Hello everybody, I am hoping you can help me because I am grasping at straws with the problem. I cannot for the life of me install a game "Rise of Nations: Rise of Legends" - I tried everything from winetricks and Lutris to Bottles and even asked chatGPT for suggestions but nothing seems to make it work
I even made a seperate and clean winetricks 32bit just for this game with all those C++ and dxkv and d3dx9 requirements and all of the fonts because it won't even start if the wine prefix isn't optimised for 32bit win XP - I can get the game to load after a days worth of struggle but it crashes with an error
Last error I got is that the game doesn't recognize OpenGL so game crashes on start
I checked the game and it works fine on windows 10 computer with win XP optimization but on my linux it just won't start
I run Ubuntu MATE and have wine 9 staging (since it was only wine awailable when I upgraded last year)
On that note - this is the only game I cannot make work and it is driving me crazy for last three days

So i got Hell Let Loose not too long ago from Epic Games, and i almost immediately hopped on with 2 of my friends. We played around 2-3 matches in the same day. And even though i played with high graphics, it did not had any problems, no FPS decrease, no FPS drops randomly, 60 or even higher (90) FPS, so everything was fine.
And then problems come across. Not too long after, i had to decrease graphics settings because my pc, for some reason, cruppled. I'm still suffering from the same problems, i had tried to close unnecessary things like discord while playing with HLL and it didn't work, i tried to set graphics settings up again and it was even worse because while i was getting 45-50 fps on low graphics, now i got below 30 fps with the same setting before the issue came up. In the current state, i'm out of ideas of why exactly this happens.
I have a GTX 1080 and i7 under the hood and in theory it's above the recommended requirements (that being i5 and GTX 1060) and i experienced it being above recommended as it should be for that first 3 or so matches but since those matches, things were not so great no matter what server i choose, no matter what settings i'm playing and no matter what unnecessary thing i close.

A few weeks ago I went to my friends âestate sale.â
He had gone through all of his stuff, did a purge, put it on the tables, laid clothes on the couches and the living room was the âstoreâ and we all came over with food and drinkâŠand âshoppedâ his stuff.
Everything was free, it was just a way to distribute his stuff.
I have two warm flannels, a lamp, a cute little painting, and a vase and now when he comes over to my house he says âGod, I have such good tasteâ
I know one of the âhurdlesâ of decluttering is sometimes you want a nice home for your stuff and what better home than those of your friends and family.
It was really fun and almost everything was redistributed.

 | I'll be honest. I thought this film was going to be a real piece of shit. But I was pleasantly surprised, it exceeded my expectations in many ways. Actually it's very funny, at times laugh out loud funny. I knew it was a cult film and that's all I knew going in. Turns out it was only released in 8 theaters back in 1992 and grossed less than $6000. It should have made millions. The plot is simple. Bill Paxton plays a timid analyst who, after relocating to a new house, is terrorised by a vagrant played by Marshall Bell. Something about Bell as the scary homeless guy is inexplicably funny. His appearance, while grotesque, is funny. His movements are funny. The grunts he makes are funny. It's almost like pantomime. And Bill Paxton plays scared dudes to perfection (see Aliens, True Lies), and this film is no exception. Another aspect worth mentioning is the weird score, which comprises of short shallow breaths that sound like a person jerking off LOL. I like these comedies where people get their lives turned upside down. This was a simple A to B comedy in that vein, but it worked. Hey, winter is here and I'm trying to enjoy it. The problem being that my 2012 mks (rebadged taurus sho) is not cooperating. It's front-bias all wheel drive, meaning I can't turn off traction control or else it'll only send power to the front and refuse to oversteewill understeer a lot and become very dangerous in the snow.
The problem is that when trying to execute a powerslide, the vehicle restricts throttle. Just earlier I was making a right turn and had my foot to the floor, and the damn car started slowing down!
Does anyone know of anything I can modify or maybe asbuilt variables in forscan I can change to eliminate this throttle restriction behavior?

When I asked for a specific example, they tripped over their words and eventually admitted they hadnât actually experienced a team conflict. This left me questioning their real-world skills.
The AI trend has put pressure on candidates to present themselves perfectly on paper, but in reality, employers are seeking authentic conversations. We want to know not just what you can do, but how you think, adapt, and overcome challenges.
So, while I appreciate the enthusiasm for using AI to enhance job applications, I canât stress enough the importance of genuine preparation. Engage in mock interviews, connect with peers for real feedback, and make sure to intertwine your personal experiences into your answers. Authenticity always trumps perfection.
In this ever-evolving landscape, let's remember: AI can be a great tool, but it shouldn't replace genuine human interaction and storytelling in the interview room.
