I'm at a loss for words. I was texting this girl from a dating app and we had a slow conversation -- maybe once or twice a day for a week -- but seemingly good conversation before we moved off the platform. I'll admit it wasn't the most riveting discussion, but it wasn't bad.
We had a fairly short text exchange before what felt like getting the rug ripped from under me. I tried so hard to play it cool, but inside I was pretty upset. It actually ruined my night, and still the feelings won't leave me into this morning. Maybe it was a worse discussion than I thought, but it just felt so sudden.
Can I get some advice about this exchange? Were my jokes really that bad? Was my approach bad? Could I have responded better?

2025.01.23 14:37 CrypticCodedMind Is it common to have your immunoglobulin levels monitored while being on Ocrevus/Kesimpta?
I'm having my appointment tomorrow to talk about treatment and they let me know in advance they thought Ocrevus or Kesimpta would be the best choice in my case. I'm leaning towards Kesimpta because of the convenience. I know both are very effective medications, but I'm a bit concerned about possible long term immunosuppressant effects. I know lots of people are doing really well on it and don't really have that much of an uptick in infections, but my understanding is that long-term B-cell depletion from treatments like Ocrevus or Kesimpta might lower immunoglobulin levels, which could increase my risk of various infections for anything from the common cold to more severe infections requiring hospitalisation. It’s probably normal if it goes down a little bit but there's a critical threshold below which it becomes concerning. For me personally, it would be so reassuring to at least have this monitored, so at least I'd know if the levels get too low. And we can potentially make adjustments if necessary.
Also, if you have any other tips about what to ask tomorrow, please let me know!

2025.01.23 14:37 Dequavis78 Lenovo tower RTX 4080 S is a nightmare and a joke
So i bought a brand new Lenovo Tower gaming pc and let me tell you that I will never buy another product from this crap chinese company. This was my first high end pc purchase and I’m starting to regret it. Out of the box this pc has micro-stutters while gaming which I have noticed after a while since my previous pc was a potato. The stutters go from above 140fps to low 20fps in milliseconds. Of course I went to google to find out that pre installed apps might cause the problem. I uninstalled most of the crappy lenovo apps and it worked! Till next reboot when the apps magically appeared again.. So now i have to manually disable/uninstall them every time! If this wasn’t enough of a huddle yesterday the stutters came back despite most of the apps being disabled. I also noticed that my bios is out of date even tho lenovo vantage saying all is up to date.. I mean for this price do I have to constantly discover new things to fix in this brand new pc? Another problem I’m having is memory.. Yes! the Ram is lowered from the factory from advertised 5600mhz to 4400mhz so in order to change it you go to bios.. so i thought I might as well update it from lenovo website. But it wouldn’t be fun if all worked out of the box because this stupid fucking bios from lenovo doesn’t wanna update.. it fails with error code 1x10 on a brand new machine.. What a fucking joke this company is fr.
