2025.01.23 09:22 Celestial-Yeti Whyteleafe - Person Hit by Train
Warning - Suicide
Sorry in advance this is pretty sad. I was on my usual commuter train into London this morning and the train stopped abruptly. After a short wait the driver came on to the intercom to say he had hit someone. The police have now showed up and are managing the situation.
We are being held now, most likely for a few hours whilst the paramedics and police do their thing. It’s given me some time to think.
Could the person have survived? We wouldn’t have been going that fast, although the police did mention that they jumped from a footbridge above.
Will the train driver be okay and will they get some help? I can’t even begin to imagine what they are going through right now.
I’m going to leave some flowers on the footbridge where he/she jumped from. I wish I could do more. Is there any way I could find out who it was and if there is a funeral? I know it’s sounds insane but I’m feeling pretty awful for the person.
Police showed up quickly and have managed the situation well so far checking if anyone on the train has a medical condition and offering water (even though it’s absolutely freezing).

Okay, kind of a clickbait title, but the log and its non-existent evolution are far too oppressive and need some kind of nerf. I just hit 6k trophies, and I still see log being used at LEAST every single other game, if not more often than that. If I don't have ebarbs rage, it's an auto-lose against any half-decent player using log, which I find ridiculous and annoying. Log has made basically every other spell obsolete. I want to use Log, Log, or even the log-something INTERESTING besides LOG—but I just can't because log cycle gets ludicrous value. Sure, it has mediocre usage in ladder(can't understand why given how bad it is), but its omnipresence in my matches warrants a nerf or change of some kind. It's been like 6 years of this.

Just curious if this is a regular thing, as I can’t find any discussion about it anywhere. Loaded into the first war scenario map’s cutscene, and my game crashed. Only happened once, but random crashes make me super nervous. I noticed the statue in the cutscene kinda vibrating prior to the crash, if that helps.

Hello!
Me and four friends are planning a trip to Sweden in the beginning of may, just four days.
We are from Austria and fishing is kinda tough here, we spent a day on a boat on a lake and only caught a few small perch this summer, so we wanna go to a place, where it is not hard to catch fish.
At first we thought about renting a house at a lake near Linköping with a small boat.
The iFiske Homepage lists that lake and it says that perch and pike are common there, which seemed good, as perch are my favorite fish. The drive from Stockholm would take about four hours. This would be a chilled trip.
But then I browsed the iFiske Homepage more and found out that there are fishing waters up north, in the östersund area, that seem much better, where pike,perch, briwn trout and grayling are listed as plentiful and many other species also catchable. Some fisheries offer renting a boat as well.
The drive would take more like sevens hours though, so that would turn our vacation more into something like a road trip, traveling around, fishing different waters and changing hotel every day.
So maybe if someone could give me advice, whether it would be worth the hassle of doing the Roadtrip.
Maybe somebody has experience how many fish we could probably catch doing that first option. Full day on a small boat at the beginning of may...is there a chance we don't catch anything or is it pretty likely that each of us will get a few bites?
Another question: Do we have to book hotels in advance, or could we just take hotels spontaneously in the östersund area?
Sry for the wall of text, but I would really appreciate advice!
