Hey everyone!
I recently started a small OPR “league” at my local game store, to get the younger players to paint and play with their models. And to simplify gameplay, I went looking for some unit cards online, but I couldn’t find any that really suited my needs. I am a designer at heart, so I made my own! I duplex printed a set on cardstock, you can see them here. But if you can’t, printing and gluing to cardboard (ie. a cereal box) and cutting them out works great too. Be aware, these cards are a work in progress, they don’t look that great and are not “idiot” proof to make, yet. Some familiarity with Figma or other UI/UX software is a plus, but not a requirement.
You can find the template to make your own unit cards here. After you have signed up, or signed in via. Google, simply go to the homepage, click on “shared files” right below “new design file”, right click “Unit cards, test release” and then click “duplicate”. As this is a playtest release, the design is NOT final. I’ve themed this set (loosely) around fantasy, since that is what is most popular in my game store.
If you find these useful, please pay it forward by trying to break the design. I am currently looking for:
Overflowing textboxes, ie. names, unit upgrade, special rules, anything that can make text go over the allotted space Overflowing weapons or unit upgrade, ie. someway to have more than 4 weapons or unit upgrades (I am aware titans can have up to 6 weapons, but they would probably need a design just to accommodate them anyway, this is a non-issue) Overflowing special rule explanations, ie. filling up the back of the card with too many special rules (see note on “caster” below!) Anything that is missing, I play OPR casually, so maybe I am missing something, let me know if that is the case!Things on my to-do list:
Faction caster cards: caster (and transport) is very text and rule-dense, for OPR anyway. Instead of cramming the back, I think the better solution is to shorten the rules text and have a separate faction caster card with the full rules text and spell list, ie. “Caster(X) - Gets X spell tokens at the start of each round, but can’t hold more than 6 tokens at once. See faction caster card for casting spells.” Faction distinction: While handling multiple faction cards, it is currently too easy to mix them up, a watermark/title or both, would be a good solution to tell factions apart at a glance. Standardizing the card size: the cards print at 128x88mm on A4 paper, (twice the size of a normal playing/trading card), but board game cards tend to be a bit biggesmaller. If you handle these cards a lot, it is way more convenient to buy a pack of board game sleeves, than to print and cut a new set once every few months.I’d also love to work out something with OPR to integrate these with armyforge. I was just diagnosed last week and I am in he'll mentally. My family of 6 have been sick since January 1st. It started with a cold, now it's pink eye and sinus infections. I am on edge and have no way to deal, I'm physically exhausted from being sick myself. I don't have time to clean every surface everytime someone touches something and the thought of the inevitability of it is causing psychological distress, cannot stop obsessing etc. I could just use a kind word right now. I have no coping skills currently.

I am unable to capture a wim from the reference VM I am using.
All the customisation is done, I run litetouch.vbs from the capture share (separate from my deployment share) Select the TS I created for sysprep and capture. This works fine until the sysprep completes and the VM boots into WinPE.
When it boots into WinPE, it doesn't continue with the TS I had specified for it, instead the litetouch.vbs comes up again asking me to select a task sequence rather than move to the capture WIM stage.
I get no errors, no indication something hasn't worked until the boot into WinPE and it doesnt continue.
I have updated to the latest adk and refreshed my deployment share but no luck still.

2025.01.23 14:42 rottiemom0226 How do I safely start leaving my puppy at home out of the crate with our other dog?
I have a 2.5 year old male Rottweiler and a male boxer that is about to be 6 months old. The Rottweiler has no issues staying home alone, he basically just lays on the couch or near the door until we get back and doesn’t really do anything or caused any trouble while we are gone. So far, we have not left the boxer home without having him in the crate, and we’ve only done this for a few hours at a time thus far. I want to slowly start transitioning to leaving him home outside of the crate, but I’m wondering the best way to do this with the other dog there, I don’t want any fights or anything to break out while we are not home, they are both good dogs, but the possibility still scares me. What is the best way to navigate this?
