Dear community,
i am 6 weeks pregnant :) and used to be very physically active before conceiving (which happened through IVF).
I did a workout routine for pregnant women on Youtube the other day, which had cardio elements to it. I ended up getting breathless, and my heart rate went up. I felt good and energised after the workout - but still, I couldn't prevent getting out of breath when that happened, it was so sudden. Like, no way i could have passed the talk test and have a conversation in that moment. The “hard” part of the workout was about 10 minutes, and i took a couple of breaks.
I went on a google rabbit hole afterwards, reading that getting out of breath during exercise, heart racing, could harm the baby, since the oxygen flow is diverted from the placenta. Now I am worried I did something wrong, biggest worry of course being that of having induced a MMC (my biggest fear these days).
I would appreciate anyone sharing their experience and knowledge about breathlessness whilst exercising in the first trimester, feeling really anxious and hope my baby is safe :)

Hi ! I am recently in the interview process with a climate based grassroots organization. I guess I am looking for advice, as I’m not sure if I should continue the process.
My first interview was rescheduled 4 times (one of those on my end due to heavy snow making the call drop). After the interview was finally done, I competed a lengthy questionnaire that supplemented the interview. Turns out this questionnaire was more insightful than the actual interview. Then, I am sent “next steps.” One of these includes going onto a college campus and collecting 15+ petition signatures for an ongoing campaign they are running. Mind you, I received the next steps 5 days before the second round. To me, it feels odd to ask for this task when it’s unpaid, but it is a grassroots organization.
Is it normal to be asked to cavas for campaigns I know nothing about/am not being compensated for? Is there any advice you would give on withdrawing or continuing the process? TIA

2025.01.23 14:28 mfgonz Prints coming out wrong after first 3d printing month! Help
 | Hi! I've been printing for a month now, and prints have come out mostly perfect until a few days ago, when i started testing some light switch plates, first with my BambuLab PLA, but it wasn't as terrible as this one I did with Creality Hyper PETG (First time using PETG). I'm pretty new to 3d printing so sometimes i might forget to set some things correctly, but prints have been nice until now. Any ideas? I dried the filament before using it using the Creality Dryer Box for about 8 hours at 60 degrees C. Any tips or feedback on things I can try to test it are welcome! I also tested a boaty from the bambulab library to see if it might be a thing with the 3d model itself but the boaty came out horrible as well, full of spaghetti. 2025.01.23 14:28 AutoModerrator-69 TIL that adding “Cuba” to your memo field in Zelle automatically flags the transaction
I sent my wife some money using Zelle for our vacation to Cuba (departing from the US) so she could withdraw it from the ATM prior to our trip.
Next thing I know my wife hasn’t got the money. I went to my bank app and it said the transaction was pending (not typical whenever I’ve sent her money - it’s always been immediately sent)
This was 3 days ago. Anyways, I get an email from the bank within a couple of hours saying the transaction has been flagged for “Economic sanctions screening” i knew this wasn’t good after I reviewed my memo field that said “Cuba vacation money” and how they could potentially review that as a sketchy transaction given the circumstances.
Anyways I went back and forth with Bank of America for 3 days. They went into asking details about my trip to Cuba, what’s the purpose of the visit and what I’d be using the money for and finally released the money this morning.
Hope this helps somebody someday since I was stupid enough to not think about it when I put that note in there.
Note to self : Don’t use the memo field for tracking transactions 😂

2025.01.23 14:28 ewilliam Solo Challenge glitchy for anyone else?
So last week, it was doing this thing where I'd watch ads to get 15 extra tickets (four max per day) and it would do the animation of tickets flying into my stack, but then the number wouldn't increase (but it would still take away one of my four opportunities). I contacted support and they ended up giving me tickets and said it's a known issue.
This week, it's being weird with the cost of various tiers of solo challenges. Yesterday, I was halfway through the third tier, and suddenly the cost went from 10 to 30 tickets. So I played a few more at that cost, just one into the fourth tier, 30 tix each. This morning, I tried it again, and the cost in the 4th tier is back down to 15 tickets.
Am I the only one with all these glitches?

Back in middle school, right before summer break, I was getting ready for school. I made sure my backpack had everything I needed, grabbed a shirt, and started looking for shorts because it was hot outside. The problem? I had no clean shorts left. My mom eventually found me a pair, but there was a small hole in them. I wasn’t sure about wearing them, but my mom said it would be fine, so I trusted her.
I walked to school, got to class, and noticed some kids laughing. At first, I couldn’t figure out why, but then my friend pointed down—and that little hole in my shorts had gotten bigger. I panicked. I tried everything to cover it up: pins, tissues—anything I could think of—but nothing worked. In fact, the hole just kept growing. Eventually, my teacher gave me duct tape, and it actually worked…for a while.
Then came gym class. Of course, we were playing basketball. I was hoping the duct tape would hold, but nope—it came right off, and even took part of the shorts with it! Luckily, the gym teacher had a pair of cold-weather gym pants I could borrow.
When I got home, I showed my mom the mess my shorts had become. We both started laughing, and I reminded her that I was right about the hole. It’s one of those memories that’s funny looking back, but at the time, it was pure chaos!
Guys if you see a hole in your pants or on your kids pants don't let them go lol

They've never dated or done anything physical. He asked her out once and she rejected. She isn't interested in him either. But she calls him his best friend and they do hang out like best friends. I don't know what to think about this. I find the situation a bit weird but I am not sure if this is a red flag or not. I'd like some advice
Edit: I haven't met the guy but I am pretty sure he doesn't know that she is dating someone since me and my gf met recently and we haven't rly told anyone in our lives that we're dating.

Have you noticed a difference between taking class in the morning vs the evening? Today was my 7th class and it was a struggle. My muscles felt fatigued by the end of the warm up. It was my first Classic class at 7am, all of my other ones have been in the afternoon or evening. So I’m wondering if it’s just par for the course and some classes will be rough or if it might be because I essentially just rolled out of bed before class.
