2025.01.23 14:26 ashefern First J tube Change
Dad (63M) has a J tube, placed October 2024, its been 14 weeks. There are growths on the inside of the tube near the end entering the body, but the surgeon said it was "fine" and he refused a tube change (growths causing indentations on the outside of the tube, no amount of coke or digestive enzymes are dong anything)
Said that if we change this tube (T styled J tube, no button, fastened with sutures) he will have to get one with buttons/bumpers, which the surgeon doesn't like due to complications? I have not found a single person on any of the tube groups that have a T style J tube, I don't know if this surgeon is just behind and old school or what, he also said it is impossible and "unsafe" to blend real food for the J.. I know this is also bull...
Though because of this, my dad is very reluctant to change the tube (even tho it clogs daily from just formula...) How can I help him understand the importance of a tube change, and the the tube he currently has I cannot find any info on? My dad fully trusts whatever his doctors say, even though I have been doing 4 months of research on this..

Recently, I was fortunate enough to visit Mathura-Vrindavan. The trip started off perfectly; we caught the right train, which was on time. Everything seemed to be going smoothly.
However, upon arrival, we encountered a bit of trouble. We accidentally left our bags behind and had to rush back to retrieve them. Next day, I hurt my toe quite badly on a temple step. On the same day, in the evening, I fell down and hit my head on an iron sticking out of an e-rickshaw. I was bleeding profusely and was taken to a nearby medical store where they patched up my head.
Now that the trip is over and i sit here with my head wrapped up in all kinds of bandages, I wonder why did all of the things that happened, occurred in the first place. And please note that this is not the first time, such thing has happened to me. When I was young, I hurt my head in Indore, Ujjain and many other places.
I wonder why such things happen to me. If anyone would be interested to shed any light on the matter, I would really appreciate it!

I have been unable to get iTunes server working on my NAS running 6.0 TOS. I wrote to TerraMaster 2 years ago and they said there was an issue with/ the latest version of Apple Music that caused the issues.
...it has been 2 years now and TerraMaster does not reply to my e-mails on this topic and it still does not work.
Has anyone else been able to get it to work?

2025.01.23 14:26 thelaneneartheocean I checked my spam inbox and found an email from a "hacker", it says a count down has stated since I opened the email and I'm now freaking out!
Today I had a phone call with someone , it is unrelated to the situation but they sent me an email with information and advised me to check my spam inbox in case it falls there, it didn't.
After checking the spam inbox I found an email from someone named "Marco Polo" (gmail account: informasterjuan), I read a small snipet and thought it was the classic scammy email about them hacking my operating system, after opening it (still marked as spam) my heart sank.
This person states my real email adress and that he has full access to my account, he shows the password for my HBOMax account that is saved in my Google passwords and claims to have been monitoring me for months, stating that my computer was infected with spyware after I visited a "nsfw" website. He explains that thanks to "trojan viruses" he has access to my computer or any other device I own, likewise I'm assuming my phone (where I'm writing from), he says that he can see everything on my screen including turning my camera and microphone on without me knowing, as well as gaining access to emails, contacts, messages and private files.
Furthermore he states that my antivirus wouldn't be able to detect these "viruses" because he is using "harmful software that is driver-based" which refreshes it's signature every hour.
Then the part that terrified me was that he has a video compilation of me on the left side "pleasing myself" while on the right side "the content I was watching" and that he can and will send it to anyone I've ever been in contact with, that be my email account, Twitter, Facebook maybe even Discord. He says to avoid this from happening I need to send him 2700 USD to him through a bitcoin account and that after he's received it he would leave me alone and delete the video.
At the end he says that he will receive a notification after the emais has been opened, starting a 50 hour countdown to send him the money or else. He says to not try to reply to the email as "the email was generated inside my inbox alongside a return address", and if I tried showing it to someone else he would make everything public instantly. Oh and he wishes me "good luck!".
I saw someone on this subreddit 6 months ago had a similar problem, but it just so happens that person never posted anything again after that which made me worried even more, I need your help, your opinions on what to do. I have installed Malwarebytes after this happened and the only thing it detected was uTorrent which even though it doesn't bug me I put into quarantine, I also installed their browser extension and so far nothing else came up. I also did not reply to the email as I noticed it's not something you should do.
