2025.01.23 14:36 batcaalex1234 Laptop Gaming Lenovo ideapad 3 15ihu6 has crazy high temperatures and loud fans when it is on balanced mode, before being set on perfomance for a brief moment.
A little bit of back story. Before using Lenovo Vantage, the app showed me that my laptop is on balanced mode having good temperaturs while playing ex. Cyberpunk 2077, CPU 70 80C and GPU 45 50C. I was curious and I put it in performance and didn't like it (had same performance ) and I got back on balance mode. Then my fan started to be more louder and faster and temperatures getting crazy high, CPU being at 95 100 and GPU 50 60.
I have tried everything, changing paste, cleaning fans, put it back on balance mode, update every driver, including bios, reset the power plan absolutely everything.
Also contacted lenovo support in which case it was absolutely useless. They just recommended to do what I did and then ghosted me. Thank you Lenovo Support very cool!
The only thing it seems to revert to "normal" is to disable processor performance boost mode (PPBM) (which before it was default mode being on Aggressive). My cpu is being cool again and the fans are not loud anymore. But that means that i dont have turbo boost anymore and instead of having max 4.5Ghz i have 3.2Ghz.
Any help I am literally going crazy.
TLDR Lenovo Vantage literally destroyed my pc settings configuration with one setting.

Hey everyone,
Wife and I decided to toss away our old Bob-o-pedic and invest in a bed that wouldn't leave us feeling restless every morning. Stopped in a Purple store nearby and fell in love with their Rejuvenate line. Couldn't swing the Premier or the Plus, so we opted for a queen-sized entry Rejuvenate mattress. We've had it for a few weeks now, and our sleep has not improved at all. The mattress feels like a brick. We were told that it would take some time to break in, but again, it's been a few weeks and I've even jumped around on it a few times to try and loosen it up. It feels nothing like the store model, which is super disappointing. We're well within the return window, but I at least wanted to see if anyone else has had similar issues or if we should wait it out a little longer to see if we acclimate or if it breaks in more. TBH it feels like we got taken for a ride, since as soon as I paid for the mattress and left the store, we could hear the staff break out laughing behind us.
Little info on us in case it helps:
Both under 175lb. I'm a side/back sleeper, wife is stomach/side sleeper. We are currently expecting, which is also why we decided to upgrade the mattress for her comfort.

 | Ethereum has seen a big change in staking recently, with over 788,000 ETH (that's 2.3% of the total staked ETH) being unstaked since the all-time high (staking amount) of 34.76 million ETH on November 7th, 2024. This is the second biggest drop since staking withdrawals were enabled in April 2023 through the Shapella upgrade. There's no way we can tell why this is happening, but I will do my best to try to identify possible causes of this 'phenomenon'. First, it could be the recent price volatility. Some stakers may have decided to withdraw their ETH because of the price fluctuations. It could also be because of the Ethereum Foundation's sales, which have always been a regular thing, like I said they support the development and growth of Ethereum. The Ethereum Foundation's sales are a normal aspect and their purpose is to fund community initiatives, support teams that contribute to Ethereum, and pay developers, this is all to invest in Ethereum's evolution. Pergunta auto explicativa, mas já explico o porquê: faz um tempo, eu vi um quadro dos acordos de transmissão da Libra e LFF, mas enquanto a primeira já tinha fechado com a Globo/Premiere pro PPV, ainda não tinha nada confirmado para a LFF nesse quesito. Para exemplo, o que eu tinha visto de acordo fechado, respectivamente para TV aberta, fechada e PPV:
Libra: Globo/Sportv/Premiere LFF: Record/Amazon Prime/???
Por isso, pergunto se já tem acordo de PPV para a LFF.
