa life. Kung kelan sobrang stressed siya sa toxicity ng family niya. I can't help but think if nagkulang bako sa pagtiwala sakanya? Nagkulang ba ako sa pag-intindi sa situation niya kasi paulit-ulit niya rin sinasabi sakin na yung friends niya lang nagpapasaya sakanya ngayon?
ABYG kung hindi ko kayang magtiwala sa words ng partner ko at iniwan ko siya ngayon kung kelan siya nahihirapan?

Hi everyone,
Looking to move away from Trakt after their recent announcement.
One of my use cases was to keep track of shows I've collected, which is separate from shows I've watched. There are certain shows I own that I haven't yet watched, or shows I've watched that I don't own (i.e. stuff I watched on streaming sites).
Is there a way to track this in Simkl? It seems like it only tracks the watched progress of a show, but no way to indicate that I have collected a show.
