I have decided to not renew my PS+ subscription, so in about three weeks I will lose access to GTA Online and my 11 year old characters.
I just don’t have time in my life for home console gaming anymore. If I do, it’s only because I traded sleep for it, starting around 03:00 or so. I only played a couple times in November, five times in December, and just once this month.
I’ll try to find some time to re-photograph and inventory my vehicle and property portfolios.
It will be nice to spend my last minutes in the snow, since it’s still active for me.

Heute wird gefragt, welche kulturelle Tätigkeiten ich betreibe, und es werden davon einige Beispiele gegeben: in die Oper oder ins Theater zu gehen, zum Beispiel. Obwohl mir die Kultur sehr wichtig ist, muss ich gestehen, dass ich aktuell sehr wenige -- lautet, überhaupt keine -- von solchen Aktivitäten betreibe, d.h., Vorstellungen besuchen. Ich gehe nicht in die Oper, auch nicht ins Theater. Das liegt m.E. drei Sachen zugrunde. Erstens, es ist ein Überrest der Pandemie-Zeiten, denn ich bemerke, dass ich heutzutage auch nicht oft ins Kino gehe, obwohl vor der Pandemie ich das etwas regelmäßig gemacht habe. Ich habe mich schlechthin davon abgewöhnt, in geschlossen Räumen mit vielen Menschen eine lange Zeit zu verbringen. Heute ist das schon gut zu machen, aber man, wie gesagt, hat sich davon abgewöhnt. Das bringt uns zum zweiten Grund, und zwar, dass m.E. in meiner Stadt, obwohl es bestimmt interessante kulturelle Gelegenheiten gibt, diese nicht so befriedigend wie in einer Großstadt wie Berlin sind. Sie locken mich nicht an. Als ich Berlin zum letzten Mal besucht habe, habe ich versucht, Karten für die Deutsche Oper zu kaufen, aber weil ich so lange gewartet hatte, waren sie fast alles ausverkauft, mit der Ausnahme der ungeheuer teuren (man muss überlegen, bevor man 200€+ für eine Vorstellung ausgibt). Ich glaube, wäre ich in Berlin, würde ich viel öfter in solche Vorstellungen gehen. Vorher, in einer anderen Großstadt, wo ich wohnte, habe ich bin ich ins Theater, in die Oper gegangen, obwohl ich gebe zu, dass es keine regelmäßige Tätigkeit war. Das hiesige Angebot ist beschränkt aber immer noch ziemlich teuer, und, wie gesagt, lockt es mich nicht an.
Dasselbe geht auch für Museen. Das ist eine kulturelle Aktivität, die ich sehr gern betreibe. In jeder Stadt, wo ich gewohnt habe, habe ich das jede Woche gemacht. Hier, wo ich jetzt wohne, habe ich alle Museen mehrmals besucht, und hatte sogar eine Jahreskarte für eins. Aber noch einmal, diese Stadt ist keine Großstadt, und, obwohl die hiesigen Museen mir gefallen, mangelt es hier an Vielfältigkeit und Auswahl. Auch sind die Künstler, die hier bevorzugt werden, nicht meine liebsten. Im Gegensatz bin ich zu vielen Museen in Berlin gerne gegangen. Dort gefällt mir die Kunst und gefallen mir die Künstler. Ich betreibe diese Besuche, jedes Mal, dass ich in Berlin bin. Und es ist einer der Gründe, warum ich gerne nach Berlin ziehen würde. Ich finde die Kunst dort spannend. Sogar habe ich eine Jahreskarte für die SMB, so oft gehe ich in die staatlichen Museen. Außerdem gibt es viele Galerien, die oftmals ein sehr gutes Angebot von neuer Kunst bieten.
Hier lebe ich trotzdem ein Leben voller Kultur. Wir schauen Filme zu Hause an -- und auch Serien, die für mich als Kultur zählen --, wir gehen gelegentlich ins Kino und in die Museen. Ich lese viel, höre Musik und ich habe eine Menge Kunstbücher, die ich regelmäßig angucke. Und ich mache meine eigene Kultur: in diesem Moment Musik, vorher Schreiben, und ich habe das Malen vor.
(NB: Ich habe das heute schnell schreiben müssen; wenn es viele Fehler gibt, dort liegt der Grund)

For context I want my research project to be related to the industry I currently work in. However I will be applying the theoretical strategies and I will be drawing from the methodology I developed while doing my undergrad thesis project for a new hypothesis, I hope I explain myself.
So for my undergrad thesis, I used tools, modelling strategies, an specific theoretical approach to solve a problem A.
In the job I work for (engineering job, highly technical) I have identified problem B
I plan to take from what I did to solve problem A in my undergrad thesis project to solve Problem B. At least the initial approach.
Is it worth including the projects I participated in, in my current job last year? Those projects were not research oriented (no publications or academical output was produced) but numerical results were obtained as in cost reducement and bla bla bla.
I don't speak english sorry for any mistake.

But you know what? Had you just told me— even a dm— that you still love him or that you wanted him back, I would have backed down. It was still early on in the relationship and it’ll hurt, for sure, but I’ll live. I’d rather that than all this mess. I don’t like drama and I’m not confrontational so I avoid them as much as possible. The three of us would have been okay by now. But you doubled down on us, especially on me, guns ablazing, never giving us a chance to say our side of the story. You accused me of stealing your man, called me names, said I was ugly, posted made-up stories all over your socials just so your supporters would antagonize me, too. It’s so jading— the feeling of suddenly receiving a ton of hate from people who I don’t even know, especially knowing that I never did anything to warrant such hatred.
I know that to this day, you still honestly (deliriously) believe that I stole him from you and that you hate me for it. You said you will never forgive. I received the brunt of your wrath and the all blame was put on me when you did this to yourself. I did not deserve that. I never stole anything of yours but you stole my peace. It’s been years but I was so traumatized I’m still in therapy. And for that, there’s no forgiveness for you, too.

Found out I was pregnant 5 days ago. I’m about 3 weeks and 5 days pregnant. I previously had hyperthyroidism; TSH was .009, Free T4 was 1.36 last month on 12/18/24.
I got follow up bloodwork 2 days ago. TSH of 55.60, Free T4 0.40.
Repeated bloodwork yesterday just before starting treatment - TSH 61.80, Free T4 0.47, total T4 3.6.
The endocrinologist started me on levothyroxine 100 mcg. I'm really scared, I didn't think I would go full blown hypothyroid after being hyperthyroid. Worried after all the information I've read on the internet about baby's brain development and IQ.
Does anyone have any similar experience with a good outcome and healthy baby?
